Really miss this guy so chilled no ego and often replied to comments on his videos, including myself. RIP💪 🍀
Yeah, RIP. Such a shame
how he died?
@@issmoul931 Sadly heart issue
@@laowai2000 how it's possible when you make body building. Normally your cardio should be amazing. Wtf
@@issmoul931 Bodybuilders carry a lot of weight. Like putting a four cylinder in a monster truck. At 51 and working out on and off for years. At 200 pounds plus I also have some heart issues. All that extra muscle is just more work for the heart. The heart grows as well to carry the weight. This can cause issues with irregular heart beat… what I face personally as well. Can’t imagine the state of the Olympia contender hearts, or a Mike Hearn.
Even in heaven, mountain DAWG still givin us gainzzz T.T
❤
Only if he's born again. Don't assume he's in heaven.
@@Twister1980 why wouldn't he be???
@@wessley4606 I hope he is.
@@wessley4606 Only God knows. I hope he is in heaven. Who ever rejects God or his son will not go to heaven. Doesn't matter if the person was good on earth.
This dude was so empathetic and kind it actually hurt to hear he wasn’t with us any more. Props to his fam for putting out videos of his insights, they are much needed in the world.
What a great guy. Totally cool and no attitude. Appreciate the help. Thank you
RIP John still dropping knowledge from heaven
One of my go-to’s for biceps. There’s plenty of value to this movement
RIP this man
Miss your awesome content John, RIP. Thanks to his family for uploading these still.
Crucifix curls are definitely my favorite!!
You are not alone.
@Thesaurum I would imagine you could but your not going to get complete fullness. Like he said I'm other vids. Hammer curls Def need to be thrown I. TJere
@@kerrykelly9591 You are kind of right, but the topic was biceps, and hammers are mainly for the brachialis 😎 Bilateral !! crusifix curls are my #1 for biceps 👍
But what about crucifix curls with cigarette in mouth?
Missing him is a different type of pain. I never met him but I’ll always appreciate him.
You sir, are missed. I learned so much from you.
Thank you for your kind words
thank you for your legacy John
We effin miss you down here man. Samson and Shaun are doing such incredible work. Missy Truscout too
Thanks, John. Always helpful. Rest well.
So glad your still running his videos.
Love his thorough, methodical, clear very knowledgeable way of explaining. What a great, good, nice, inspiring man he was. Really miss him in our world.
How'd he die?
I feel like John would not have said that this is the only biceps exercise you need haha RIP
forreal though, disrespectful just repost his content and let his words tell the caption
@@Damian-vi3wk if I'm not mistaken a family member runs the account so be careful with the term disrespectful
to claim a body builder said that you only need ONE exercise for a muscle group is indeed dumb
@@joeberger3441 Is it not disrespectful? Family member or not to claim a body builder said you only need one exercise for a muscle group is dumb
@@hooktraining3966 Erstens würde er das nie sagen Und zweitens kann man sehr viel lernen von ihm beziehungsweise mit seinen alten Videos aber dass er nur eine Übung als genug propagiert ist einfach nicht wahr.
Man, I can't believe he's no longer here. He gave us a lot of great exercises.
...and with his videos here, he keeps on giving 👍 Only just discovered his videos, and they are Awesome
Great way to learn how to flex the lats while also flexing the arms for a double bicep! This helped me create better mind muscle connection💪
Very soft spoken 👍
John is still spilling that knowledge ❤
Never done this one ,definitely going to try , thanx John
Thank you so much Pro ♥️
Loved his Dedication to helping others become a better version of themselves
I've learned something recently. I've always done the 8/12 rep thing (if you can do more than 12 reps, go heavier, if you can't do 8 then go lighter), and after a few sets I get a nice big pump, but the pump goes away quickly. Anyway, I decided to try max curling a 50 lb kettlebell and I couldn't do even one rep (hey, I'm nearing 70 and I'm about Tom Cruise's size). But in 3 months I can do 5 reps with each arm, 100% effort. No pump, because I'm doing just 1 set every other day (because it really strains the tendons and recovery is important). But here's the thing, my biceps and forearms have become rock hard 100% of the time, and noticeably larger! It's like a pump that doesn't go away. And my arms (even my grip) are MUCH stronger than any other time in my life.
Large grip on the kettlebell helps that forearm growth a lot. You inspire me to do kettlebell curls again. That’s awesome that you have even more grip strength now than any other time in your life.
I use kind of a similar approach, at least in spirit. I lift with a very low-carb diet, so I go heavier for only 5-6 reps, since that's about how long it takes each set for the fuel to burn out.
If I can completely do all 6 sets at a weight, it's time to move up until I can only complete about 3-4 of the sets. Work up to 6 full sets then repeat. It takes as long as it takes.
Of course, I'm now 52 with a gremlin in my shoulder, so this is always subject to change. 😁
By the looks of his biceps, I would take this advice‼️
It’s gear 🤡
@@GODSWORD11doesn’t happen automatically tho you still have to train harder than before
@@LeatherfacePapi yep. But it’s 100% gear.
love it, I'm working around tendon tear and I'm going to try these.
Never met John, I would love to have. What an inspiration ❤ Big Love Big Man. RIP.
