It's so much easier to just fill up all those empty buildings downtown, renovate them; do what's right for the homeless and get them help,...Stop kicking them around all over portland.....

They aren't built for residence so no it really wouldn't..also the people that own them probably aren't interested

Why are they homeless? start there. If its addiction then get them help, if they dont want help then jail. If they need cheap housing for now then why not a tiny house? The village can have trash cans and bathrooms and showers. Rules, or your gone then jail if caught camping on the streets or using. Tough love is whats needed. No more coddling.

Where should shelters be allowed to be? Every neighborhood they try to install one sue them to prevent it.
