Well I thought I had it all figured out until I watched this 😂 I am currently paying $266 a month for cable and I can't afford it and I don't watch half the crap I'm paying for. Philo has all the channels that I want with a cloud DVR for $25 a month. Xfinity (who I hate) has unlimited with 800Mbps (but I read the upload speed is slow) with the X1 for $75 a month tax included. But after reading the comments I now need to look into IPTV, a VPN, an android box, etc. Now I'm lost again and I don't know what to do as I sit here watching my expensive Xfinity 🤦🏻♀️
@@ACitizenOfOurWorld Almost all good live TV streaming services now have cloud DVR. Additionally, even if a service doesn't have cloud DVR, most streaming services have a web portal, from which you can record using a screen recorder. Lotsa ways to skin this cat nowadays, and without paying $200 a month either!
@chriggsiii that's what I'm working on now. Bill is about $300/mo for internet and cable with Xfinity and ya know what, that's insane as it doesn't include the streaming services on the side.
Cable is far too expensive but all of the other options are far too technical and clunky. It would be great to have one turn-key PVR that would attach to an antenna and ethernet and just find all the programs wanted. Until such devices are available overpriced cable appears to be the simplest solution.
I don't post videos. But if you read up on it. It will tell you how to install and run it. But first you have o have some way of getting internet to your tv. That's why I tell people to get a cheap android box. You do know that IPTV isn't free. I pay $17 a month but I get every channel out there.
I CUT THE CORD AND SAVE AT LEAST $120 A MONTH THEN SIGN UP FOR ACP AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM WHICH CAN GIVE YOU $30 A MONTH FOR INTERNET ACCESS. ALL I PAY NOW JUST $35 A MONTH FOR INTERNET ACCESS FROM AT&T FIBER 500 MBPS. JUST GET FIRESTICK HD OR ROKU OF YOUR CHOICE AND YOU'RE DONE. BIG SAVING.
@@bionicwoman9884 This is so true. Frankly, it's maddening to see people spending almost $200 a month for a service for which they could be spending less than half that per month. It feels like fingernails on a blackboard!

He had me lost when he started listing all these streaming platforms to subscribe too. Might as well keep cable
I know, it's a lot to take in. Please see the description for a list of our favorite streaming services.
@@Shane_Murphy_Hendricksonis that supposed to be an insult?
Should I buy a modem to use with my wifi router or rent one for $10/mo. from the internet provider?
Modems cost approximately 15 bucks a month on some services,it will pay for itself in less than a year. Check your IP for supported modems.
Great content at the time
Don’t forget some of the BluRay players have web streaming access, too….
You’re right.
Locast is all well and good (4:22). But what if I want to DVR my local channels? Locast doesn't give me that. What do I do then?
I still have a Betamax

What about when your email and phone is tied to your ISP?
Get a Gmail or Ymail account, they are free. VOIP only requires a device and internet.
I've tested half of these antennas, and they don't come in worth a ****
IPTV with a VPN. And movies and TV shows with cinema HD plus a TV with built in roku. There's nothing I can't watch.

IPTV is much better than paying for any high cost streaming service!!!!
I agree. I have every channel I can think of. Running it off my android box connected to a roku TV. I have more than I can watch.
