- I enter Kosovo during a time of tensions between Serbia and Kosovo, and I end up having to go through the barricades of serbian protestors to be able to continue my journey in Kosovo. Unexpectedly, the serbian protestors help me go through their own barricades, and they invite me to drink rakija with them. A difficult day ends up being one of the most amazing days of my journey so far.

Serbian people and mostly all people from Balkans countries are nice and polite and they have that human warmth ,so i am not suprised you got helped in Serbia !!!
Indeed, there is such a great human warmth in the Balkans.
That doesn't stop them from hating each other and claim territory from each other
Those Serbs are heroes!!!! May God be with them and protect them.🙏🙏🙏💪

You have obviously touched the hearts of the Serbs! I think they admire your courage and daring to make such a journey. Also, I think a lot of them envy you and wish they could do the same thing. Great people! You should return and run for office.
And they also touched my heart. I knew that Serbian people were among the friendliest in Europe, but I had no idea that they were that friendly and welcoming. Such great people!
@@KinoYves Thank you, for kind words.🤗
Gran país Serbia, los españoles no reconocemos Kosovo..es parte de la gran Serbia
Amazing greeting from the protesters. Excellent episode.
Greathings from Serbia! Come again and travel in all parts of Serbia.
Thank you!
But Kosovo is not serbia
@@powderskier5547 Yeah, kosovo has a seat in the UN, and not a part of serbia

Kosovo i Metohija are in my country and I have never visited because ... well we all know why. It will always remain my wish and one day it'll be free from all the bullshit, I'm sure, and I will go there and experience the beauty just like you did Yves! Happy travels!
amazing, you were actually part of history!
Absolutely amazing, soul reaching.
I am so moved and inspired that people share amazing views, thoughts and experiences in comments. Thank you Yves my friend to be the touching soul you have always been.
And thank you very much for your words, my friend Gourish!
How much tenderness in your grateful eyes with the Serbian Protestants, I heard your voice moved and I was moved. Thanks Yves 💗
I ❤️ SERBIANS BALKANS THE ENTIRE EUROPEAN PEOPLE. LOVE FROM 🇮🇳 INDIA. TAKE CARE.
Serbia is magical land, it maybe doesn't open at first, it depends also from the visitor, but when it opens it's something special... When you do good to people and make them happy, you will be at least happy as they are, even more, that's all the "secret" :) Come here and stay some time, we would love to have you Cheers
Lmao... only the first 2 min. are about serbia

“If it’s not good it’s not the end.” Wise words from a protester at the Kosovo border. You are a blessed man Yves, keep going. I wish for you

Serbians have a big heart. I'm glad you got to experience it. Thank you for your video. Hvala
Yeah, Serbians have a beautiful heart!
@@KinoYves yes you should have seen they hart during the war. I don' know any serb , maybe they are realy fantastik, but if you were there during the war to see what they did to the albanians, to the bosniacs...it was a nightmare... Have you heard about srebrenice? Or Racak? Now the border is closed because the albanian goverment wants them to have the same treatment they reserve to albanians. Change the licence plate of their cars. Serbian goverment already does this. Till they do it to albanians, the albanians have to accept, but if you even think to do the same to serbs, then barricate and war is...
its wonderful what you do, but it is not so easy to explain ballkans...l hope in future they will have a big hart and live the others in peace.

