Kaworu is an interesting character. So hyped for kyo to watch end of evangelion, and it would be awesome if rebuild was posted here as well. Rebuild is worth watching imo.
I highly recommend watching The End of Evangelion once you finish the series. There’s also the more recent Rebuild of Evangelion that you could check out.
When Kaji first reveals Adam in the briefcase to Gendo he says something like 'it's frozen in dura-bakelite but it's already reconstituted itself this far'. So based on that I think the logical assumption that the series is trying to persuade the viewer to mistakenly make is that Adam was grown from the embryo in the briefcase into the huge being on the cross that Kaji shows to Misato in Terminal Dogma in episode 15.

Ep25/26 are Hard to understand. I think ep25/26 are playing parallely to the Film end of Eva and explains what is happen in their minds.

They didn't take that out, they translated it closer to the original. Don't say it was "fans" complaining.

They didn't take it out, nor did they make it closer to the original Japanese. "好き" can simply translated as either "love" or "like."
