I miss my calico Rosie. She died June 14, 2015 from kidney failure. She was quite expressive and loving. She would tap my shoulders when I was reading, insistent that I read out loud to her. She was very well read and partial to mystery novels with my sound egfects...

Exactly! Our kittens do actually talk to each other all the time. It's mostly Mojo trying to get Scout to play with him. I swear he taunts and practically yells at her if she doesn't cooperate. They're so funny :-)

I kinda teared up when I saw the clip of an owner talking to their siamese cat like "oh no, what happened then .... really?" I always did that with my kitty, sadly she died three years ago.
My Siamese used to have this special silent meow. I still miss him.

Yes I know the feeling of a passed friend. I think my cat cussed a lot because he was around my dad a lot. So you knew when he had a bath or a vet trip he would me or angrily. He died the 9th of December.

haha what?! (coming from fellow Scandinavian) When they turn their head it could mean a lot of things. Sometimes they are just not interested in you any longer or purposely ignoring you. It also means that they are relaxed and just want to be left alone. In this instant, I think it meant she was feeling abashed or "told off" or perhaps a little annoyed, so she turned her head.

This is nothing. My tabby/ocicat used to actually change her voice tone and type of sound after every question, like she understood conversation. Sometimes it was clearly a question, other times it was a statement, etc. She had the full range, lol! I miss her so much...

I thought I was the only person having two way conversations with my cat until I took her to the vet for her vaccinations & the Vet started "mow-ing" back at her. I was very reassured & so was my cat. That vet lady is so nice! She never once judged my cat for getting scared & pooping on the table or for burying her head in my armpit to hide, she just let me hold her until it was all over & then thanked my cat for being such a good patient!

I have a seven month old red tabby Persian and he is quite the talker! Sometimes we have conversations like this, and my brothers think I'm completely crazy for that. :) Sometimes he communicates without meowing too. Like, when he wants treats he jumps onto the shelf and hits them off, it's pretty hilarious. :) Cats are the best!

You got that right!!!!!! I had a Tonkinese kitty (half Siamese, half Burmese). She was WAYYYYYY smart, almost too smart! lol Talked my ear off, destroyed things, clawed carpets, peed in my closet a couple times. I could never have a bag of Smartfood popcorn without her demanding I share some. Demanding. She never let me sleep a night full-through. Bit me a lot, for no reason I could discern. Yet she stayed near me all the time. All the time.........even jumped on the toilet as I sat there! Despite all that, I miss her all the time.
My old boy Tigger would sit at the top of the steps and meow like crazy waiting for me to go to bed. And when I got home he'd always be right there doing his little old meows. Boy do I sure miss him. I now have Charlie and he is just a bunch of squeaks and meows. Sometimes he opens his mouth and nothing comes out haha

I absolutely love when our fur baby cats talk to us. My baby Mistress was 16 yrs old when she died. I was completely heartbroken. She had many different meow vocalizations and was very loving. She'd butt my hand with her head so I'd pet her or pick her up. I still miss my fur baby!
