What type/size/magnification-factor extender would be needed to adapt to a full frame sensor like the FX3 or super 35 sensor like the BMPCC6Kpro (would you need more than 2X)?
@@HI-SiteAerials super 35 is pretty close to super 35. So if there is in digital crop modes in the 6k pro that could work or just crop in post. You also could try the 2x on the lens and 2x on adapter. You would loose a lot of light but it might work.
Bro I’ve been looking for something like this. I shoot football and nfl films shoots on similar lens. But I’m pretty sure those things cost $10000+ lol. I’m going to buy and test out. You’re a life saver for this
@@empireproduction987 that’s a full frame so technically no. You would have crazy vignetting. You could try 2x adapter and a lens with 2x extender. You would loose a lot of light but it could work
The look you have at 06:02 with the vignette. I have this (but not sooo crazy and only when I’m filming Handheld) when I’m filming Open Gate 4:3 RAW on my Atomos Ninja V+ with my GH6 10-25 Summilux. Why it looks like this? Because filming Open Gate in MOV the problem isn’t there 🙄 thank you !
I bought one a few months ago and use it with my gh5, it was really cheap but its stuck wide open. There is a setting Ex-tele mode for the GH that will crop more of the sensor so you get even more range with the lens. I don't remember if it covers vignette in 1x but its good for going out really far in 2x mode.
The C on the iris/aperture ring means "closed" as in no light gets though. Its designed to close for a perfectly black image to black balance sensors. Additionally you cannot put follow focuses on the gears. Its the wrong pitch, cinema standard follow focus and iris gears are 0.8MOD. Broadcast lenses Canon are 0.5MOD and Fujinon is a mix of 0.5MOD and 0.3MOD. I strongly recommend anyone looking to get into adapting B4 lenses to watch this video. It covers which B4 lenses have the best image quality, how B4 lenses perform with a basic adapter, compared to a doubler and compared to a optically correcting adapter. ruclips.net/video/X6GVHwK3Ejo/видео.html
@@TylerCaseyProd yeah that is a good option that I recommend to people too who need to use follow focuses. Otherwise people can make (3D print) their own 0.5MOD gear for their follow focus and swap the 0.8 gear for it when they need to use it on B4.
B4 lenses are super useful tools. They are my go-to lenses for most work, although I optically correct mine for much much better image quality and sharpness wide open. I have a full playlist of tests using B4 lenses of various grades with and without correction. Some very useful stuff for people interested in using affordable parfocal B4 lenses The average person should be careful buying broadcast lenses and adapters. Some lenses look very similar to 2/3" B4 lenses, but are not and are not compatible with the same mount etc. People should specifically be looking for 2/3" B4 lenses and adapters. 1/2" and 1/3" look similar but are non compatible with most cameras and adapters

That zoom range is insane!
Just be aware of the vignetting. If you have a good 1 inch sensor camera, these lenses absolutely shine tho

Amazing Video, nice shots. Can I use a Full Frame cam with some Adapters to make it work? What do I Need to Look for?
Typically it would vignette a lot on a full frame, maybe if you did 2x extender and 2x on the adapter that might work but not sure
Useful info but double check what you are saying (Its APSC not ASPC) and your spelling for your videos before publishing.

to us who are using fujifilm cameras, what do we need to buy
out of all the things mentioned?
You would need this mount here- amzn.to/3Uoidt0
Which Fujifilm camera do you have?
what is the model name of the one you using?
Fujinon A20x8 BEVM-28 B4
mount. 2x extender.
“C” is for close the lens aperture
Thanks

I think it should be more like a 32-640 since it's a 20x.

RAW doesn't do vignetting corrections. You need to do them in post.

I was still able to put a follow focus just by using a snap on gear ring, not ideal but still works
