Ends alway grab darker. Demi was the way to go. You can do the 5N right until like 2 to 3 inches from the end. Go lighter like a 6 to 7N the last 2 to 3 inches. And then you can use like a clear glaze after shampooing to seal it in. Like a top coat for Nails. Salleys normally sells like a color sealer in a small packet by I believe Ion. 😊. This is a simple explanation. Did hair for some years. So color was my jam. Great job.

I was thinking about this the other day- Kasey let yourself enjoy your youth and dye your hair you won’t lose hair or bald due to 10 Volume deposit - just don’t bleach it. It will be healthy still just lay off the heat and let your hair thrive like that. You are too young to do a grey hair journey imo! You’re so beautiful Kasey and live! Do you always but every time I seen a hair update I’m like damn she should just go brunette so she doesn’t have to put any bleach in her hair anyhow ❤❤❤❤ live

Full disclaimer this comment is with full intention to help and not to discourage coloring at home. (Just wanna say that as I know us hairdressers sometimes get a bad rep for commenting on videos lol)
The dark looks great , but if in the next few weeks after you wash you notice it starts to get like a muddy green look to it you may need to reapply the 5n but also add a little bit of an orange/coppery color into the formula. Reason being is because when you put dark over previously lightened hair you have to reintroduce all the underlying pigments into the hair. If you don't reintroduce the pigments it can cause a green/ muddy color that lacks dimension. With that being said you did mention it had a little bit of a red undertone in sunlight so you should be safe for now. But there's a difference between an ashy color (which was what you intended) and muddy green. I'm only commenting this for future you if you have any trouble with the hair or for anyone else who may want to go dark from previously being blonde! :)

You should’ve have gotten a red colour to fill the ends since the ends are so light. You should also get a colour key next time it ensures all the colour gets squeezed out the tube so you don’t waste any.

sry but tbh sally girls don't know most the time. wella color charm demi 7a can give you a med ash brown if you let it develop 40 min & it won't damage or cause hot roots.

I always thought you looked great with dark hair. If you were to take a couple of inches off, it will be great for your hair, and give your look a little more style. Whatever you do with it, you look good as always.
Ok hairstylist here she did you dirty. In Sally's they have the brand Zotos get either a 4n or 4a with 10 percent developer since you want to deposit color not lift. No need for Demi or Semi permanent.
