Well, now in 2024, it seems that at least the face tracker isnt available to get anymore X D so the support with upgrade stuff like it has run out? Seems a bit odd, that it is already "left behind" or something. At least you can get the body trackers I guess. I have bought the vive pro 2 a week ago. No, I dont miss the face tracker. Still sad. It is a bit underwhelming so far, but also I dont have that big of room space ^^ The power-cable for the link-box is pretty darn short. Way shorter than the cable for the base stations. So far it is nice to get a foot into vr stuff, learning a bit how it works, having fun with it : )
@DaBlueGuy9193 nice to know as that would save me from spending on new lenses. Especially since these are now getting to the 200 euro price refurbished
I'm really interested in the vive pro 2 but the controllers... does anyone know of any other controllers (other than the valve index controllers) that are compatible???
DO NOT BY THIS there is a thermal issue with the headset that will eventually destroy the optics. i got 2 years out of mine after reading forums on how to prevent damage to the optics however it only delays when the optics will fail (and your 12 month warenty will be up) if you dont believe this comment a quick google search will show you the vast amount of people who have had this issue and unlike the previous vives you cannot seem to purchase a replacement display and fix it yourself.
Can i use just a headset for flight sim and not purchase the boxs or controllers?
What do you need....a RTX 3090TI per eye to get to that resolution with at least 90hz? Time to re introduce SLI i guess

Pretty much any controller that uses the vive base stations can be used. That includes the original vive and index controllers.
I saw that the Vive Link box connects to the Graphic card's display port. If I use a laptop with an HDMI port only, can this be connected to that?
where th is the charging port i was trying to open it but it needs charging where tf is the charging port
What is wrong with the sound, sounds like its some interference with your microphone when you're talking..
