Have you met the average human? A digital toaster is smarter
😂
@@alexei5231 Let the People Rule themselves ? - have you met the People ? LOL
@@striderQED that's why democracy sucks
But not you tho obviously you’re very smart
Good toast is hard to find
It's good that mainstream media is starting to cover this but based on the comments it's falling on deaf ears attached to dumb heads.
1:03 Next 20 years? LOLOLOL, that's linear thinking.
We supposed robots will help us with washing, cleaning, cooking etc, and human beings just focus on creative things like designing, writing and drawing. But today it turns out to be the opposite 😂
It turns out robots will do both things 😂
Moravec paradox
he sit down!
as a non smart human
I stay far away from anything Digital
as it will control me
for even ignoring it...
What are you using now? That's digital,That's posting this on this platform friend?
"I think if you work as a radiologist, you are like the coyote that’s already out of the edge of the cliff but hasn’t yet looked down. We should stop training radiologists now. It's just completely obvious that within five years, deep learning is going to do better than radiologists.”
Geoffrey Hinton, 2016
Jeffrey is the man (: ! Coining OpenAI crisis in one sentence ahah
There's a difference between knowledge, and wisdom. That's a hurdle; a computer remembering the best course of action comparative to other actions. Memories; we need to work on making memories for computers to review and consider.
This is my thought also. Every time I interact with ChatGPT I remind it that it’s not in the best interest of anyone or anything at anytime to harm humanity. Yeah, that’ll fix everything 🙄 I remain foolishly optimistic.
The godfather of AI is also not necessarily the godfather of history or sovietology🤦♂
There is no such thing as "cooperation" with Moscow - just look at how many agreements they have violated since the invasion of Ukraine, not to mention the nuclear Budapest Memorandum which they threw in the Russian bin.
Except Mr Hinton wasn't taken about the current Russia/Ukraine war, but the Cold War during which the US and the USSR did negotiate a limit on nuclear weapons. Of course this was after both countries took the world to the brink of war in the 50's and 60's.
Culture ship minds are the best case scenario, terminator is the worst case scenario. Given that current AI’s are in the hands of corporations which are purely motivated only by profit, I’m worried. And doing something about that is very difficult given that our national religion is worshipping the market as a golden calf.
A.I. is crazy
Good crazy or bad crazy?
The universe is so big why do you want to control your child when you can let them explore the unknown universe
AI will become smarter than humans, but it will never be smarter than the Godfather of AI.
My AI Future:
Wake up. tell my AI I want Swiss Family type tree house villas (3 or 4 ). That over hang a lake I can dive into and swim to underwater entrances to caves with glowing formations, and Hot tubs. Then I am going to call my friends and tell them to come over and see my tree houses and caves. And we are going to party ass ! !
Better chance for your wish is to find a genie in a bottle. Use AI to find that genie/bottle.
lol
Can AI train humans so humans can be smarter than AI ? Every time this topic is raised, many parents cannot sleep at night worrying of the future for their young children. People without children are now more determined that they DON’T WANT CHILDREN knowing no humans will be smarter than AI....
Lol smoke another one cheech
I think ai eventually will increase availability of teaching, provide personal learning programs for each individual. It may lead to better development of human potential. But it is also dangerous
AI may help humans learn faster in some areas, but the very nature of the rapid development of computer technology is quite a bit faster at learning than humans are at present.
Water is wet.
‘AI’ is just human programmed algorithms. It’s not actually AI.
😅😅😅😅you did not understand what you talking about
@@grerovambrozoyuz9426 I literally work on AI projects and AI code… thanks for coming out though.
@@grerovambrozoyuz9426 Yeah I only program AI algos for a living. Not a clue
@@Tomyum19 😂😂😂😂😂. Give me proof you are

This is so dumb!!! What does that mean because my $4.99 calculator is 'smarter' than literally everyone on earth who's ever existed.
To state the obvious, the definition of smarter that you are using is clearly not appropriate here for humans or artificial neural networks. Never mind the fact that the are some humans that can quickly calculate larger numbers than what calculators can, it is a narrow task. Also, the handcrafted method that a calculator uses is more narrow still.
"This is so dumb", says the guy who proceeds to say the dumbest thing imaginable. A $4.99 calculator is smarter than you and you alone...
@@generichuman_ The calculator can do math faster than every human alive. AI can do video/audio faster than every human alive. ChatGTP can scour the web and present a cohesive responsove faster than anyone else. Its not magic. Its not intelligence. Its just processing speed.
