- Covering acne and scars with makeup, or having acne and scars in general can be a really big pain. I've suffered on and off from painful cystic breakouts since I was 18 and I've always struggled with my self esteem because of it. I hope that I can be someone of a help to someone who is also going through the same thing. Your acne does not define you, and I hope you learn to embrace any scars or breakouts that you may be dealing with right now :) ❤️
I prepped my skin with niacinamide serum, HA serum, moisturizer and sunscreen
And before anyone says anything:( my skin is super sensitive so even when I don't pop my pimples they will still scar unfortunately.

hi
Hey are you not on instagram ??
@@kritikasingh6775 hi
@@MichelleGia its really fine girl , I do it to very often when I think its becoming toxic and really overwhelming
Take your time and than only get back on it ❤
I have sever acne like you once and struggled for 6 years I'm 21 yrs old now. I watched Liah Yoo here in instagram and I learned about skin barrier and other things related to skin. To improve my skin barrier I tried Snail essence and Snail moisturizer by Cosrx and it healed most of my acne. I also use the Salicylic acid cleanser by Cosrx and that helped me a lot. Salicylic acid cleanser is a bit drying w so you have to use a good essense and moisturizer. I wear make up too so I know that make up does not worsen acne.
@@kritikasingh6775 thank you so much for understanding❤️ you are so sweet, i really appreciate that🥰
"makeup is makeup and not skin" IS SO REFRESHING THANK YOU
no🥺thank YOU for getting it
this is honestly the most natural 'natural makeup look' i've ever watched, you are so beautiful and as a girl who suffers from acne similar to yours due to hormonal imbalance, the words that you gave made me feel better. so, thank you and stay safe! x
and you are honestly such a beautiful girl as well, i hope you always remember that❤️i cant explain how happy it makes me that i could help, wishing you all the best and stay safe as well🥰
Michelle Gia ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This literally made me want to cry because I've been struggling SO MUCH with acne and it is so relieving to know other beautful girls are too. Thank you so frickin much for making this.
now youre gonna make me cry plz, youre so sweet🥺🥺❤️i know exactly how it feels to be struggling and having it feel like no one else is, it took me a while to realize that i wasnt alone and you arent either, im here for you & i gotchu, you are beautiful in + out
I’ve struggled with acne/scarring for a loooong time so I know how you feel. Mine is hormonal and it sucks. I decided to see a dermatologist 3 years ago and had numerous microneedling procedures done. My scarring is 60% better now. My derm prescribed minocycline but I don’t want to rely on meds forever. I cut off my sugar and dairy intake in half and my never had a breakout since. Its going to get better believe me. Goodluck!
I just want to say thank you so much . I genuinely appreciate you being so open about your acne and normalising the fact that acne is normal and skin can be iffy at times and it's all a journey. This has really touched me and I'm just very grateful for you being so casual about this because skin is skin and everyone's skin and journey is different in multiple ways. So thank you for sharing some of your journey with us xx
Omg hi Theia! Thank you so much for taking the time to say that, it honestly means the world to me❤️ its the people like you that make me so happy and comfortable sharing this part of my life, and Im even more grateful for you for being so kind and understanding. You really made my week and I wish you all the best🥰🥰
Wow that concealer is such a good match for you!
omg thanks! i was struggling to find one for so long, i acc had to get the sephora girl to pick it out for me😭
I also have hormonal imbalace and i can totally feel your pain. Watching my hairless friends with clear skin has been really hard for me but this video helped me so much cause im really not the one. I just wanted to say that you are so brave and thank you for this video also you are gorgeous!
i understand you completely, it can be so discouraging to not have anyone in your friend group or family to relate to:( you are never alone tho trust me, the internet can be really deceiving so its hard to ever realize that, but acne or not, i know youre just as beautiful
You are so pretty. It was hard to even notice your acne cause I couldn't stop just seeing you, and how pretty you looked. As someone who is struggling with a lot of acne on my cheeks, I've learned to look past the acne and actually see the person.
omg eugenia❤️🥺 that is one of the nicest things ive ever had anyone say to me, you are honestly so genuine and kind, from that i already know youre a beautiful person inside and out🥰 thank you so much, im gonna cry!
