Big respect to Jeff for singing the original intonation which is the best and hardest. On the Inspiration album with Malmsteen, he sang in a lower voice and, in addition, his voice was in much better shape than it is today. So the respect is even greater!
40 years ago I heard this song and since then I have been a fan of hard rock. Wonderful performance. The guitarist played almost like Blackmore. I especially liked the ending with a real violin.
Jeff is still great, when he was younger he was perfect. Age comes to everyone and that's why those who don't know him end up criticizing him. I recommend that your friends listen to this same song that Jeff Scott Soto recorded with Yngwie Malmsteen on the 1996 album Inspiration and analyze his performance! The guy is a Monster!!
I absolutely love this song. Such a great performance by all. I am confused by Billy Sheehan's double neck bass. They both have 4 strings, same pickups so I don't understand the purpose. I have been a bass player myself but have been out of it for a few decade so please for give my ignorance.
From a musical perspective, this DVD is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I live their original material, but the covers are spectacular. Their version of Comfortably Numb is the best I've ever heard, Bumblefoot is an amazing player. Shame they've split up now that Portnoy's gone back to Dream Theater, although that in itself is brilliant, going to see them in October in London, can't wait.
One of the best arrangements in Rockmusic. With the voice of 'Ronnie James Dio' it would be magnifique. But these vocals are good to. A shame that original recording-sound on 'Long live Rock'n'Roll' was too bad. Martin Birch was sitting on his ears 😢 ...best regards, U.Ri. ™
Yes, Dio was one-of-a-kind. His voice was more dramatic, expressive with so much feeling. He can paint a visual picture with his voice. Jeff Soto has great technique but lacks the feeling
I inderstood why I loved and hated Blackmore one more time. He was incredible with the guitar and the guy who dismissed with the keyboard. Post Dio Rainbow was a pop band.
Ron Bumblefoot Thal brilliant guitarist perfectly covered Blackmore's Solo Respect to you ❤
That violin in the end and all the crowd in silience. F* amazing.
I don't think they really cared about a piece of this arrangement that didn't include the "main" part of the band.

Covers are here just to show how DIO is great and irreplaceable !!!!!
Night of the revival of double neck guitars…. Great performance! A true hommage to the genius of Ritchie Blackmore.

Her certainly did the solo justice. The entire band/ensemble did this beast of a song justice. Wow
That was probably the best version I heard live!
What a great song.The Best!!!

I really like Jeff's raspy voice, it gives so much balls.
Great respect to the one who wrote this song. long Dead . . .. anyone remember him?
Which is greater,
Having the balls too sing this song,
Or the ball's needed too sing this song 🤔🤘
Love that Ron did not butcher the solo like Malmsteen did. He really did it justice
fKN Incredible, i wanted to find one silly thing to complain about here but everybody on that stage was amasing.. !
The great cover 🤘🤘
Mick Portnoy in heres😁👏👍

A worthy rendition of a timeless classic.
Muito bem tocado e interpretado. Parabéns.
Dio é o cara!!!!

One of the basses is tuned as if it were a 6-string bass.
So mystic and great cover great voice brilliant
Wow, just wow.... Absolutely the best version hands down. 👏👏👏👏. Top notch musicians, all of them.
Jeff's vox on this one....damn
bravi veramente. Ottima cover !!!!
Great performance!!!
What a Sound What a Cover ⚡🔥👊😎🤘
I'd love to see this band live. Holee smokes
Ritchie Blackmore

A faithfull cover with orchestra addition...!
Man, JSS still had the pipes! Pretty damn good cover!
Amazing cover of a pure classic
That sweet violin...
Nice work. I love this song.

"A memory that rings a bell. A bell that rings like an idea"
Respect..!!!
Superb arrangements. Very well done!
A very respectable version. I believe soto did this song with malsteam earlier.
Especialmente bueno el concierto
Fantastic version!!!
Excellent 👏👏👏
Real good cover…
Damn, that was great !!!
Perfeito !!!👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic
They pretty good. They should have started a band or two back in the day.

WOW.
Beautiful voice but Ronnie is Ronnie he has great melody rock voice
Yes, Dio was one-of-a-kind. His voice was more dramatic, expressive with so much feeling. He can paint a visual picture with his voice. Jeff Soto has great technique but lacks the feeling
Ronnie has the voice of a lion !
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏....🤘
Jeff Scot Sotto is amazing singer....and good drumer, hahahha
Incredible performance✌️
😳
filmed in an ampitheatre built 2000 years ago.
*falls from my chair*

RONNIE JAMES DIO RUUUUULES.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fuck me - that’s a serious cover
Jeff toils in this tone. It is too high for him
Serrenian flag...portnoy beat..
Dio.
The vocalist is an offense to Dio
Dio fanboy here. This singer did amazing, it's just Dio who is impossible
@@EdoSynysterfan I don’t care what your opinion is
@@il_giova_tetsuya sing it yourself if you can then
@@EdoSynysterfan go to your mommy
Vocalist straining a little..did well though.
Terrible....should have left it well alone.
When pig sing , they sound like this.
Vocalist is so bad.Dio is Dio
I agree...
Should try axl rose
Bravo R. J. Dio.
