For me there is no doubt, it is the best Cubase channel on RUclips. You do excellent work and fantastic product promotion.
And on top of that you get to the deepest secrets of the application.
    Thank you so much..

I've never really used it but for tests. I'll give it a new try, following this video.

Thank you for posting this video. Every time I view your video, I gain a deeper understanding of Cubase. P.S. Is there a method to initially record the rhythm with a single key, and subsequently adjust the pitch to match that rhythm using midi input?

yes sanjay,,, in the drum and key editors there is a button for MIDI input,, after you record a single key rhythm,, you can go back and enact that button on the tool bar and any pitch you play is assigned to your rhythm,,, I have in depth videos on that process in the digital audio manual,,
      all the best,
      andrew

Hi, thank you for your great and helpful videos. I'm seeking assistance in creating an AutoHotkey script that would streamline filtering in Cubase's MediaBay. I have no prior experience with scripting.
Here's what I aim to achieve:
    - To be able to filter MIDI loops by instrument, key, and genre.
    - To filter audio loops by category, subcategory, tempo, key, and character.
    - To filter VST presets by category, subcategory, genre, tempo, and key.
Additionally, I want the customization of the filters I make to be saved for each selection, so that the filtered parameters remain individually saved for MIDI loops, audio loops, VST presets, etc.
Moreover, I would like to have a shortcut to switch directly between different selections: MIDI loops, audio loops, VST presets, etc.
Also, I hope that the filters remain saved in MediaBay so I don't have to reset them each time.

While it seems nice, I’m a musician. I don’t want software to randomly make doinky doink stuff. In fact , Synths are becoming less and less a part of my music. Soulless modern music leaves me empty. I give maybe 10 seconds before I move on. Somewhere real talented artists who can actually play an instrument are creating deep powerful music. If that is you, let me know where I can experience your music. I would enjoy hearing your work. Maybe someday, there will be a channel for human played music- other than a oldies playlist? Lol.

hi midnight,,, I hear you,,, thats the thing about music,, its a wide spectrum,,, my personal journey began as a dedicated musician,, and I've told the story many times about the day I heard Greg Ondo do a demonstration of using one finger to play a full string section on a song that actually followed the chords I was kind of upset at that after spending so many years of my life learning how to play and write specific parts,,, now I laugh at it,, and use the same technology myself.. as we journey on the road to finding our expression,, there are many turns along the way,,, by the way if you want to hear my days before I did plink plink,, check out Andrew Blake Condon on RUclips ruclips.net/p/PLpA4QaBDqxST8W6_pyQJYy5hNKL70Y1Nx&si=ySbIzmnl1rjvQUn4,, all the best,, andrew
