TFP have shown time and time again they are a deep pit of half backed ideas.
I have been playing this game off and on since 2014. Since around alpha 17, it seems like this game has become a game of the Devs against the players. It was there before, but there felt like a huge change around that time.
I feel they would do much better, to make this a game, focused on the average player. I have had servers up and running, I have lost count of how many times I have seen new players rage quite this game. Many of the changes over the years have felt punitive and spiteful. I have run servers for a variety of games, I can say, this one is the most unfriendly to new players.
The antagonistic relationship feels like it is mostly driven by the ego of one maybe two individuals.

For devs it should always be a question of why players do something, not constantly patching to stop them from doing anything

I had (have technically) a server for my bestie and I for alpha 21 with a different server host and I was looking around for new server hosts for 1.0 mainly cause I don’t like customizing with XML (cause I’m lazy and we play practically on all the easiest settings 😂) so as soon as you brought up normal customization for the game I was sold lmao
be aware that they charge almost twice as much as the competition if you look for a small server only.
For the mining outfit - using less fuel is already a thing in 7DTD: it's the bonus effect for the biker outfit. I think it would make sense to have the mining outfit do a little of both stamina conservation and fuel conservation.
I just did vanity tower last night. At the end it will probably say there is 1 left in underground garage. If it does go to the security office and flip the switch. The garage door will open and a few zombies come out and that’s it
With this change for forge ahead i will probably just cheat myself them 75 books just to shove it up TFP's arse. Not that it really affects progression since u need the materials to craft all the workstations n all, but that will spare me a good bit of frustration
I might start doing like Mr. Iz and stop building horde bases. TFP can have their cement mixer
I think cautious pancake here on RUclips has a very low effort/part horde base that's basically afk. I'd rather turn blood moon off entirely though then doing that. I like slapping Z with my electric baton and send them flying.
about steel shovels being worse than iron ones
last time i played, it was changed so that steel shovels now take the same stamina as a iron shovel, but have more durability and do more damage(useless), for the same swing speed.
so unless they changed it in 1.0 to make steel shovels worse than irons shovels again, steel shovels are technically a tiny upgrade over iron ones, for the cost of way more resources.
in other words, unless you're allergic to augers for some reason and insist on using shovels to dig a large amount of terrain, iron shovels are probably still technically better to craft than steel ones.
Instead of TFP working on trying and failing to slow down the gamers from reaching the "end game".
Was really hoping TFP would have added:
actual 3rd person camera that's already in the game
More volume sliders at least an SFX slider
teleportion/fast travel at the traders and your base.
I found a Savage Country in a desert city, ended up getting 18 legendary parts out of it. I think they set the spawn rate a bit higher than necessary to showcase the new armors.
I found 8 on the snow savage country so I'm guessing they do have a decent chance to get some since it is a armor POI
The completion reward for the wasteland series of books is to find more legendary parts.
18:55 in his last series, Temreki found cops spitting at any block that wasn't a solid cube. turns out even if you can't see the cops, but between you and them there are no *full* cube blocks, they will still spit at you.

Enforcer gloves have fuel usage buff, I assume that works on both tools and vehicles but I don't know. You would lose the block damage bonus from the mining gloves but could be worth it.

The minor chest piece with meat stew and red tea and I can mine oil shale non stop using steel pick axe.
I did what you sugested re holding off on using my forged ahead i got to 50 used a teir 4 nerdy jacket and hit 75 win
Can't wait for make a level 6 iron shovel. Never found one. First thing I wanted when they anounced level 6 crafting.
Time to grind out a mining episode and smelting steel to fund your crafting urges. The end of the game is in sight
One of the other armours has a piece that reduces fuel use, I think it's the Enforcer, might be limited to vehicles.
But it seems like it is something they can mess with so could be a nice update to have the miner gear work with the powered tools
While you wait on the t5 ratchet you should make a t5 wrench....although a t1 ratchet will have the same mod slots and do more damage then a t5 wrench, but with the new wrench you'd be doing more damage then with your t2. As far as what you said about lockpicking I'm doing that on my new game. Currently grinding my way to t6 armor

