no stayed the same distance as the other one
Did it make it harder to steer? I used a knock off NRG hub and it was super tight/ hard to turn as it was hitting the clock spring/ plastic around it
it was not hard to steer, if you trim the plastic it helps a bit, it felt stiffer but not hard to where it feels like you have no power steering

Did the splines on the hub line up to the splines on the steering column? I tried this hub on my 04 sierra and the hole on the hub was too big. Isn't it suppose to engage?
the hub uses the stock bolt to connect it to the hub, then use the nrg hub adapter and bolt it to that. did you get the correct hub ? 170h
@HDzayy yea I got the 170h, but the splines didn't line up because of the size different. So when I would put the 170h hub on the column, it would just turn loosely
@@johnnysosa9414 did you reuse the bolt you took off of the steering wheel? thats what holds it in place and lets the adapter mount up to it
@HDzayy yea I reused. Maybe the 03-07 has different upper steering shafts

yes you can put any steering wheels as long as the holes are the same

@@aruixa2602 yeah if the adapter has 6 holes and the wheels have 6 holes then it should work, most quick release steering wheels are universal so it should work

@@nbsreyes you just have to keep Turing it and test driving it tell it feels straight that’s how I did it in my bmw just kept moving It bsck and for the the hub tell it felt right
