Excellent video
Love this , great colour
What a great little car! Mk 1 mini - the ribbed radiator and the stick out door hinges - and best of all the rope handle door release and the sliding windows! Great to see this converted to electric - and a bit more oomph to it than the old 850 lump! Thank you for sharing.
Yes we love it too Dudley thank you for your comments
Question? why did you not put the batteries under the rear seat, would give better weight balance/
Love the charging point under the rear registration plate. Nicely done
Thank you Classic Mini
That mini looks great and a tidy conversion so far. Can't wait to see it in action 🤟⚡👍
Greta job, what a beautiful cheeky looking car 😊and the best things it looks original, I think 160 horses is more than enough for a mini, seen others with 300 horses, but that is just ridiculous and even dangerous in the wrong hands ! no I love this car.....Perfect.
I would like to have this in the Philippines.
"Define 'interesting'."
"Oh god, oh god we're all gonna die."
Great conversion. How did you get on with DVSA CEC 100.01 test & the DVLA IVA test. How did the insurance company react to this.
What motor and reduction box are you using?
It's going to feel a bit un-mini-like to drive with all that weight in the rear.
Fantastic work! I'd love to know if it's possible for you guys to send the components for a client to retrofit themselves or if you work with a client to utilize space that they might have available in a project? I may be working on a Broadspeed mini that could offer more space.
Who on Earth would do that to an original 1960 Austin 7? A Russian? No A-series, no Mini.
You can't reason with them, the only good thing about it is that another mini is saved from scrap, I hope they keep the original engine too to put it back in the future.
As you can buy a brand new Mk1 shell and parts will the conversion compete with a new Mini as I know which one I’d prefer 👍
Hi,
Are you currently supplying this kit? If so where can I find details of how to order?
Ian.
😎👍
How mutch is the fish?
What motor is in it?
It seems with a lot of these modified cars that they seem to go like rockets! Is this right?, is this safe? It seems that there is no correct application system...such it & see, let's guess!! Why not guess a bit smaller so that the cars performance is more in line with the standard car. This must have alsorts of benefits in terms of cost savings and the amount of batterys being used and of course weight reduction . You might even get your boot space back. I think we got to be careful about the development of theses cars to ensure they are safe and so don't get branded otherwise and get banned...having said all that, it is a superb little car that you have. Good luck.
This car when finished will need an IVA test and an mot. If the power you are claiming is correct surely it will not pass?
Really cool. I would be very interested in the smaller battery pack version. I am in the last few months of a restoration, and I was planning to get a Swindon kit in early summer, but would be very interested in this.
Please get in touch
Do you have a cost estimate on the kit with the smaller battery pack option?
What's the best way to enquire about these kits?
Hello Alex, contact Nick direct at eco classics, the link is at the bottom of the video description 😊
How can I get a kit?
What's the cost?
Sorry Peter they aren’t available at the moment
It would be good if you spelled your own website address correctly!
