Gumption! Yes! I like to do things my own way too sometimes! lol...yesterday I saw my stickers in Scotland and now they are in Montana...woo hoo! Thanks for the shoutout!
@@PurpleOnThree - Ya. It was a tough day. I stopped every 30-40 minutes to get more fluids and wet down all my gear. I didn't film anything, since I was just taking the freeway the last bit home. It was one of the harder days I've ever done on a motorcycle. That kind of heat is just tough to deal with.
Hey DeweyRides, Hope all is good with you. What a road! I will have to put this one on my list! just wow! Can't believe it was 100F, wow, it looks nice and cool with the mountains and the rivers! Great riding, views and videos! Cheers and safe riding!
@@DeweyRides Hey Dewey, Thats weird, I wonder why I was held up for review. I knew youtube didn't like me particularly. lol Cheers and safe riding Dewey! P.S. I figured out why there was gravel on the road in certain places or roads. I was mentioning to my wife about what I mentioned to you, and she told me that they put sand mixed in with the salt to create better traction on ice, thats why theres gravel, or sand on some roads and in places the cars haven't tracked over. The salt gets washed away but the sand remains. Makes a lot more sense to me. I'm not from here, I had no idea.
I heard about Lolo Pass several years back, it, along with most of the other roads you ride, have been on my list ever since! Thanks for sharing this! Thanks for the shout out as well!! Pretty cool I have a sticker on a road I really want to ride!!! I'm still planning on catching up with all the other videos you have done in this trip .... Take care Dewey!!
Lolo is pretty, and is good, but being used to the Blue Ridge parkway, we would need to take you on a few of the other roads to get you a real chance to have fun. All you East Coast folks need to make a trip out West!
@@DeweyRides Gotcha. But if I'm retired when I want to, then it doesn't matter when I get to check it all out! Such a vast country, it's going to take a long time to see it all anyway!
Winding road next 99 miles! I have never seen a road like that, so I guess I will have to get myself there ...140 miles of twisties!! Wow!
It would be a wonderful Spyder road. It's pretty scenic as well, there is a reason it end up on most lists for best motorcycle roads in the country.
Gumption! Yes! I like to do things my own way too sometimes! lol...yesterday I saw my stickers in Scotland and now they are in Montana...woo hoo! Thanks for the shoutout!
Thanks for sending stickers! Sorry it took so long. I actually filmed this is in June, but I had so much footage it took until now to get it released.
@@DeweyRides that's ok! No worries at all!
That is one cool sign and road!! We need to ride that road!! Thank-you for the sticker show and shout out!! 💥💥💪💪👍👍
If you and PO3 get that far west, I'll happily show you a bunch of great roads to go ride!
@@DeweyRides You can count on it!! So many roads, so little time!! 😂💯💯
Wow...that was hot!! I have ridden up to 97 and I thought that was a bit warm...Yep, much cooler with my jacket on...
It was brutal. The next day on my way home, it registered 115 on my gauge. We set an all time high temp for Portland the day I got home.
@@DeweyRides 🥺 oh my .. That sounds terrible! Glad you made it safely home!

Man that was a HOT one!!! 😲🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was! I ended up getting a hotel room instead of camping. All I wanted was AC.
@@DeweyRides I can see why!! I havent ridden in temps over 100.....YET!! 2022~~
I hope you don't have to. That hot, it because a test, not as much fun.
Love riding along rivers and streams...looks so pretty!
Yes. It makes for great places to stop and stretch and take in the sights.
I really enjoyed this video and the way you produced the content!! I am now a new sub!! 🤗👏👏👏💯
Thanks. I appreciate it.
That whole road just sounds like a beautiful ride!
It really is.
great journey... very nice scenery
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the comment!
Another stunning views!!! Loved this road \m/ well done Dewey! And I learned a new word: Gumption! Thanks!!!
It isn't used much anymore, it is sort of an old word that went out of style. Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello Once again...I've heard a lot of good things about the Lolo Pass. It's on the bucket list for sure.
It is a fantastic ride. I think there are better riding roads in the area. But Lolo is so long and fun, it is a must ride for everyone.
Heck yeah, 99 miles of twisties... 😎🤙🏻
It's a good way to spend a morning. That is for sure.

This ended up in my held for review section. Sorry for not responding. Yes it was really freaking hot. We set all sorts of record highs that week.

Such an awesome place to ride.
It's ADV bike area. There are tons of unpaved roads through there that are amazing!

@@DeweyRides 2023, God willing, I'll be retiring, let the travels begin!!
2023 might be bad timing for me. More on that later.

Gret views, as ususal!
It is hard to imagine anywhere being 100+ degrees this time of year. My last ride was 37 degrees and it was rough. 🥶
Ya, I did mention that was filmed in June. That road is likely snowed in and closed now.
@@DeweyRides I must have missed that part and got laser focused on you needing to wet down your gear to stay cool
@@WaltInPA - All good. Yes, 100 is a far cry from weather now. Hard to imagine it was that hot not that long ago.
nice chasing !!!
Thanks for watching!
I miss Lolo Pass, especially cause I pooped on a rock on the side of a road on there lol.
Luckily, I did not find that rock. Hahaha. Ya it's good, you need to make another trip up there!
@@DeweyRides Hopefully I get to go up there next year for our gathering, but with my management position, we will have to see
It would be great for you to make it again!
