Jerry is sooo close to completing all side quests😂🎉
the real quest going to be wild
Except his name is Zack. Unlike his channel name 😂
Did he find all 200 acorns yet?
@@nz2005 Even he has accepted that his nickname is Now Jerry
Those two ecoflow delta batteries are like $12,000
Seeing how much work you put into improving the quality of life for your wife and all who depend on wheelchairs is so reassuring.
You are a good man, who has taught me a lot over the years. Please keep being you, it has not only enriched the lives of everyone around you, but also millions of strangers like me sitting behind a screen watching you do what you do.
You're an amazing guy!
Waiting For The Indestructible Wheelchair.
Then the disables will be flying 🪽 ones
I'm only 27, but shit like this makes me happy, cus my grandma for the last four years of her life was completely wheelchair bound, and with only one wheelchair provided by insurance it was constantly breaking... Please make a good product... In the last month. All she wanted to do is go outside to see the hummingbirds she feed for decades, and it hurt her for me to carry her... I will never forget you grandma and the hummingbirds are doing great...
stress testing, you love to see it
it's what he does
As a CAD designer at a custom wheelchair manufacture these things are loud as heck. Good on the growth my dude.
Nice that you do it! 😃👍
A *higher amount of spokes* can help to spread higher weight better for more *endurance!* At least in bicycles.
You can also let it run 24/7 until anything breaks. Then you know the weakest link in the chain (not a wheelchair). 😉
If you make it out of nokia 3310 phones, it'll last forever
Ahh yess the indestructible legend 😜
I honestly miss my 3310, someone should build a house out of them, would last forever 👀
I just can’t get enough of your content these past 12 months. Anything you’re working on has been amazing. Thank you!
I love this! Increase in the quality of accessible products is what this world needs!
Amazing project!! Banger of a watch
Interesting. What's the reason for using batteries rather than mains power?
It's a commercial building and we didn't want to permit another 240v outlet.
@@JerryRigEverything ah interesting 👍 Cheers mate
Probably getting this set up in less than 2 months
Because.. Why not?
Because it is in the US, they don't have 230V mains easily available in the room.
Amazing thing your doing creating this wheelchair👏
You are testing this big wheels. In my experience, the small front wheels are the first to break due to the change in motion. Even if they are cast rubber, solid tires break down and stretch. Be careful and test at high asphalt temperatures! It would be even better to build a test chamber where you can place such a device inside and cycle temperature changes of 50°C and then -40°C to see if any screws or materials have temperature or mechanical limitations.
They are testing everything as far as I can tell, It's just fairly easy to understand how that wheel failed and it was likely the first thing to fail, I have no doubt in my mind these will be the best manual wheelchairs on the market once they finally release them
-40 degree tests are absurd. There is no reason a wheelchair user should go on an arctic expedition.
@@bavarianpotato It is unbelievably extremely rare, but the northernmost states in the US can under very specific conditions can get extremely cold, I don't think they can quite get to -40c yet, but they've definitely given it a good try, also if he plans on selling these in Canada than knowing how it would behave. That cold is just good to know because there are places in Canada not that close to the Arctic circle that get close to that temperature
This is such sick way of testing wheelchairs, really neat.
Lol those designs are great. Never seen an off road wheelchair before
I wish Crohns could easily be helped like what Zach is doing. Im 30 and fully disabled and living off of $650 USD a month. Have almost all of my bowels removed. Had to stop working 2 years ago. All I have is to pay my rent, and then I have to choose whether I eat for the day or take my medication and some days ill splurge and go all out taking medication with my meal 😅
That sucks man my dad had three feet of his small intestines removed. He became super deficient in vitamin B12. Every four or five months, he goes to the ER and they give him some steroid shot that calms he down.
@@SoundsLegit71 that sucks:( I have to give myself a shot of B12 10,000mcg once a month. I hope he's doing well:)
I just got my first ecoflow box, a river 2. I am SOO jealous that you just have several units like the delta laying around to use for stuff like this. Nice use for it without needing it plugged into the grid
Awesome! Keep up the great work!
My goodness I love this testing 😍😍😍
Zack! You all are literally doing God's work. I love it dude ❤️
Love this guy. He seems like just a genuinely good person.
Things looks like a dyno for wheel chairs, keep up the good work man!
All this because of your wife, and now helping others. I waited years to see how you would turn out, and you did great. You are a good man, and have a good soul to help others.
Just know you're doing amazing work, we appreciate who you are man
Zach- you are awesome man.
I’ve been paralyzed for 20 years. Since I was 15 in 2004 at T10 T11. When ever I need a new chair I end up just finding the one that is the closest to what I want and then having to make my own custom parts to make it actually work. It’s like the engineers have never spent a day in a chair. What good is the chair if you flip over backwards any time you try to use the back rest.
A life worthy pursuit!
Thank you sir!
Agent 47 doing god's work on his off time
Thx you for testing your stuff.
You’re amazing dude!! ❤
Very cool! I'm a cycle technician, I'd love to strap a few of our bikes to one of those machines 😂
Thats awesome doing the right tests!
God bless U, Zach🎉
I approve of the testing
you're a real hero, Jerry ... you deserve a lot more jerrybabies. Go make them
What an awesome human being.
Keep up the good work Zach!
Now I will say a lot of major Manufacturers could learn a lot from your process. Stress test of Components before you decide on the final build SHOULD be a part of the process always. But is often skipped.
As always Great work and keep it up.
