  • TransformingADH... - TransformingADHD.com founder Anders Ronnau gives insights into how to Transform ADHD from the Inside Out. ☀️
In this video you'll learn about negative self talk and how it affects your self-worth.
Learn about the woman, I worked with, that had inner negative self-talk that spoke to her with a horrible negative inner voice that concluded, neutral, objectively that she was stupid, dumb and not worthy of anything.
Obviously this degraded her feeling of self worth.
Watch the video to understand how she transformed the inner negative self-talk into a positive, constructive inner self-talk.
Please give the video a 👍, if you liked it. And subscribe to make sure you get many more videos on how to Transform ADHD From The Inside Out! ☀️
Also, YOU are welcome to visit www.Transformin... for more videos, articles and courses on how to transform ADHD from the inside out.
From almost 10 years of experience coaching and working with children, teens and adults with the ADHD diagnosis, I can confirm that people with the ADHD diagnosis are not broken. They are fine, and they have problems. Problems we can work with, and when we work with their cognition, we Transform ADHD From The Inside Out. Come join the revolution at TransformingADHD.com ❤️

Don't feel bad, I feel even dumber. I'm likely lazy (though I have 2 jobs, both in which I hate doing). I want to do things that'll change my life for the best but I continue to struggle with simple things as well. The only thing I have in my favor is that I have what my boss called a moral intelligence. She said it's one of her favorite things about me. Even though I understand what she was saying, I still feel like an idiot knowing how long it's taking me to do things I need to do.

It's the impulse control for me. Specially in social situations. I just told my somebody in the dojo my home address. And there's times when I say things without thinking and regret thinking shouldn't have said that that's mean. I don't know how to stop apart from practicing to be composed during conversations...

The greatest show of understanding I EVER received from with my large family- sister 11years senior, me 18 “mellie, I can’t understand how a girl as intelligent as you can be so stupid “ True story ! 35 years later- ADHD identified after working very hard to get my daughter’s obvious needs identified.

I cant even follow what you're saying in this video. I get it.. negative self talk comes from conditioning thats based on life experience - unfortunately for us with ADHD, our experience has taught us we're dumb compared to others.
Like I get it. But I can't follow the long explanation here. And so I still have no idea how to fix it. Even though the title of this video is fix it and stop feeling stupid. So I didn't learn how to fix anything, I just reinforced that I indeed have ADHD and there's no way to fix it.

Needed this- I missed verbal instructions multiple times on a phonecall with a customer service agent and I had to iust hang up when she began speaking to me like I was a child. It was like years of my work just crumbling down and I went right back to the self-talk. No matter how much I tried to concentrate I kept missing that one part because I got distracted with another thing that I had to ask

I dont deserve to be positive to myself. Ive always been bad at scholl, and ive always failed. I cant just get on with my life. This is the way i live my life in the future. Everything just goes to shit cause i cant focus or concentrate. I procrastinate. I cant be worth anything if i cant do anything righ. I get called retarded, and i know it's true. Lying to myself, saying that im worth anything, or saying im smart, wont change that fact that im stupid, a fucking dissapointment to my family and teachers, not able to do anything right

I read this and felt soo bad, immediately I wanted to tell that that’s not true, but then I realized this is exactly what I say to my self but would never allow anyone to say that about themselves because I know it’s not true, it’s a lie your brain makes up because of how many times your were told that until you believed it.
your worth is not in the things you can or can’t do, your ARE worthy and that came with you the minute you came to this world, no one is worthless, even if ppl like you and I happened to be taught to believe they we don’t deserve to be respected because of the way our brain functions.
I’m responding to this 1y later so I don’t know what happened to you, I hope that you’re doing better now.

I have ADHD and there's no getting around it...we're dumb and slow. We have deeper intellect but it's rooted so far down. We flat out cannot learn like people without ADHD, and most employers will not wait around for us to "get it". They kick us to the curb and all we're left with is fast food and Walmart.

@@karrZ-mi5km I have an IQ of 128, I just learn at a slower pace and a different way; but it always comes to me with 100% certainty. Employers don't want employees to be like that, they give you a week to train and that's about it.

@@karrZ-mi5km You need to give yourself more credit. You are very literate, structure your sentences properly and can easily communicate on social media. That's something to work with. Life is harder for us ADHD sufferers, but liveable. We just have to try harder, but that only makes us stronger in the end.
