Over 120,000 fans watched the 1997 Northwest 200 road races as Phil McCallen took the chequered flag in the Mobil 1 Superbike race after fighting hard with Mike Rutter over the fast Triangle course. Rutter’s revenge was to lift the coveted NW200 Superbike title and take 600cc honours as well.
No less spectacular were the 125, 250, Junior 250 and Production 700 races all of which are fully featured in this exciting event that attracted the cream of road racing talents - Ramsay, Owens, McGuinness, Plater, Lougher and others. You’ll thrill to every moment of incredible, sensational, even scary on-bike plus 22 cameras around the course and helicopter coverage to ensure you see all of the action!
