Hi Mark. Hope you and Coral are well. We have gone through our fair share of awnings, and we just now predominantly use our Rollaway now. But we will use our 3/4 length awning if we are away with friends. But more often, it's the rollaway. We also have a sail awning. Brilliant to use when its just pure sunshine and no wind. We leave ours up with extra guide ropes Thanks for sharing Paul and Sarah
We have done a similar awning journey. We have only used the one on Desmond 4 times in Eight years. I would be tempted to take the canopy down at night just in case the wind gets up, or try storms guys on it.
Hi Mark. We once had the Isabella Canopy in a similar design to your new one. We left it up over night and all the time we were away. I did however have to take it down in the middle of the night due to sudden high winds. This design tends to act like a sail. Our current Starcamp air canopy has sides so we do not have to take it down at all. We were away during a bad storm in holland and the canopy just flexed in the wind and popped back into shape. Hope you are both well. Thanks Phil.🙂👍.
Hi Phil, thanks for the advice, I think we will take it down at night. We only got it for sun shade, so it probably won't get a lot of use 🤣 Thanks for watching 👍
Hi Nancy, we are all good here apart from Coral has her arm in plaster, hopefully it's coming off on the 20th and we can get back to touring. Thanks for watching 👍
The SunShield looks like it will be easier to put up and store. It won’t be all encompassing like your other awnings, but think you’ll enjoy. We have left them up over night, but if the wind comes up during the night, Bill had had to go out and put them up. We never leave the campsite with one up though. We’ve seen people leave for the day, wind starts up, and they come back to a mess with their awnings.
Well, we don't typically use an awning. But we do have a portable one that we can take and use if we want to. We are avid weather watchers and if it's not going to be storming or extra windy, we would leave it up. But too much wind and it might take flight and we wouldn't want that. So in that case we would likely either take it all the way down or at least lower it to the ground so it wouldn't catch as much wind.

Hi Paul, We don't need a big awning because we have no friends 🤣. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi Dave, I think you're right, Take it down at night and put it up again when or if the sun comes out🤣👍

It's so simple to put up and down, I think we will err on the side of caution and pack it away over night. Thanks for watching 👍

We got something this simple so we can easily take it down, I think that's probably our best option. Thanks for watching 👍
On the odd occasion we have ours up, we leave it up overnight.
If I can get it up, it's staying up🤣🤣🤣
