"It's Cool" Lyrics
What am I still doing here? I wish that I could disappear I'm too damn tired to stand on my own two feet I'm not as young as I pretend to be My ears still searching for the hum The ring that rattles through my tongue Please tell me you can hear it too A glimpse of what I'm going through but with all I have to complain about, it's cool every day its all the same The games you play, the shifting blame, it's such a shame every day its all that same Stuck in a daze, wasting away Luckily it doesn’t phase me anyway every day it's all that same I can't feel this way forever but it still hurts like hell when I try to control my temper We cant get through this together So ill search like hell until I discover something better
Man this Track is absolutely insane.
Also massive shout out to Pure Noise for having such an amazing roster of bands. Like for real this label simply brings out banger after banger.
This song deserves more appreciation.
This just showes no swears words are needed in artistic bliss even if that isn't a narritive its noteworthy.
Most epic intro to a pop punk song Ive ever heard
like i mentioned in another comment, funny to me this is considered pop punk. i def missed like 20 years apparently LOL
@@EricBourassa easycore is pop punk
Most epic intro to an album***
@@ianhatol8136 I disagree. It's not punk at all.
@@lechucksghost tell that to the guys who coined the term -- New Found Glory
This song's energy is OFF the friggin CHARTS
agreed
I’ve been aware of FYS for so god damn long but never got into them. This song has got my attention. The build up is insane.
Best breakdown ever used in a pop-punk song! Period
i can't believe this is now considered pop punk. i mean, some elements are there, but as someone who grew up on green day and blink-182, i def see this as its own thing. or maybe just the next evolution of the genre?
@@EricBourassa So did I. Correct me, if I'm wrong, but I would call FYS a pop-punk-band. I mean pop-punk can sound like Blink, Green Day, New Found Glory etc. but also like bands such as FYS or Me Vs Hero.
Marco Schwarz they have a lot of metal elements in their playing. So if I had to call this some thing it’s like pop metal punk
It's called easycore
@@EricBourassa People call it easycore. Hit The Lights I wouldn't really say have a big metal influence and Set Your Goals only really did that with Gaia Bleeds and This Will Be The Death Of Us. Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Is probably the only band who does the whole breakdown and screamed vocal thing in most of their material. I really hope they and the aforementioned bands can come back at some point because unfortunately, the genre is pretty much dying out. The biggest pop-punk bands anyone really talks about are The Story So Far, State Champs, and Neck Deep. I can't even consider blink or GD to be in the genre anymore. Or even All Time Low and Taking Back Sunday.
2:50 was when I started to feel like something was around the corner...
Glad I was right.
THANK YOU FOUR YEAR STRONG!
Easycore is still ALIVE
You bet your sweet mguffins it is
This song gives me this feeling that I’ve only felt when I heard Steve Vai’s intro to Kiss on the bill and Ted bogus journey movie.
it is special. nice vai reference :)
Amazing track, would love a longer version of it, like 6 minutes
This song still gives me goosebumps. The build up to that nasty breakdown is absolute perfection
YESSSSS. The breakdown and ending to this song is legendary. This video is so sick
It’s not just cool, it’s amazing.
My favorite intro to any song ever. This song SLAPS. Massachusetts represent!
Killer song. New album is their best yet. I love every song.
This whole album is incredible! Great job boys
I haven’t bought or listened to FYS since the first album, however this album is something else!! Incredible track! Can anyone else hear Devin Townsend influence in that opening? It’s huge! Prog Pop Punk anyone??
Repping Title Fight with that tee!.. unless that's a boxing shirt, if it is, it's cool. 😎
It’s a Title Fight shirt. I have the same one
We don’t deserve FYS.
This is the best band on the planet
This song, its cool
Damnit, this needs more likes.
this sounds like having fun and trying the best at what you love. for them its this incredible music, but for others its something entirely different. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
That BREAKDOWN just changed my life!!!!
A perfect uplifting to quarantine.
this gives off the same vibe as In Your Honor by Foo Fighters, dope!
This song is the perfect build up to start the album. I got chills listening to it first time.
Such a good album too.
Damn these guys are still holding it down mad respect.
The guitars and vocals all the way through to when the drums kick in are just stellar FYS vibes. Incredible.
Not gonna lie, this song is WAY too awesome and intense to hear for the first time while high.
Dude..I've legit listened to this album 3 times non-stop while on a walk and smoke. Just hypnotic
Haha that moment the drums come in
I couldn't agree more with you. I was at the show where they filmed this video and I was not prepared for the shear awesomeness that is this song.
Maybe my favorite Four Year Strong song of all time. Y'all killed it with this last record.
Best intro track to an album
The most energetic and well prepared album of Four Year Strong!
This band really knows how to write a song. They are so fucking good it's crazy...
Favorite song on the album.
That breakdown will never not give me goosebumps. I've been here since the beginning, and their growth has been amazing to watch. RISE OR DIE TRYING! Much love to the guys and all the fans💜
Most epically underrated track since the turn of the century. Gives me goosebumps every single time.
its like three different songs in one, love it lads
Sickest guitar riffs of the album!!
This needs to be the opening track for all your shows.
The new records is a fucking banger. All killer, no filler
this might be their best song
damn that intro is epic, i like how it goes slow and calm and then it hits this brutal drop!
