Saw your first video and a year later your here to this , amazing job ! I’m about to start my farm and I’m pretty excited so hopefully all goes well just as you are wish you the best ,keep updating !
Schubugs my crickets all died slowly ,order like 600 and they became very picky on food after giving them fruit lol. I decided to capture my own soon but the black ones you see outside in your yard . It was a great experience and I’ll learn off trial and error . Thanks for your video , it boosted my motivation as it will to all viewers !
Hey mate, still trying to work that out. Right now we have about 15k in one tub. No problems so far but we have some more trial bins still growing. I'll make a video about it soon
great video! at 6:41 in 9 container you have very many soil boxes with pinheads. They grow quickly, so how do you identify how many pinheads is optimal for your container? How do you identify that there are too many of them? Do you later split them into other boxes?
Thanks for your video! We are going to start pilot farm in Ukraine. And wondering who could be our potential consumer for the begining volumes ( 5-10 kilogrammes) and in which shape ( alive, frozen or in powder)? How do you sell yours ?
Good luck! You can sell for pet food or human consumption. In Australia people have pets that will eat crickets so you can sell a small amount to them. Maybe you cook them up and sell them at local markets.
Great video! I also have a little cricket farm. I speak English bad)) and I don”t understand what temperature and humidity is optimized for crickets. Can you write? Please) forgive me mistakes please)
hey mate, we dont worry about humidity we only focus on temperature. if you have too much humidity you will kill your pinhead crickets. we have our container at 30 degrees
@@Schubugs that's brilliant. Thanks for getting back to me. Do you run a humidifier or do you just mist to? Did your container come insulated or have you guys done it and with what thickness. Thanks Ryan

Can you make a video on how you prepare your container for farming?
We should have a video on the channel where we built the container from the start. I'll find the link for you

Hey mate, how many medium circkets can you fit in a single 1000L bowl without problems?
Thanks and keep going with the series!

We plan on having about 10,000 cricket in one box. Hoping to have 1 million in the whole container. long way to go!
If I was a cricket I would want to live there
I'm not a cricket but I love living in there!
Hi, thanks for great video! Did you insulate the container?
We sure did, watch vlog 7 for more information

@@Schubugs thank you. What about sport nutrition and supplements producers, starting from which volume cricket powder could be interesting for them?
@@ЯрославПавлюк-ъ9з yeah you can sell them to athletes. I would keep encouraging you to look around at all options and try them all!
Great video! But I have a question. How many Kg ir cricket do you harvest from each container?
We don't know because we haven't fill the container but we estimate about 50kg a week

Schubugs thank you!!))
Do you heat the whole container with a a/c split system? Struggling to get my shed up to 30 for my roach colonies? Nice set up
Yeah we do, and it holds heat really well. The last power bill was 27 dollars!

@@ryanbinge3720 we some times mist and it can get up to 75% when we do. The insulation is about 5cm thick
How is the water system set up.
Hey it's just PVC pipe that we fill with water and the rope soaks it up for the crickets to drink from.
@@Schubugs Great design for the water feeder, what sort of rope is it? Thanks
Its oven rope
how many ph do you put in one of them bins?
About 15 thousand pin heads
It seems like you can put a lot more in those bins?
@@jgonzalez3119 yeah maybe. But we are still learning
Where do you get the tubs
We made them from old water containers
how do you keep them from jumping out?
The surface of our bins are super smooth and they can't climb out
Shubugs thanks for the reply. New subscriber
