@@kylemkeller it would have a ton of vignetting even on a crop camera like the FX 30 there is still a little bit vignetting so I don’t think it would work unless if you used two 2X extenders. One in the lens and one on the adapter

@@adamvisuals_ no it will have a lot of vignetting unless you had the 2x on the lens and the adapter that may work. Fx30 works with just a little bit of vignetting

What type/size/magnification-factor extender would be needed to adapt to a full frame sensor like the FX3 or super 35 sensor like the BMPCC6Kpro (would you need more than 2X)?
@@HI-SiteAerials super 35 is pretty close to super 35. So if there is in digital crop modes in the 6k pro that could work or just crop in post. You also could try the 2x on the lens and 2x on adapter. You would loose a lot of light but it might work.

The C on the iris/aperture ring means "closed" as in no light gets though. Its designed to close for a perfectly black image to black balance sensors. Additionally you cannot put follow focuses on the gears. Its the wrong pitch, cinema standard follow focus and iris gears are 0.8MOD. Broadcast lenses Canon are 0.5MOD and Fujinon is a mix of 0.5MOD and 0.3MOD. I strongly recommend anyone looking to get into adapting B4 lenses to watch this video. It covers which B4 lenses have the best image quality, how B4 lenses perform with a basic adapter, compared to a doubler and compared to a optically correcting adapter. ruclips.net/video/X6GVHwK3Ejo/видео.html
@@TylerCaseyProd yeah that is a good option that I recommend to people too who need to use follow focuses. Otherwise people can make (3D print) their own 0.5MOD gear for their follow focus and swap the 0.8 gear for it when they need to use it on B4.
B4 lenses are super useful tools. They are my go-to lenses for most work, although I optically correct mine for much much better image quality and sharpness wide open.
