This is a beautiful song by Van Morrison that he has re-released in his older years. My favorite song of his is "Into The Mystic. I know that you both would love that song as well, and it has the same power to make you feel better for listening to it.
Probably thee most genuine reaction to this most beautiful song I’ve seen on You Tube keep on doing what your doing I’m slowly becoming a fan of your reactions.
After doing a Google search I found this. "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" is a popular song written by Scotty Wiseman for the 1944 musical film, Sing, Neighbor, Sing and performed by Lulu Belle and Scotty. It was their greatest hit and one of the first country music songs to attract major attention in the pop music field. Although the song was featured in the movie, it was not released by Lulu Belle and Scotty until 1947 (and then again in 1956). The first released version of this song was by Gene Autry in 1945. But another Wikipedia lists it as "Have I Told You Lately" is a song written and recorded by Northern Irish singer and songwriter Van Morrison for his nineteenth studio album Avalon Sunset (1989). It is a romantic ballad that is often played at weddings, although it was originally written as a prayer. It seems to be the same song written by two different writers with different lyrics. So make of that as you will. Still a beautiful song.
I really do appreciate the love you both have for each other. I share the same kind of love with my beautiful wife too. And what a great song to convey ones feelings!!
Van wrote this as a prayer to God - kept it obscure just enough that it can alternatively be a song to a loved one - that’s the genius - that’s why he’s Van the man
It is a beautiful thing to see you two so in love with each other and glad to share that love with each other at all times. And this is what the song is about. So fitting to see it displayed in your reaction video. Thank you! 💖💖💖

This is a beautiful song. It gives you such a good relaxed mellow feeling. It always brings back memories of my wife. Thanks for reacting to this song. There is a song called "Delta" by Crosby, Stills, and Nash that evokes this same kind of feeling. One of my favorite CSN songs.
Nobody else should ever be allowed to sing this song because you cannot improve on perfection it’s that simple Van the Man ❤️❤️ Give yourself a treat listen to him song Shenandoah with the Chieftains
Thank you my friends for such a lovely video, for being who you are and sharing with us. This is a beautiful song by a great musician (try "someone like you" or "brown eyed girl"). Thank you! Take care.
Van Morrison's recording career spans nearly seven decades. He is is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter & can play guitar, harmonica, keyboards & saxophone. In the mid 60's he was in the band "THEM" & their biggest hits were "Gloria", "Baby Please Don't Go", "Here Comes The Night" & "Mystic Eyes". Van Morrison later went solo & has had tons of hits such as "Brown Eyed Girl", "It Stoned Me", "Tupelo Honey", "Into The Mystic", "Moondance", "Crazy Love", "Jackie Wilson Said", "Days Like This", "Someone Like You" etc.
Van was well known as a grumpy performer depending on his mood. I saw him in Leeds and he never spoke a word all night. It was still a brilliant concert though.
Andre, I think the word you are looking for in English of what you felt is not "sad" which means 'feeling or showing sorrow; unhappy'. I think you were feeling "wistful", which means 'full of yearning or desire tinged with melancholy'. "melancholy" is 'a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause'. "Pensive" is ' is musingly or dreamily thoughtful' . The three words can be used together in slightly different ways to express the particular feeling.
A GORGEOUS Song!!!!❤ Van is magnificent Songwriter.

Sir George I(van) Morrison is a unique talent. My favorites are two of his early albums _ "Astral Weeks' and "Veedon Fleece". Music for a lifetime.

A great Van Morrison selection for you two. There's plenty to choose from. My choice would be Moondance.
Van was well known as a grumpy performer depending on his mood. I saw him in Leeds and he never spoke a word all night. It was still a brilliant concert though.
Lovely reaction. You should react to In the Garden by Van Morrison. A real poetic lyricist.
You need to listen to “Boz Scaggs”!
Rod Stewart had a big hit with a cover of this, and it was good... but this for me.... the best.
Van Morrison hmm 1 down 350 songs to go hes best ever, this is a decent song and its very good but he has many more and better and great songs.
"Into the mystic" next
Van is singing about his love of GOD..
If you heard it on the radio, it was probably the Rod Stewart version.
You may have heard Rod Stewart cover this, his version was very popular.
You guys should get a room.😂
I like Rod Stewart's version more. This is a beautiful song lyrically
This is a religious song, Van Morrison wrote it for his God. I suppose it applies to all religions and also your loved ones.
Just like most songs it's completely about individual interpretation.

Van a very religious man, wrote this to god