Before you said anything I immediately thought we were dyno testing a wheelchair
I think you're doing a very good thing. Keep up the very good work.
When Hitman fall in love ❤ but I respect ❤
this is the kinda quality control that should be made standard for all things sold.
If only every manufacturer put this much care into the quality of their products
Reminds me of the stress test machine for the old BMW M5 suspension. Ran hard AF to find weak points and make sure it holds up beyond recommended usage
Love it I will definitely be buying one
Bros making a wheelchair that can go offroading. I love it
Is this testing a normal thing in wheelchair manufacturing or is Zack just that much more awesome than his competition?
His wife is in a wheel chair I expect he wants the best of the best for her he already built her a elevator in their house ❤️
Every once in a while you have to spray the moving parts with water dirt and so on to simulate real outside and everyday environment. And up and down temperatures especially on areas like bearings and moving parts and seals
They see me rolling… they hating!
Interesting, companies usually call that a feature, planned obsolescence is just great 👍
Yo mans got it on the dyno! Tune that bad boy UUPPP! Get the gear ratios cleeannn
"we were gonna use cheap shit but it turned out to be cheap shit" 😂
any tools with moving and rubbing parts always require preventive maintenance, tensioning spoke wheel every 6/12 months is much more feasible than installing forged carbon wheels onto your wheelchair
Good job👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Can you build a wheel chair that transforms into a go kart and vice versa? That would be amazing!
I've always wanted to do this
The overly rigid nature of that weight will be more abusive, and that could be good to be that scrupulous. I would be curious to add some cushion to that weight and see how the chair fairs then. Then after testing you would have a results for how it performs at worst and at 'expected' torture.
Side note: I did mention this chair to one of my friends who did order one! Thanks for what your doing
Only one to pass his durability test and survive is his wife 💀
Man this is awesome
Sounds like a shopping cart is being tortured! 😂
Just can’t wait till Zach solves world hunger.
Cool testing rig! But...
Just like a car - any indispensable transport necessity - your machine needs some minimum level of monitoring and maintenance. You should repeat these tests assuming that every year or so some minimum checks and adjustments are carried out.
Sure, you'll find the same weaknesses, but also track down those that could go on to cause cascading *avoidable* failures.
Some parts might be better as consumables, with a known design life rather than an indefinite one. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good, and don't over engineer to the point where you're overpricing. Better to include some consumable parts and even a maintenance kit as part of the cost of the machine.
All the best to you both.
Personally knowing how horrible the disabled medical industry is I really hope this works out
Rope spokes would be pretty cool on a wheelchair
Upstairs neighbors when you have a massive work crunch and need a good 4 days of rest.
At the start of the video I actually thought this was a Dyno for your wife. 😂
Do a phone type test on one of your wheelchairs
Hope yall are still going when my arthritis cripples me more (im kinda post cripple rn, but it’s the calm before the storm)
I love this so much
niceeee. wheels wise - i have the same Spinergy wheels for over 18 years (sh!t you not) - i bought a new chair at one point, but not new wheels. one of their cheapest wheels options - they are extremely durable
Jerry: *💥🦽💥😃 "Scratches at level 6, with deeper grooves at level 7."*
Cambry: *🛌 "Hun.... Where is my wheelchair?!"*
This is really good i work as a disability support worker and the chairs are not up to standard
Have you ever heard of Byrd bike spokes? It would be really amazing to see you. Use that technology in your wheelchairs lightweight extremely durable with some shock absorbing characteristics.
5 star product!
Bro made dino for the wheelchair
Yep, the rollers are good to go!
Could try corded spokes? Tho they'd probably stretch or snap, still seems smoother
The marketing for this product is going to be a nightmare. Wheelchairs from a company called Not A Wheelchair!?
You're talking normally instead of the weird robot voice you sometimes use. I approve. 👍
v6 4.3L 102 Toyan Engine.
This sounds like the cousin of the fitness gram pacer test by name alone
Not a wheelchair, watches video. Thats a wheelchair. 😂
Jerry could not be doing too badly on sales, if he is able to afford this great testing equipment. Very excellent to do these tests, your customers are grateful, I am sure.
He make a large amount from RUclips and he also has a Non-profit making the chairs...
the design is very human.
Remember to regularly QA batches, because you never know when suppliers will feel the need to increase profit margins.
When i first saw this I thought you made a dynamometer for a wheelchair
So its a dino for wheel chairs 😂😂😂
Wow this is a tually amazing
But why to only focus on tyres, if the frame of the wheelchair broke before than tyres. So you should also acount for the other parts.
We swap the broken tires and keep going till the next thing breaks... and then fix that. Over and over.
@@JerryRigEverything Alright
@@JerryRigEverythingSo in short you're doing product testing the correct way
Now before bro's durability testing wheelchairs, what's next an airplane?? 😂
Nice! Might get one, I don't need one yet. But when I purposely loose a limb to dodge the draft for the nest world war you bet I'll purchase one from you. (Satire)
Awesome!
I hope your new wheels are domestically sourced or better yet, made in house as well.
Hello.
If a part starts to come lose do you stop and tighten it? Like in the real world if someone notices a bolt coming lose they would likely stop to tighten it. Is that being considered when doing these tests?
Those 2 eco flows are letting you run that for four days straight? Are they just the batteries or is one the power station and the other an extra battery/battery extender?
Bro should employ Aaron Fatheringham from nitro circus.
No metal weight dummy pieces were hurt in the making of this video
This is what my neighbour is doing at 2am
Man.. you need to do some vid about all R&D you are doing there
