Yeah...all star isn't the term you should be using here lol. All of the "celebrities" in this game together probably cost less to hire than Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk. Thank you for all the laughs and nostalgia sir. I look forward to every video. Don’t know if it’s in the works for you or not but would love to see you do a vid about mgsv.
Wish you all the success man.
If you liked Splinter Cell, I did a trilogy on my channel 🤷
This game gives me fuzzy late 2000's-early 2010's vibes.
not gonna lie, this actually sounds like a blast! would totally give it a shot.
Looks like this is one of those games that you can't honestly call good but is more entertaining than a lot of bigger games
They should have made this game a 2 campaign game. The first campaign is Travis and the second campaign is Chuck Fucking Norris!
You can actually survive the prologue and the stolen candy first mission. Is hard but you can actually survive those missions that you think that are forcing you to die
I really want to see a full 'no deaths' challenge run of this.
I literally watched a stream where the streamer passed the Defend the candy mission easily. Friendlies have health regen when not in combat similar to Payday 2's armor regen
I genuinely enjoy this game. The rogue like single player was a huge surprise to me. Plus the team AI in this is more helpful than the payday 2 ones were
oh yeah when i learned that you can carry two bags AND that they AI can carry bags for you i fell in love with the game its still a bag moving simulator in the end of a of a heist but its not 40 minutes only moving bags which is a miracle i hope PD 3 will do something like this to and have more stealth missions
@@pappo666 The Payday 2 AI can also carry bags.
@@Danganraptor True, but they don't help you secure the loot.
@@wonderbat1618 Not that you really need it, since it takes one second for the small stuff, and three on average for the big stuff.
Idk this game is amazing in my opinion. I was skeptical when the trailer first released but the idea of your story ending when you die sold me not to mention the shooting and guns feel outta this world. Turf battles, planning heists, robberys, holding up a shopping mall or hitting an armored truck 🔥
You get a like for that blazing saddle cameo
When Chuck Norris logs into a website, the terms of services agrees with him.
I saw a trailer for this game weeks ago and thought it'll just be some random flop, but this surprisingly looks really fun
How the hell did something like this get an actual all star cast, this shit's wild
All star is pushing it... More like has been desperate for a paycheck.
Yeah...all star isn't the term you should be using here lol. All of the "celebrities" in this game together probably cost less to hire than Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk. And Keanu being who he is, probably took a major pay cut anyways just because he didn't want to feel superior to the rest of the cast, and even still it was almost assuredly more than this games entire cast. Look i'm not disparaging any of the actors in this game, i'm sure they had a blast doing it. But even back in their prime they were B-listers at best.
@@smward87 Lethal Weapon though, Texas Ranger, Kill Bill, The Walking Dead?
All we need is weasel sal and Billy and we have the mob of the dead crew back together
@@smward87 back in their prime you must not have been around.
This was a superstar cast about 30 years ago.
i thought chuck norris was gonna play like a gruff badass generic sheriff guy but it just literally being chuck norris in the game is charming.
Damn it Gman, I love you! Not only do you do some great game reviews but your Kim Basinger Simpsons reference is literally how my brain is wired and had me laughing for a good 3 minutes after I saw it!
I really love all these "arcady", low budget simple shooters, this looks great!
It’s a 40 dollar game, if you see that price and expect this game to be like CoD, you’re the problem, not the game. I’d happily score this game for 30 bucks on console if it runs smoothly.
To be fair, with how much COD has made over the years....what they bring to the table seems low budget for the financials backing it.

Best description I’ve heard is. This game looks like the type of game someone would be playing in the background in a GTA cutscene😂😂😂
Shoutout to the devs for making one of the, if not the best ad for Payday 3 completely for free
How incredibly bizarre and confusing to have Michael Madsen and Kim Basinger play a character, but then Chuck Norris is... Chuck Norris.
He was also in the Reservoir Dogs PS2/XBOX game.
when the reviewers tried to review the game with chuck norris in it, the review website broke and the reviewers forced to review the game in twitter and the game went 10/10, and twitter got down and turn into X.
Cant fuck with Chuck man.
I don't know how Roger Murtaugh ever got cast in this game
why would anyone expect Chuck Norris to be anything else but Chuck Fucking Norris is beyond me..
I can respect when a game tries to go the distance despite not having the resources. This may be rough as fuck but dammit the people who made it gave a shit.
“Not having the resources”?
Sure, since they spend 90% of their budget on getting famous actors on board to peddle their crap game😂
@@GravitasZero These actors are not that expensive, they're not modern A-listers. The game is set in the 90s and they got actors who were popular at the time.
I was very skeptical of this game at first but it actually looks way more in depth than i thought. After some patches and balance updates I think this game could be really underrated.
We need more C-tier games like this. I remember playing through many games without a big-ass brand slapped on their names and enjoying them without expecting any special.
It's b tier, games sick haha!
As janky and unpolished as this game looks to be, I admire some of its ambitious ideas. It's like a bizarre fusion of GTA, Far Cry, Payday, and X-Com.
That first 4 minutes was starting me to sell me on the game😂
for a game, they have a pretty impressive cast of actors
That's not uncommon for games in the last 20+ years though...
Urban Myth says.. When Chuck Norris does a push up, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down.
At the sales pitch:
"Okay but will anyone actually play this?"
"RUclipsrs will"
This game is insane. I seriously can't believe this is real.
The fact that something like this even exists is amazing
Why? What's amazing about this?
A territory conquering Payday with management mechanics + actually decent graphics sounds like a fantastic idea that genuinly intrigues me. Just wish it could've had a higher budget to flesh it all out instead of being half baked. That's what's making it difficult for me to get it or not.
You had me at Mr blonde and Chuck Norris.
But then epic store exclusive
You can tell that there’s an attempt to make something good and has a lot of fun to offer but quickly becomes frustrating once the death loop mechanics start to overshadow the more fun aspects of the game.
Sounds like an awesome 7/10 game.
They spend more money on Chuck Norris than the actual game.
Yeah all the "celebrities" in this game together probably cost just a much to hire as Keanu Reeves alone in Cyberpunk. And even then, Keanu more than likely gave 99% of whatever he was paid away.
This game actually looks good and it looks like a lot of effort was put into making it.

