Did Sony secretly create the Switch 20 years ago?

Ironically before the PSP was the Sega Genesis Nomad that was a switch before a switch. Technology helped the PSP to take steps alot further than the Nomad but the idea was there back then from both Sega and Sony

Crazy how little this was marketed/implemented in it's time. I loved my PSP but I don't think I even once connected it to a TV which I probably would have loved when I was younger.
What a marketing meltdown marking a mediocre mainstream mobile media medium.
