so fucking much history and the way he tell the company makes me want more reviews! developed by who? back in who cares! developed for pc no shit. and is a whatever was possible to market. what happened to all these companies?
0:10 Usually when someone has a clone of themselves they do a closeup as the door opens or zoom it in after the door opens. I did not expect him to jump in and chuck Christmas cheer everywhere. Well done!
+Lazy Game Reviews I disliked. I am truly offended that you went to all that editing trouble. I was expecting a "LAZY" review.. --- Just kidding, keep up the good work :)
What if every year, the clone that kills LGR takes his place. The real LGR died at the first Christmas and every year after that it has actually been a clone of Clint.
Can I just tell you how my day was completely made by this video? I had this program on my first PC, and I had totally forgotten about it until now. This brings back so many amazing memories. So many of your 90's PC reviews do. Thanks for being on RUclips!
"No, there really isn't anything like it, and there never really needed to be anything like it" It's time for a top 10 LGRism list, and this should go on it.
Thank you LGR, Christmas Kye was the game I played on my grandma's computer as a kid that I couldn't remember the name for. This has been bugging me for years, I am finally at peace.
Christmas and old computers always go hand in hand, at least for me, so I always look forward to you Christmas videos. Will have to try this program on my Windows 3.11 machine. Thanks for the awesome video!
I had this back in the day on my Windows 3.1 machine - I was probably about 5 or 6 at the time. The only thing I really remembered was the Kye game, and for many years it really bugged me as I did not have the disks and could not recall what it was called or find any information about it online. Thanks to this video I managed to track down a copy of Christmas Kye online, and I can still remember some of the level layouts despite it being something like 18-20 years ago when I last played it. So, thanks for the nostalgia :)
This kind of stuff was typical in these days. But I had the luck (?) to miss this collection. Please more of this early Windows samplers. The good old days...
I was going to make a witty remark about how not only do you not review games sometimes, but you're also not lazy and sometimes your videos aren't reviews, but honestly I wouldn't want things any other way. So keep doing what you're doing, you magnificently not-Lazy sometimes-not-Games sometimes-not-Reviewer!
Hi LGR, I enjoy your videos and I really think, from a comedic standpoint, this is your best work yet. I'm happy that someone cares about all the PC "classics". You're awesome and have a nice Christmas!
Oh how my sisters and I loved to change the colors on Windows 93. There was always lots of magenta being paired with yellow and cyan. XD It usually resulted in being yelled at by Mom (Dad is colorblind >:D), but whatever. I had kind of forgotten about that until I watched this video. Fun times. I love watching your videos! In fact, my daughter and I have watched the Katy Perry Sweet Treats review multiple times because of Sweet Treats House of Pain. Also, you have a Duke Nukem sim which is probably the best thing ever.
Great video! I've become quite the LGR fan, you have some of the most unique content on the web and your show format and line delivery are awesome. Keep making great videos!
thanks to you LGR i was able to finally find my familys old tradition christmas thing!!:D i use to play santa delievery as a kid and it was super difficult. ill have to figure out a way to play it again now for old times sake
SO MANY MEMORIES ARE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW Our version had a different set of games - still the matching one and Kye (which was awesome) but the third game was one where two elves have to run back and forth between conveyor belts to get the presents to the right locations. Definitely better than Holiday Delivery!
Oh my word, thanks for this! I've been trying to think of the title for ages! I used to love this the whole year through on my first Win95 pc. Just paused the video to comment and now I'm going to sit back and enjoy. :)