This album is life
"easycore is dead!"
fys: *hOLD MY BEARD*
good night moon when a fellow turnover fan is also listening to this album 🤝
Is that what this "pop punk mixed with metalcore " is called?!?!! I've been listening to this for 7 years and all this time I didn't know what to call it!! Now i can go look up more easycore bands. Thanks for the education! Haha
@@zeemancan3713 yes sir! Ez baby
@@alliedarky it's freaking lit
@@zeemancan3713 that's what they called it haha
This has literally been my favorite band since 9th grade (i'm now 27)and every album feels like it grows as i do i love it! Come back to Birmingham! This track is a banger!
Derek Alldredge 28 myself, been a fan just as long. Much love brotha
Been a fan for almost about 10 years there 😂😂😂
I went to see Bayside in 2006 in Pensacola, FL and Raneri got food poisoning (hey, it happens) and FYS stepped up as an opener and KILLED it. I've seen FYS any time I could ever since. FYS never sounded great at Warped Tour because the complexity/ferocity of their music mixed with the short timetable for soundcheck/setup didn't do them justice, but they always bring the energy. Best show I've been to (I'm 35... yikes) was in a small venue in Indiana (was called New Albany Production House) where there were maybe 200 ppl. FYS treated it like they were playing for 200,000 ppl and played their hearts out. I'm not sure if I'm a fanboy blinded by bias or if this band is something extremely special, but I have really enjoyed their work. Music brings people together, and the FYS fanbase is chill as f*ck. Love you guys!
This band is amazing.
This is my favorite song on the album. Dont @ me
This is a killer opener for this album.
Keeping the best sound ever alive. FYS strong fan 4 life here.
this song is incredible. like some dream theater level stuff happening lol. the way the song ends you're like WAIT WHAT SONG IS THIS
Four year strong.. You have the best breakdowns ever. It's a daily supply of dopamine for me.
Best song. That final is just insane
Everyday, it's all the same! ❤
This is the vibe I’ve been looking for such a banger
can't stop playing this song
it's cool !!!
So much love for the Title Fight shirt!!! Come back boys we miss you :(
Thank you for coming back.
I needed this!
The riffs on this song are nuckin futs
Sick Breakdown!
I bet this is awesome live
Yeah, this is excellent!
HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE 1 MILLION VIEWS AND 300K LIKES?!
this band has officially reached god tier pop punk
Excellent work on this album, pretty much every track is fantastic
that breakdown so cool!
This is insane.
Legends never die
Bryan McKenna Do heroes still get remembered?
Best song of the new album!
Epic Intro for an Amazing Album! Thanks
Soooo good, so dynamic. Instantly shot to the top of my list. I’m learning this when I get home.
Love, love, love this song!
Big love for this guys. The whole. New album is insanely good BTW!
i actually bought the SEE DEE from a RETAIL STORE. can you believe it???
@@EricBourassa Must have been super local. I'm definitely grateful to live in Orlando. We have quite a few local CD shops that could have it.
Jason LovesABR for real lol. Movie Trading Co I think they’re a chain???
@@EricBourassa Idk, I'm originally from New England/MA/NH area so I'm only really familiar with Newbury Comics and Bullmoose.
This rips hard afffff
This song, it's cool.
2024 still headbang 🤘🏻
Hard Punk
2:57 GETS ME EVERY TIME.
This is my favorite song on Brain Pain. Love it!
Just discovered these guys and this is the song I hear 🔥👌👍.
Que banda senhores!!! Come back to Brazil brothers!
Who else is still rocking this in 2020?
This album may already be one of my favorites of the year so far 👌
Am I the only one who gets tons of Balance and Composure vibes especially on that intro?
Cool, I'll be up around that time too. Looks like it's just a live video though. Amazing album. First favorite of the year!
Best album of 2020! I'm calling it right now!
Nah, it'll go to Silent Planet or August Burns Red.
These bearded doomsday devils did it again. Flawless record. Brutal song.
so i’m back at the start for like the fifth time today, and i like this album more the more i listen to it. this is their damn magnum opus
MAN U GUYS ARE SO FREAKING AWESOME
I remember seeing y'all in NJ with jet lag Gemini, while you threw a bunch of pins at me and told me to work as your street team. I will always treasure those moments, so happy you made it so big 🙏
This song is fucking so sick. Hands down the best music they've put out for a long time. Genuinely this opener blew me away.
So sick!! Loving the new album! 😄
Best intro ever. Unbelievable that this song even exists.
Epic!🤘🏻 Been listening to the new album nonstop for a week now!
I didn’t know pop punk power ballads existed until now
I was at one of the concerts in this video ! I can visibly see my friend in this video.
New album rules!
2:56 a classic
FurReal
The breakdown at the end is amazing... More of that please FYS.
so sick!!
Maniac (R.O.D) had the best Pop Punk outro, and they use the same elements to create the best Pop Punk intro for this track. Now they create this mind boggling outro breakdown. Can't wait to see the drum covers for this one!
Chris Blanck they’ve used a very similar riff in what’s in the box and I’m a big bright shining star as well. It doesn’t sound quite the same like it’s cool does before they start throwing in the extra notes but it’s essentially the exact same picking pattern with chugs on the open d and then fiddling around with the rest of it. The sound has changed drastically since rod but there are a lot of throwbacks to it for sure. The one lick in brain pain might even be note for note the same as a lick in tread lightly. They always like to reference in old material in a different way and I appreciate the fuck out of them for it
Joe Young definitely man, me too! They still stick to their roots but put it on steroids. They will never sound like anyone else and no one could ever sound like them. Four Year Strong is it’s own genre.
@@jagaloon14 Interesting. I hope that there are some guitar covers coming as well. Everyone was on their self-titled album, but I think part of their initial sound comes from their producers. I mean, no pop-punk band could ever work with Will Putney or Kurt Ballou. That would just sound weird lol.