Serbian holy land.
Peu importe votre religion, votre apparence, votre couleur ou votre origine ethnique, ce qui compte, c'est ce que votre cœur tient et ce que vous faites dans la vie
All people in Balkan are similar and very nice,we have problems with each other because of politics and similarities on mentality.
On 11:47 when you told him you are going to South Africa, the guy said ,,the devil tortures him ,he is not right in the head,, but in the positive way 😄
😂😂😂
I love that he said that! It's so funny!
Most of the people in the wars are not there by choice.. Most are good, hard working, and helpful by nature. It is easy to forget they are also people with families like me who just want a good life.
"Serbian protestors help me go through barricades, feed me and get me drunk" - 13:49 the essence of Serbian nation! Give a Serb an honest smile he will give you everything! NOTICE: Stay alert while crossing the Albanian side of Kosovo!
Why, what is the problem with the Albanian part of Kosovo?I have been on the Albanian side and in Albania at least 10 times and I have never had any problems,on the contrary, I always felt welcome.Just because you Serbs don't like Albanians is not a reason to spread misinformations.
Notice? Stay alert from what, on the Albanian side (94% of the country)?
What kind of fairytale did u make up now, slav?
I am very curious if you will receive the same type of welcome in your journey ahead. Wish you all the best.
Thank you! I am also curious about that!
He will get and even more.Albanians litteraly erected Bil Clintons statue that tells ALOT.Also alot of so called neighbors consatntly and even RELIGIOUSLY are watching everyu single video that has Serbia title in it and then follow travelers videos who went to Serbia and then onc ethey enter Kosovo or Albania they instantly try to sorta outdone the experience teh traveler had in Serbia. There is a reason why many travelers eighetr if they go to Albania,Kosovo,Croatia,Bosnia FIRST they tend to avoid Serbia or just stay 1-2 days simply transit country and see stuff from the bus.Or if they come to Serbia first then otehrs then they always end up saying/reccomending to visit eigher Croatia or Albania and Kosovo.
Same thing happens with oru players especialy when it comes to prominent ones such as Jokic and Djokovic where as soon as they make history they immedietly put/claim them as their own BUT as soo as for example Djokovic breaks racqet out of frustration or gets usual negative press THSOE SAME poele spit, attacks him and start saying oh typical uncivilized Serb, ogh typical animal and so on.

Willkommen in kosovo franch Mann
One thing you must now Kosovo and Metohija was always part of Serbia it is the place with special place in our hearts, i am born in Kosovska Mitrovica also i have multietnic background my mother is Serbian from an old family that gives a lot of high priest to the orthodox church my father who is from also Kosovo is naturalized Albanian and his family is also very old and highly respected family in Prizren, so i know both side of storie called Kosovo, not easy to understand but i am proud of my background as half Serbian half Albanian, i live in Belgrade Serbia but that land belong to Serbia but also belong to Albanian but first mistake is after world war 2 have make Titio he make that a provence of Serbia and allow too much albanina from albania came to Kosovo, second mistake was Slobodan Milosevic that pushed too much nationalism and that result war and interfering USA and EU adopted that teritory from Serbia and so called Kosovo is not fully recognized because USA wanted that part of territory have a military base politcs man bullshit but you must know that people in Balkans region is hospitable evryvare, have a good and happy trip.
I definitely agree with your explanation of the situation. It is very sad, because Serbs and Albanians had been able to live together in Kosovo for hundreds of years, and now it's not the case anymore... and in the end, most of the Serbs had to flee...
@@KinoYves His story is full of errors/lies. The main one being:
He talks about "Tito bringing Albanians to Kosovo", while Kosovo was already Albanian majority prior to serb annexation in 1913.
Either way, I hope you will have a great stay in the country of Kosovo and if you have questions, feel free to ask.
All best,
-From *Mitrovica, Kosovo XK*
That is why there is a love-hate relationship with Tito. In making Yugoslavia strong, he ruined the south for the Serbs. I also know some Serbian women who married Albanians a long time ago, I guess not enough Serbian men in Kosovo?lol I guess their kids and grandkids "became" Albanians.
It was not a "part" of Serbia, it was and it is Serbia, the heart of Serbia!
@@albinh.3149 Not everyone is buying into your fake history

Serbians are creating all these tensions in the whole balkans, but when they see a foreigner, they act like good people, offering help to navigate through the tension they are responsible for.
Or maybe they just are good people and people like you are filled with hate and racism and try to blame everything on them
Hahaha hahaha haha ha my Frend you are very crazy hahaha
Kosovo has always been popolated by albanianas. In the ancient times they were called Dardans. In the middle age they were still albanians. Kosovo has been taken by force from Albania. The kosovars, were there when the indipendence of Albania was proclamed. Kosovars just like other albanians from other regions of albania signed it.
The serbian propaganda says it it the hart of the serbian civilization...it is not true...my grandfather was prom peja. He escaped from serbian genocide in the 1920...they were an ancient albanian family ...and i was born in albania not in peje. These are facks...we lived it. Serbs never lived this thing. Never albanian went to their home to push them away.. it's history...not propaganda...
