Idler Pulley Replacement 2007 Nissan Maxima

  • Had a metallic grinding noise on my 2007 Maxima, I was afraid that it was the alternator or a/c bearing at first. When I got stopped It sounded more like the idler. Here is the replacement process on a 2007 Nissan Maxima.. You will need a 14MM Wrench and 14MM Socket with extensions to get to the adjustment bolt. Also will need a flat head screwdriver to get the plastic clips out.

    Can someone please show me what the spacer looks like on the pulley or even how it goes back on, mine is rubbing against the bolt on the bracket

    That spacer you put in front of the tensioner an before the pully ..do u knw the part number to it so i can trll o rilleys so they can order it? I lost that part

      I don't man, I was going to replace mine but the only way I could find to replace it was to buy the whole thing.