You definitely can. I found multiple lvl 6 tools in my current playthrough
Those Pass n Gas places you stopped at for gas and books. Did you get the Pass n Gas crate that is in the ceiling of the office behind the register?
Joel sounds like one of the guys from Neebs Gaming. Or a comedian actor whose name I forget.
Core issue behind the Lockpick change is TFP do not know how to really balance a game, their concept of balance is 'add more grind'; books/mag vs learn by doing, nerf the trader quests/rewards because they can not balance crafting vs questing, etc. Luckily TFP have made a good framework for Mod creators to make a great game with, more so now that we should not be seeing any more major system revamps.
Since the new metà is basically fuck xp, would you consider a series basically just for shit and giggles?
On day one you start off with a max lvl character with every perk taken, no crafting book and no items and see how the game plays out that way. Should be interesting what the forest will spawn XD. Just cuz of how crazy that setup would be all exploits are allowed 😊
Devs that fine tune their game for min/maxers wind up ruining their game. They are wasting their time and digging their graves, so to speak. Devs should care more about players having fun. I don't think 1.0 is as fun as A21. If they keep taking away the sandbox nature, I'll eventually move on to another game.

i keep hearing people say you cant find lv6 items anymore but i have found several by doing tier 6 quests in the Infested box and yes my game is 1.0
There must be a way for them to reduce the gas used by the auger because they have a fuel saver mod for vehicles.
the fuel saver is used in a vehicle, the gas in an auger is used as ammunition like in a gun.
@@IzPrebuilt Couldn't they program an item that made "every sixth shot free", or something like that? If only 5 out of 6 uses consume ammo you've made yourself a de facto "fuel saver".
Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with the resolution of this video being stuck at 360 or 480p? There doesn’t seem to be an option to choose the video quality as well.
I know the larger trucks have more HP so they take longer to scrap, but doesn't that mean they also provide more fuel when you scrap them?
I would prob use that legendary part on either mining helmet or mining gloves though...
I was thinking preacher gloves or stun baton.

The lockpick nerf is only really a nerf on single player. Multi player on the other hand No real change..... My friend runs an int build and I run a Str build. Since I put points in lockpicking and never hit 15 with it since he reads all the forge a heads ...... It really doesn't affect me.
I somehow got 2 legendary parts in a garment bag in a lvl 2 house
They're so random. Players have found them in washing machines and garbage bags. I got one in a duffle bag. I got 2 recently, and I can't remember from what because I was so shocked.
Why not just reduce the drop chance multiplier of the forge ahead books from lockpicking instead of introducing such a dumb solution? xD

it is just stupid you no longer can find tier 6 in end chests , only craft now it take's away the whole point of clearing a tier 5 or 6 . craft need to be to 5 looting need to be 6 and old min'max armor whit al clouding mod's are still better to me . yes there some armor who has nice perks but you need to run around whit 4 sets of armor now . love the channel , love the creator

I always enjoyed finding high-performance running shoes and the college jacket early game, but the new armor system seems like too much of a hassle. I would’ve preferred a wider variety of consumables. Heck, even ones that boost your core attributes temporarily so you are able to have those higher level skills without using the 2 or 3 pts on level 6-10 attributes. Throw in a chance to get addicted like in Fallout and I’ll dust off the game. Like rockbusters boosting strength by 1 allowing you to temporarily use level 4 miner 69er, but there’s a chance you get addicted and have to go to Rekt for the cure…and we all know what Rekt wants for that cure 😕

Yea, the FunPimps seem to be doing everything they can to isolate new players and not address some of the core issues that the, otherwise, amazing game has. The book system is garbage. It's nonsensical. It's grindy. It's luck based. It's really a poor implementation. They should have explored mods that address this poor system.
this nerd outfit shouldnt exist, i´ve been saing it in every content creator channel hoping fp change it, also they need make xp a think you need to keep up with the world and not a think that just penalizes you, also horde nights shouldnt escale with lvl or biome, should be a treat by it self, since the dumb thing is justfighting it in the forest. actually too putting points in dare adventurer is reaally strong for progression by trader, if you focus in then you can get pretty fast steel stuf at high lvls.