After watching some game play, I'm pretty confident in saying this is basically a playable B movie and I definitely think that's what they were going for. It even has Danny Trejo, the king of shitty B movies that you watch with friends at 2 am After a long night of drinking
Chuck Norris doesn't need explanations, explanations need Chuck Norris.
0:11 I don't recall approving my likeness for this game.
This reminds me of one of those early 2000’s games I would’ve loved as a 10-13 year old 😂
They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore 😂
This feels like one of those games that you play, have a really good time with for a few days, then probably don't return to, and if you do it's mostly in passing. Y'know, the reality TV of games.
Well, new adventures await, buddy.
Underrated. This game is $30, yet it actually is more enjoyable than some more expensive games double its price.
The devs don’t have any branding to their name… this is purely a passion project in making a B-Movie fun game, doesn’t take it seriously. Its flaws are more about inexperience and polishing in game development than laziness, incompetence, or money-milking design. (Unlike other many FPS priced at $60).
That Freestyler is a blast from the past, was in high school when it came out and hadn't heard it for a decade at least
This actually looks like great fun. The dated celebrity parts are appealing to someone like me who finds Present Day™ media and culture to be vomitous. Definitely has a lot of energy and passion put into it, and overambition is one of the best reasons a game can miss the mark.
You say "Present Day™ media and culture to be vomitous", your wrong, its ass!

Nice to see that we now moved on to the 90's culture, I always prefered the 90's culture than the 80's culture as I grew up in the 90's as a teenager.
eh, as a child of the 80s and teen of the 90s... the 90s sucked and the 80s were mildly better - at least as far as pop culture goes.
@@RayneOfSalt well, yeah 90's was a bit more "darker" in terms of world situation, maybe due to the economy, at least here in Europe Sweden. It was recession at that time period and not to mention Yugoslavian civil war was pretty brutal.
However as I mentioned, Sweden didn't really truly experienced much of 1980's culture were we have Arcades or cartoons. We only had cable TV at the end of 1980's and at most we only had Nintendo and Sega.
I liked the 90's popculture due to Rap Music like 2Pac and grunge music lie Nirvana. Also at this time period anime was starting to be recognize and there was alot of experimental "X-treme Culture" cartoons like Beavis and Butthead. Not to mention this was videogame golden age where we saw how videogames evolved in this 10 years between 1990 to 1999
@@hanchiman the 90s is also when counter-culture of the 80s like rap and metal were corporatised, sanitised and mass-marketed. It's been a steady decline since then. Every revolutionary thing that popped up was immediately boxed up with a shiny logo and sold en masse.
@@RayneOfSalt I think 50cent was the beginning of commercialized rap.
Anyways if we go back to topic like videogames, poetically it the end of the 90's when FPS games starting to find their footing where we see alot of improvement of enemy AI and how an FPS games progress storyline wise. Like Half Life that came in 1998
@@Nonesovile96 Also when MTV still have music videos and once in a while show adult cartoons like Liquid Television where my first exposure to Beavis and Butthead came from like Frogbaseball. Also another was the short anime Running Man with Kawajiri (from Ninja Scroll fame)
At first I thought the heists and gameplay seemed really similar to payday 2, then by the end I realized it’s just payday 2 but with quality of life improvements. The problem with the game is it doesn’t have 2 things that made it great, variety in play style as well kickass music.
Dude how do you still have less than 1M subs? You are seriously the most underrated RUclipsr. I insta-watch anything you post. My top sub.
Thanks for being one of the very few people to give this game a fair review. There have been a few patches and some new DLC that have made it even better. I'm actually enjoying it far more than Payday 3.
I did not expect to hear Bomfunk MC's in the first 10 seconds of a gmanlives video... this boutta be good!
It's weird it has all those big names when it looks like an (admittedly top shelf) Unity asset flip. Even the name of "Crime Boss" sounds shovelware.
It’s like they spread out the weed farm mission from far cry 3 into an entire game. I’m definitely gonna buy this
I remember the really random Game Awards trailer for this and being super hyped up by it and then over time that hype just died. I'm sure I will pick it up when it goes on sale in a few months.
I can imagine that this game is gonna blow up as that "It's so bad that it loops to being good again for laughs" kinda game.
I desperately hope that by the time this gets the console release, it's gotten the polish and balances it needs. The crime game genre as a whole has been woefully underserved and this game seems to be like a refreshing slice of fun. Just the atmosphere and environments are enough for me to be interested- growing up in 90s Florida, it just feels good to be able to play around in these environments again.
9 seconds in and I already almost died laughing
I do really enjoy the campy aspects of the game, I feel like if it has a dedicated team who works on it maybe even 30% of what payday 2 devs do I think this game will be actually worth buying.
Helps the game isn't full priced.