SimAnt! What memories... that was a great game and I loved it. I wish there was a reboot of it or something... same idea as me there with the Christmas music except I had the idea of playing Christmas music in the background while playing an FPS online. Slaughtering fellow players to the sound of Christmas music... yeah... it's the gift that keeps on giving. Or... it's one of the gifts atleast heh... Awesome videos as always here... informative, hilarious and enjoyable to watch.
As a child I loved this. I still remember it fondly even though now as an adult I can see it looks rather half hearted in design. Also really liked Kye, I still probably would play it occasion if I had access to, the Christmas themed version again I saw as a bonus.
great videos man, I love your channel and all the old school computer video game reviews and all the other stuff too. Really cool, and brings me back to being a kid.
Oh my God. Your Voice is awesome as ususal. I love the look of that "Christmas Disc" because it reminds me of the good old days in the attic.. sitting on my fathers computer and playing old-school games!
I was the creator and developer of Christmas for Windows 93. I thought this was a great review but keep in mind that the software was already 20 years old by the time this review was created. I didn't have any slowness problems or issues described in this review back in Windows 3.1, because most of the games were written in the x86 Assembly language. More modern computers 20 years later had to emulate the instructions set which made the program seemed jerky. The Pentium processor had just come out that same year and I was targeting that processor in my development. I gave up the rights to Christmas for Windows after the 93 version and the new owner created newer versions for the newer computers.
Love the new intro, LGR. Great video as always. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on A Very Postal Christmas, and the Postal series in general, seeing as how you're a fan of the Carmageddon Reviews. I'd review the game myself, but I haven't finished it yet and would like to hear your take on it.
Man, Christmas Clint was fairly aggressive with his bringing Christmasness to you. 2:00 Oh hey, that's the font for the titles of the Christmas games you review.
I know this video is super old but my family had Christmas for Windows lol. My sister and I really enjoyed playing the games and changing the screen savers
It's.christmas so I thought I'd watch your video again. I can remember using the fonts on the parents Xmas letters, the midi music, the screen saver...and that kye jnr game. Happy times
Played some great Christmas games for my Commodore 64.... one game about santa delivering presents by dropping them into chimneys. Can not remember the name of the game... but sure was my favorite Christmas game EVER.
Chances are, I've reviewed it. Look through my Christmas games playlist! Could be this one: LGR - Special Delivery Santa's Christmas Chaos - Atari 8-bit Game Review
Speaking about being ripped apart by spider in "Sim Ant" while listening to christmas carols... I vaguely recall playing some kind of x-mas addon (which I can't google out?) to the oryginal Postal with my pal years ago and then putting a carols CD into the CD-ROM drive in some kind of twisted revelation. Heh, I'll never forget the bewildered look at said pal's face :P Believe me, nothing beats Santa crying "Rudolf, help me find my leg" illustrated with chorus singing "Silent night" ;)
I do love Christmas LGR time. It's the best time of the year.
I agree I like his holiday videos it was funny when his clone threw ornaments on his otherself lol
wow it's Cry
sometimes christmas specials are the most fun part of the holiday
dayum, ouch and owwies..
delete your comment you rotten piece of garbage
Videos like this are the reason why your channel ROCKS! You turn something completely lame into comidic gold.
I fully agree!
:D
Thanks a lot, man!
so fucking much history and the way he tell the company makes me want more reviews! developed by who? back in who cares! developed for pc no shit. and is a whatever was possible to market. what happened to all these companies?
ITS MetalJebusRocks!I love your chanell as much as LGR.Oh and if LGR could just review the Quake series ,thats my childhood.
0:10 Usually when someone has a clone of themselves they do a closeup as the door opens or zoom it in after the door opens. I did not expect him to jump in and chuck Christmas cheer everywhere. Well done!
GuyOnAChair Thank you!
+Lazy Game Reviews I disliked. I am truly offended that you went to all that editing trouble. I was expecting a "LAZY" review..

