    Sports MDs are by far the most pragmatic and direct physicians. It took me years to get a Sports MD as my primary, and the results have been beyond awesome. Strangely enough, the greatest positive effect has been avoiding NEEDLESS TREATMENTS! My Sports MD prefers to first try a few simple things to see if any of them "move the needle", then proceed in the direction that provided the best outcomes. So many other MDs want to jump to the end of the game, to "fix it all at once", to do what's "needed" ASAP.
    Even if you are not in any way an athlete, a Sports MD can provide a step up in your care. And should you choose to become more active, a Sports MD will give you the best advice for preventing your new activities from damaging your body.

    NICE video Scottie. Using Strange Parts to gain more information and share to the world not just on how electronics and technology works, but to also use the resources that's available to get better physically and mentally. Student for life mentality.
    SIDE NOTE: thanks to advancements in technology, we can take proper procedures to handle any concussion protocols before getting worse.
    Lastly, while it was unfortunate that you suffered a concussion, you turned a negative into a positive by keeping us in the loop as you're on the road to recovery.

    I wonder if this therapy will one day be used for things like ADHD, brain fog, chronic fatigue, memory issues... and not only issues as a result of concussions. Just fine tuning and improving "smaller" issues.
    Edit: I should say that I wonder if this type of 1 week program can help these symptoms when they're not a result of a concussion, but also if it will become affordable enough since insurances probably won't help in those cases without a diagnosis of something like a concussion.

      Well brain fog at least, we're starting to think it causes the same damage concussions do (damage to the vasculature of the brain), so I bet CognitiveFX could really help people suffering from it.
      Another thing my doctor recommended for me when I was dealing with brain fog due to post-COVID stuff, was Benadryl. It actually helped a lot, and I have no idea why, neither does my doc. I've actually been considering pursuing some further treatment for this, so maybe I'll talk to these folks...

      Same.. I'm suffering from the decades of effects of long term stress, and can't help wondering what befits this kind of test and treatments could have if they was available to me. Cus I definitely suffer from some parts of my brains no longer function as the used to and other parts having to try compensate + finding workarounds for the missing abilities that the stress damaged.
      Some of my daily challenges I can definitely see parallels to what Scotty describes.

    The healthcare system is broken. They set you away for 4 or 6 months "you can wait, you won't die", but you're costing society a massive amount of money by not working! I know it's not nice to only see the financial aspects, but the financial aspect is what motivates (or SHOULD motivate) a functioning government to keeping the populus healthy as much of the time as possible.

    Thanks for sharing Man! Awesome progress that seriously needs to be brought out more. Reminds me of many many health issues not well disclosed, disseminated or just maybe maliciously ignored whether arrogance or intentional ignorance. Especially these more psychological and osteopathic like methods that don't require drug medications. Anyways, I'll comment the same here as well in a paste of the copy below in a comment reply.
    Wondering if they've seen anyone or looked into those connected or experiencing the health attacks/assaults, a.k.a. "Havana Syndrome?" Seems like since U.S. military have come out with, as well as some of the inventors, they may have some experience regarding that I don't recall reading about or watching in the reports that are public. May only be a very specific symptom of very specific assault modalities that are more aggressive photonic-phononic methods I term as "body assaults" versus the milder sound or mind control assaults that might not even cause a high enough physical assault from the transverse or shear waves I believe is the term for the mechanical induced effect... where the phononic effect (high enough pressure from sound or RF expansion and contraction or maybe only specific resonances or other) is that effect from the boundary condition transform.
    I know nurses are like with me at times... can't do anything without a helmet and can't do many things anyways... having that trauma medicine background family I guess as well. Then again... the Dr's are more bold and just enjoy life! 🙂 Though some days I wonder if they're promoting their business... wishy washy joking. 😕🙂 Though yeah... some nurses are like... don't ride bikes, no motorcycles, no dirt bikes, no four wheelers, no race cars, etc. especially the unbalanced motorcycles is just nuts. I balked on the trophy truck renting, though caves on the off road dune buggy's since man those are enjoyable for some reason. Roller coasters land even like gravitron and those upside down hammer like rides that flip and hold upside down seem enjoyable as well... though I never have told any nurses and haven't been on since being a teen. 🙂
    Anyways, great details and thanks again for sharing! Wishing all the best! Kind Regards.

      Reminds me more thinking about how the ER/ICU Dr's and Nurse's noted that being bed ridden each day actually adds to whatever the condition being hospitalized is going to last... I've experienced and I've witnessed more than once. So something like for each day bed ridden (almost can consider like very sedentary maybe?) plan on 2-6(?) days longer to take to get back to feeling, as was, prior to the health condition where made bed ridden in the ER/ICU.

    Thanks Scotty, for sharing this clip. I'd just watched your Micronics review, the first time I've seen your page, and subscribed immediately. Then browsing back into this episode, I'm feeling kind'a daja vue. I'm renovating my own makerspace into my home, and planning to start my own channel, too (cool name, btw). P.S.: if you haven't transformed your CT scan or MRI into a full scale 3D print, I highly recommend doing so. The print looks cool, but that's just the first step. Too many options to list, and I haven't even found the best one yet.

However, from an experience when I first responded to during a mission trip at the hostel I was staying where I was speaking with someone one evening and they vomited and started having a mild seizure... then seemed and felt OK... I was like not confident they didn't want to go to the ER and seek medical attention. Thanks to another young lady who was very concerned and compelled him to go, a ride was arranged and they took him to the ER in Quito... I forget if was HCJB or what the hospital was called. Guessing personality types will impact decision making as well and not only the ability to self diagnose even if can.

    • @EnigmaNL
      @EnigmaNL 2 года назад +1

      @@jafinch78 it is pretty simple tho. If you hit your head really hard, see a doctor immediately. I've had two concussions (one very mild and more serious) and because I went to the doctor right away the damage was reduced by a lot.
      I do live in a country with free healthcare so maybe that's a factor as well. People generally don't wait and see here when it comes to their health.

    • @jafinch78
      @jafinch78 2 года назад

      @@EnigmaNL Sure, the healthcare system is shady at best in the U.S.. Don't get me wrong, there are excellent centers and people scattered among the ruin of what at least I feel intended better at one time. I'm saying more in general and I may be wrong having experienced backlash and gaslighting from some related to concealed wireless assault weapons and lack of forensics.
      The mass production mind set, I think, along with the grandiose profiteering motives of those delusional and tangential to survival requirements... seems to have biased and skewed the intent of the health care systems. Doesn't help them being "professional" licensed, degree'd and titled businesses in the U.S., i.e. expert vs profiteering intent. Like the next most corrupt "pros," the Jurisprudence Doctorates, who might be better at compounding and concealing their researchers being the gross frauds and cheats maybe.
      Then again, the history of the Knights Hospitaler and their Hospitals may be more what has modern and historical influence with the Catholics/Jesuit/Maltese sacking the U.S., so if you're not familiar with... when those knights weren't running hospitals, they were out being mercenaries and pirates creating their staff hospital business.
