I have 2010 Infiniti FX 35 3.5 Litre , and the transmission drain and fill plug looks totally different . There is a female hex smaller that 1o MM , and there is also a bolt towards the back of the tran, The fill plug is neither a bolt or a hex, it seems a special tool is need just to flush the fluids from tran. pan.
Dude, I have a 2004 Infiniti FX35 as well, I have done the diff, gonna do the tranny, waiting on bulbs to come. I was wondering have you seen the puddle lights with the infiniti logo? If so where and if not check into it, I have seen them for 2009 and up just not our year....
I just finished a transmission filter and fluid change on this SUV, I need to edit it. It was not a fun job. I did not know that they made those or they came from the factory, but I will look into it. Thank you for your comment and I hope the video helps.

So, I think they redesigned by then, so its probably different, but not tool terribly different. Sorry for the late reply.

What type of oil do you use?
Are there 2 differentials on fx35 , rear and front , or just one of them . I also have an 2004 fx35
There is a AWD and RWD model. I have the RWD model.

Jesus Avi no, not to just drain and fill the transmission fluid, but changing the filter is a very involved task.

What tool did you use to crack the bolts
Long wrench generally, if that doesn't work, lightly hit with an impact gun.

@@z66ka drain and fill 4 litters, I did mine today, but mine is FX45. I think both FX35/45 has same transmission.