Just kidding, keep up the good work :)
does LGR get killed off by one of his clones every single year?
how creepy
+room At least he does a pretty good Wilhelm Scream.
Clint could be a Gary Rydstrom client for Pixar in no time!
What if every year, the clone that kills LGR takes his place. The real LGR died at the first Christmas and every year after that it has actually been a clone of Clint.
Kind of like Angry video game nerd. Why does every game reviewer die to their clones?
They keep escaping from my lab, sorry about that.
THAT'S NOT TREASURE MOUNTAIN.
No, I think I've actually finally found it :P
Great name
Can I just tell you how my day was completely made by this video? I had this program on my first PC, and I had totally forgotten about it until now. This brings back so many amazing memories. So many of your 90's PC reviews do. Thanks for being on RUclips!

Your face at 0:14 was hilarious, as was the scream immediately before it.
Hmm, I shall call it the "Clinthelm Scream"... :P
WilheLGRm scream?
Good to see the old intro back!
I had this back in the day on my Windows 3.1 machine - I was probably about 5 or 6 at the time. hello cry
And, LGR, when you play something on Windows 3.1, i always see Christmas for Windows '93 in a seperate window. Glad you finally reviewed it!
I love these old Windows program packs.
I love Christmas!
This kind of stuff was typical in these days. But I had the luck (?) to miss this collection. Please more of this early Windows samplers. The good old days...
This is the first appearance of flerb nerp in the reoccurring Christmas LGR videos!
My goodness, the Christmas clone developed through the years.
"It's a thing, and it existed" -Best fucking review ever.
I was going to make a witty remark about how not only do you not review games sometimes, but you're also not lazy and sometimes your videos aren't reviews, but honestly I wouldn't want things any other way. what are your top 10 nosepicker cardboards from software boxes?
This one is definitely up there, but I'd also go with Hocus Pocus, Cyclemania, and Rudolph’s Magical Sleigh Ride
excellent
Blimey, this is definitely a nostalgia trip to some extent - I remember Kye...though not that particular version.
Clint, you sir, are amazing. An historian in your own right. Well done.
Fun times.

It's not christmas until you put on a chrtistmas screen saver.
Always had a soft spot for quirky software packages like this one, thanks for talking us through it! By the way, I love that shirt!
Great video! I've become quite the LGR fan, you have some of the most unique content on the web and your show format and line delivery are awesome. Keep making great videos!

As long as there is 1 LGR.
I need that SkiFree T-Shirt, so awesome
SO MANY MEMORIES ARE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW

That's what my version had too. haven't been able to find a copy of that particular release anywhere.
+Century22 I believe I have the original floppy disk here... somehow migrated to my house from my parents' house :P I'll see what I can dig up.
+Peter Metzger Great! Thanks
+Peter Metzger Did you ever manage to find it?
Oh my word, thanks for this! I've been trying to think of the title for ages! I used to love this the whole year through on my first Win95 pc. Just paused the video to comment and now I'm going to sit back and enjoy. :)