Honestly
Just randomly saw this on my homepage and I have to say, I'm really glad to see more relatable cases on the internet especially in the makeup industry. Mostly because we have the same case like I had zero issues with my skin two years ago and suddenly I just had an intense breakout last year which was caused by my hormones. I really love this video, thank you for being vulnerable with us. Our beauty isn't dependent on the condition of our skin. Love you!!!
omg🥺that was like my exact situation it literally hit me out of NO WHERE😖so i totally relate and understand you❤️it can be hard to see that other people are struggling too, ive hid it for so long as well, so never feel like youre the only one:) im so glad i was able to help, and im grateful for you sharing your story, its brought me comfort too, so thank you ilyyy❤️
This is my skin rn I’ve been dealing with my acne marks since the pandemic happened glad to see a beauty blogger that aren’t scared to show that btw you’re so pretty love the confidence!!
girl you are literally stunning are you fr🥺i know exactly what its like dont worry❤️its so much more common than you think, so dont stress
Seeing pretty people with acne makes me feel better about mine, like I never think acne makes someone else less beautiful but I sure as hell don't feel like that about myself. You're gorgeous!
finding this kind of random video in youtube is like treasure hunting. this has got to be the most relatable and realistic natural make up look I've ever seen, it wasn't perfect and THATS the whole point, I enjoyed how genuine you are. Stay gorgeous!
your comment made me so happy🥺 it took me a while to realize that makeup will never look like my skin and thats all good still, thank you so much for your words and for recognizing that❤️ hoping all the best for you
@@MichelleGia yea Im still in the process of loving my skin and myself too, and seeing people who has the same struggle as me overcome it and having confidence enough to show their natural skin gives me tons of motivation. So so happy for you 💛
I'm having a hard time covering my acne marks and my cystic acne not only they are super visible because of their redness and size, but I can't also quite put a huge amount of concealer/foundation because it hurts/stings so bad especially when I'll remove them already when I'm going to bed. Thanks for this
no worries🥺❤️ trust me i was in the exact same position, mine were so painful and sometimes id wake up with blood on my face from rubbing my face on the pillow at night, so putting on and taking off makeup was honestly so dreadful. i promise you'll get through it and im wishing you all the best❤️
@@MichelleGia thank you! We’ll get through this ❤️
I love that you are such a real person on the internet and decided to be vulnerable to help other people. It really warms my heart. 🥺💗
this was genuinely so helpful. not entirely sure how to put into words how much better it makes me feel to see creators talking so openly about their struggles with acne. it makes me realise I'm not alone. thank you so much!
I love ur self-esteem talks, I relate so deeply to you talking about your insecurities and you are SO spot on about loving yourself always!!
I understand how vulnerable it feels to show people your skin when it's not at its clearest! I appreciate you doing so, because a lot of makeup tutorials are done on people with flawless skin and it's hard to know what will work on me ♥️
You are truly stunning!!! Thank you for being vulnerable and showing us what real skin can look like. I struggle with hormonal acne too and so hard to find makeup tutorials that show skin that looks like mine. Thank you thank you thank you!
oh my god i needed this! i've been dealing with acne & acne scars, and i was anxious because school starting soon, i didnt want anybody to see me like that. This video was a confident booster, thank you for saying these kind words, and thank you for showing us you can still glow even you have acne!! 💜
you’re sooo so beautiful before and after. I struggle with acne as well and I honestly do get insecure about it but at the end of the day it normal and seeing how beautiful you are with these scars helps me see myself that way
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and putting this video out there, I am so excited to you grow and win!!!
Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️✨
I just want to thank you for being so courageous to put this video up even tho you didn’t want to! It really helped me a lot!!! Also you are flawless!!!!
i’m so thankful for this video it made me feel so happy and confident even with acne and acne scars🤍🤍🤍
i love this tutorial, i have a lot of acne scars and most tutorials use a lot of foundation and i hate it but this one is just so simple and looks so natural!! ❤️
I appreciate how you acknowledge and embrace what makeup can do for a person, while also recognizing it’s limits and that skin isn’t perfect ☺️ I like your balance!
Thank you so much, I have really bad acne all over my face and this has helped me so much. This is honestly one of the most realistic makeup tutorials out there and I want you to know you are so beautiful no matter what, acne or not.
you are so beautiful!!!!!! i can see that your skin is super glowy and nice and even through the acne i can see it
This is the most natural makeup video I have ever watched. Also struggling with acne issue rn but watching you made me feel really really good to myself 🥰
Keep being this positive girl!! Lovee
your video just helped me, am going through the same thing and I feel like it just me. and people dont understand how my skin can be clear one day and not clear the other. Thanks for doing this makeup video.
as someone who is currently having doubts about wearing makeup because of acne, this means a lot🥺 thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video!! I always struggle to cover acne while still keeping a very natural look so I really appreciate this!
