The problem is not yiffing. The problem is backstabbing friends. That's why I turned my back on the fandom. I'm still a furry, but I just hate the community for it's toxicity.
I left the fandom because I was getting blackmailed by some people (I can’t tell you their names because it’ll possibly ruin their reputation they’ll deny it and tell everyone my dark secrets) and they also already took away my reputation and popularity. And I’m tired of being called a bad guy and for once: I just wanted to be a good guy

Moral of the story; don't make fandoms your internet identity. I quit considering fandoms after going through SIX of them; all because they were toxic for one reason or another. But don't let other people pressure you into fandoms. I've been there, done that. Didn't work. At all.

I totally understand the main reasons you left but I just have a few things to say. 1) you don’t need a fursuit to be a furry or for others to see you as one and 2) there is a sexual aspect to all fandoms and I get that the furry fandom has a lot... but it doesn’t really matter unless you let it. Most of the time you only see the art ifcyou look for it and you definitely only find videos when you look for them. You should never let people doing stupid things distract you from why you enjoy it. On that note, it’s still fine you left. It’s because you no longer enjoy it that much and I can respect that. Some people outgrow things and I just hope you enjoy whatever you’re into now!

(Ps: most furries now don’t murrsuit. In fact a large portion of them are rather young and don’t engage in any sexual situations with others)