As usual, wonderful review. Loved the little skit at the beginning :)
Glad to see an old-style intro - I much prefer it. :3
great videos man, I love your channel and all the old school computer video game reviews and all the other stuff too. Really cool, and brings me back to being a kid.
Oh my God. Your Voice is awesome as ususal. I love the look of that "Christmas Disc" because it reminds me of the good old days in the attic.. sitting on my fathers computer and playing old-school games!
Wow kid Clint! Was just looking for some Xmas vids, and was surprised by the young looking chap!
that intro is a thing of beauty, my stranger friend.
I was the creator and developer of Christmas for Windows 93. I thought this was a great review but keep in mind that the software was already 20 years old by the time this review was created. i love that this video exists thank you LGR you are a legend
Serious farts! That is all.
Cool review!
Love the new intro LGR. Reminds me of your old intro with the xbox controller.
The first appearance of the χmas Clones
Your one of the big reasons i collect everything i do mano! Keep up the great work.
I've specifically poured myself some eggnog when I saw this video on my feed. CHRISTMAS!!!
Damn LGR has a nice place.
Do you just keep a clone of yourself in a cupboard somewhere with a Santa hat for the Christmas episodes?
No no, he has the power of *EDITING MAGIC!1!11!!!11!*
TheSqueakerKid I don't think you get the idea of sarcastic joking.
i do thats why i posted it like *EDITING MAGIC!!!!1111!2!!11* llike i was making a joke
I assumed you just didn't know how to use a keyboard properly, and that you didn't know key repeat exists. Actually, this is more likely, isn't it.
Maybe it's the clone that keeps him locked in his house at all times except to go to Goodwill?
Your voice is so oddly comforting, LGR.
Hey lrg I just wanted to say your voice is the most beautiful thing in the world
Awesome as always,Clint. Still going through your old Sims videos too :)
I legit thought one of my roommates was knocking on my door because of the intro. Congratulations.
Ooooooooh damn... SIM ANT! I forgot all about that. That was a goodun.
I think this is the first confirmed sighting of a Christmas Clone.
I loved Christmas Kye!!! My brother and I were awesome at that game!
Merry Christmas, LGR!
My dad had this when I was a kid, I remember using that Snow font all the time!
WHERE IN GODS NAME DID YOU GET THAT SHIRT!?
Love the new intro, LGR. Great video as always. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on A Very Postal Christmas, and the Postal series in general, seeing as how you're a fan of the Carmageddon Reviews. I'd review the game myself, but I haven't finished it yet and would like to hear your take on it.
My Dad bought this for our family computer! I was to young to remember the title of it! I loved the Kye game!
How cool is that, programmes like that are so much more christmas than any new PC games of today could be :D.
And this was the last December before the Christmas Clone suffered his grand decline of brain cells. Oh the memories. XD
Clint makes this channel so NICE!!!!
thanks for reviewing! had tthis in my family pc....and we loved it!! in fact i might dig out the disc!
Not gonna lie, if I were a kid when this came out I would have loved it
So happy to see the old intro sequence wid da "aaah..!"
Good damn dude, you've become good looking.
Not sure why it's unlisted, but good video! You continue you entertain.
Man, Christmas Clint was fairly aggressive with his bringing Christmasness to you.
2:00 Oh hey, that's the font for the titles of the Christmas games you review.
I remember the days when addons like this for Windows was a common place.
Someone else noticed the SkiFree shirt?
me
No.
You're voice is the best thing I've ever heard!
Welcome back, Xmas LGR! How I've missed you. Now to figure out a way to get rid of you after the 31st and bring back regular LGR...
Your intro is FINALLY a good remake !
Nah dude, that program is AWESOME! It so reminds me of an 80's Christmas.
I know this video is super old but my family had Christmas for Windows lol. My sister and I really enjoyed playing the games and changing the screen savers
Dear God the intro is awesome. Christmas LGR is so angry, he is like: "Get out! I waited the whole damn year to make videos!"
Happy Holidays Clint
Love the intro. And Christmas LGR scares me.
Wow, that brought back some memories. I really enjoyed playing Kye Jr.
BEST CHRISTMAS INTRO TO ANYTHING EVER!!
What's the chance of you being able to make a rar file and upload all those snazzy wallpapers?
It's.christmas so I thought I'd watch your video again. I can remember using the fonts on the parents Xmas letters, the midi music, the screen saver...and that kye jnr game. Happy times
Thanks for sharing this, was fun!
Loved the intro with the diet cola drinking. I missed that! :-)
My god, I just realized your beard looks exactly like mine *virtual high five*
Also, where did you get that shirt?
Love the new intro!
I love your videeeoooossss especially your christmas ones.
Merry Christmas!
Played some great Christmas games for my Commodore 64.... one game about santa delivering presents by dropping them into chimneys. Can not remember the name of the game... but sure was my favorite Christmas game EVER.

LGR Foods makes me hungry and want a pickle. But these xmas specials rock.

Your shirt SkiFree! Oh that brings me back...
So THAT'S where those random christmassy BMP files were from. I stumbled on them when backuping up my old graphics folders.
Hey Clint! Very joyful video! Well, maybe a little flatuating too, but that's besides the point.
Love your vids dude keep it up