I feel you so much on this. I've suffered from cystic & hormonal acne all my life. I have scars, discolorations, hyperpigmataion, combo skin, so oily spots & dry flaky spots. I really appreciate your vulnerability, it's so hard to cover & harder not to feel or look cakey. You look beautiful, thank you! I hope you keep doing more videos like these for the "real" ppl out there ❤️
You’re beautiful, make up or no make up. I love how you do your acne makeup.
As someone with PCOS who experiences the same acne flare ups (along with a host of other problems), I feel you. When I was younger, I used to spend hours beating my face with layers upon layers of make up.
Nowadays, I go for a more natural look like yours because being a momma of 3, I don’t usually have the luxury of time to spend hours on my face. Surprisingly, I feel more comfortable now with my skin. And you’re right, acceptance from the people who truly matter, works wonders in learning to love the skin you’re in.
I am so proud of you, you are beautiful. I have had acne since I was 8, I'm 19 now, and I don't think I've left the house without makeup in 7 years. I want to be able to follow the trend of natural makeup but never felt like I could because of my acne. But this is one of the most natural "no makeup" looks I've watched and it really encouraged me as someone who really struggles with acne that I don't have to wear pounds of makeup to think I'm beautiful or even worthy of showing my face outside of the four walls of my room.
Thanks so much for your honesty! I have POC and I have had “good” skin for years but recently I had mayor breakouts and I’m feeling really bad and insecure and this help me soooo much ♥️♥️
You are so beautiful and amazing!! I also suffer from hormonal acne, its frustrating but like you said its out of our control! Keep doing you girl!!! Thank you for this xxx
oh my god. first of all, thank you for being so vulnerable and open about acne. it’s so stigmatized these days and I cannot express how thankful i am for this video, plus, you’re absolutely gorgeous!!!
omg🥺no worries and thank you so much❤️! i know exactly what you mean, being on ig has made me feel so self cautious, i had to take a step back from it for a while. im so thankful for people like you
Thank you for this!! You are so pretty with and without makeup ❤
thankyou for making this video cause i really struggle all these days since i had breakout. You are so pretty
you are so beautiful! also your presence is so calm and nice:) i really genuinely think that one’s energy and kindness shines through any physical imperfections. also since when did we decide skin imperfections were not beautiful in the first place?? they are proof of being human and living and that should be appreciated or at least normalized
That Fenty concealer really does a good job. I've never struggled with a lot of breakouts, but I have siblings who did, and it is really tough. You have a lovely, sweet way about you and are very beautiful.
I was diagnosed with pcos a couple years ago and boy, hormone imbalances are such a pain and really do mess with your self image. Thank you for opening up about your experience -- feeling less alone after watching this/reading the comment section xx
Love the makeup look and love how real you are! Gorgeous!!!!
Thank you, this was helpful and I love how soft your voice is.
Omg i related with EVERY WORD you said since the beginning!!!! I have crazy hormones and my breakouts are super unpredictable too. I be living my best life with clear skin and suddenly BAM im humbled by acne - and this happens again and again. Thank you for reminding me IM NOT ALONE in this battle against acne ❤️😣
that concealer blended perfectly omg
You are effortlessly beautiful 🥺 it's a really simple and natural make up but your beauty shines out brightly 🥺❤❤
You said this would be worth it if it helps one person, well, it helped me. so thank you for being vulnerable. acne sucks, been having the worst breakout in over a year. But this video made me realize im still beautiful regardless.
I’ve literally spent the last hour on RUclips looking for a way to do makeup with acne. Thank you for being that one video.
Nearly cried because I related to the feeling of vulnerability you shared, and how honest this was.
I experience the same type of acne cycles due to hormones/PCOS and it can really mess with self-esteem! Thank you for sharing and helping those w/ acne know we’re not alone
followed this tutorial this morning and you’ve completely changed my life!! thank you so much for sharing this with the world!! 😭♥️✨
Yayyy🥰!! I’m so happy you tried it out & I’m glad I could help❤️
you're beautiful but also kind, the fact that you did this in the hopes of even helping one person in the same situation as you ❤❤❤
thank you so much 🥺❤️❤️ i am so grateful that i was able to reach as many people as i did, i genuinely haven't felt this fulfilled in so long
Thank you so much for this! It's hard to show your acne on the internet, but going out of your way to normalize acne means so much to the people who are watching and going through the same thing. Hope to see more of your content!
