Good question. I would say just strum along playing the chords instead of the fingerpicking. Choose to focus on switching from chord to chord, and then start fingerpicking when you're ready ;) I hope that helps.
Thanks for your question. I'm using the pad of my pointer finger to push down on two strings (the A and E String). Bring your finger as close to the fret as you possibly can without being right on top of it. I hope that helps. Another alternative is make a G chord shape and slid it up the neck to the 5th and 6th fret. Curl your thumb over top of the fretboard to mute the G string. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank u for trying to help I love ur tutorials ur very helpful but I just can not get this Bb chord to work I’ve tried so hard over and over and no matter what I’m muteing or buzzing and I tried the G chord to the 5 and 6th fret but it didn’t work out either :(
You’ll get it with time, so just be patient. Bb is different because the string tension is greatest towards the nut. Just keep trying and don’t focus on perfection. Focus on progress🤗.

How the heck do you fingerpick so fast, keep track of counts and sing all at the same time! I feel like I have to count everything and can't sing while I am concentrated on counting. Any tips?