omg no worries marina! and thank you for saying that❤️ thats all i wanted from this and im so happy i get to find such a sweet community of people like you supporting me🥺i didnt expect these responses for real, and im so grateful and happy that i could help
So wise beyond your years! I’m 53 and still struggle with acne. It took me many years to learn to be accepting and loving of my self just the way I am. You are light years ahead of me. Thank you for being so open and vulnerable and being real so I can learn how to cover and reduce the look of scars and in my case age spots and sun damage. TFS
This is honestly so brave, saying that it’s hard for you but you’re trying to help other ppl. Thank you sm
no🥺thank you! comments like yours are what make it all worth it❤️
I struggle with the same hormonal imbalance and you are the first person I see on social media I can relate to, thank you for sharing.

hiii Nathalia❤️❤️🥺! your comment literally made my day, that means so much to me, especially from someone who's been through the struggles, you getting through it gives me so much hope and im so glad to have someone like you here! wishing you nothing but the best🥰
So simple yet pretty. I also have hormonal acne so thanks for this tutorial ❤
omg thank you so much I’m a guy who struggles a lot with acne and I was looking for a natural makeup like this by so long🥺 tysm you made me feel so much better
Omg❤️I’m so happy it helped you out! Trust me the struggle is so much more common than you think, so know that you are never alone!! wishing you all the best on the rest of your skincare journey

Thank you. After a pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and a miscarriage my hormones have been going crazy in the past couple years so lately I've been feeling down struggling with acne, this is the most natural look for someone who doesn't want to look overdone but also wants to cover darks spots and acne, I really appreciate this, thank you so so much
You are so incredibly strong❤️thank you so much for telling your story, it means so much that I could help. I know how frustrating it can be:( but you are so wonderful beyond what your skin looks like. You’ve just given life!! Congratulations to you, you are an amazing woman!🥰❤️

you are stunning and bc of this genuine and simple vodeo , i changed my make up routine and have started embracing all my hyperpigmentation :") thank you so much and also COME ON YOUR EYELINER LOOKED STUNNING SO CUTE PLEASE DO A TUTORIAL ON IT ❤️
This is what I needed! A person with acne giving advice on acne related issue! I deal with same hormonal imbalance & acne jus won’t disappear for ME so this was very helpful. (I have gone through acutane 2x didn’t work) Thank you so much.
you’re so beautiful! keep on doing what you do🤍
Honestly you can just call it a natural makeup routine, your acne doesn’t define anything about you, you are so beautiful as you are! Love the makeup look!
My girl you are so strong to put it out!!❣️ I was and still am going through same "hormonal acne" ,they just suddenly break out and yea people just assume you are 'unhygenic' for something you can't control. And how you feel so BAD to even look into the Mirror! MUCH POWER TO YOU ✨for putting this video out and helping those who share your experience...YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL BOTH INSIDE OUT ❤️
Girl ❤️ you’re amazing! I am going through the same thing.
Hi
I love how real you are! I struggle with some cystic acne. I had it on my chin and nose and it’s still a little bit there but it’s nice knowing I’m not the only one going through it. I struggle with dark undereyes genetically and the amount of times I get asked if I got punched in the face/am tired (when I’m not) really hurts my confidence. I have to layer 4 layers of concealer throughout the day just to have them look barely better….hopefully i can learn to love them just like how you learned to love your skin (because it is temporary after all :)) ALSO I subscribed :) ♥️
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS ILY❤❤❤❤
you have such a beautiful smile! it feels so genuine and kind
that is one the nicest things anyones ever said🥺thank you so much❤️
you’re honestly one of the most beautiful people i’ve ever seen
🥺🥺❤️

You should never feel that way🥺❤️acne should does not make you any less beautiful, I can guarantee you genuinely are

That is one of the sweetest things anyone’s said to me, thank you so much❤️& you are so beautiful btw!!🥺
I also have hormonal acne and I get told all the time to just wash my face or get a routine when it’s obviously not that EASY!! I’m just glad that I can relate to somebody because I’ve been trying to learn how to do a natural makeup look so you’ve been so helpful. Thank you
im glad you get it too🥺 you dont know how many times people have told me to just wash my face or drink water, its honestly so infuriating. but im really glad i was able to help you, that makes me so happy fr❤️
Thank u, i love this video 💕 and u as a person, u deserve all the good
