Hard to judge the performance of a product on hair that refuses to curl! Things are better now. My hair's been curling decently, which is a relief. Moxie also just launched some new products. The Hair Fly Fix, their new hair serum & oil. Since there are new product launches from this brand that I REALLY WANT to include in my video, my review is getting delayed. 5. Thick hair masks with slip for high porosity hair: Been working on finding these as well. Also made edits to this in the pinned comment of my products for high porosity video. 6. Sharing my detailed experience with curl shock. Haven't even started working on this! So in short, there's a lot coming your way soon!
Awesome tutorial. You do all the hard work and research for us. You're the best! I like the definition the curl wand gives, but on the whole the entire look is so good!!

I'm still learning and experimenting. I've been sharing my learnings on this in my shorts. I'm still in the learning phase. Whatever I'm learning I'm sharing in shorts. Hey! Thanks for sharing this. I've been curious about trying the wand, but I've been hesitant because the Miniso brush you suggested two years ago has been working great for my hair. However, since I got a haircut, I've been struggling to achieve definition, so I think I'll give the wand a try.
Did you cut your hair very short? Do you have waves? It might just be temporary curl shock. This happens after you just have a cut. It goes back to normal in a few weeks. But if you've cut it short, your hair will have trouble curling.
Hey,I have type 2c/3a curls. Yeah, I did cut my hair really short. It was almost 2 months ago. For the last 2 months I stopped doing anything and switched to basic shampoo, conditiner and a gel because nothing was working out. I tried mousse, somehow mousse never works out for me. I have started using my Miniso brush again recently.
Oh no. I don't know if it will help then. Before you buy anything try finger rolling. If it works, then you could consider the curling wand to make styling quicker.
Your videos are always helpful.. Now i m in a break from CGM because of my hair fall problem.. But i hope it will stop soon and i can continue the journey.. Because i m missing my beautiful curls..
Season change will cause some hair fall. But check for dietary deficiencies. A lot of the times it's a simple fix. For me, it was a matter of including an iron supplement and it stopped my unusual hairfall. So definitely go to an endocrinologist and get your tests done.

I just did an updated low porosity video. Sadly so far I've only come across 1 protein free mask. But hang tight. I've been trying new products. I'll update my hair masks too if you want. If you come across any protein free hair masks & products, please share them with me too. I'll check it out. I'm not finding too many protein free options apart from the one's I included in my most recent low porosity products video.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. The strength of the cast will depend on how much leave in or curl cream you use under it. If your cast is not strong, maybe you're leave in : gel ratio is different compared to mine. Mine is 1:5 I've reduced the amount of leave-in I use. My porosity changed. I went from high to medium. Since this change I've been suffering with over-moisturization. That's why I had to make this change.

It's taken me 1 year love. I coloured my hair in June 2023. The bottom lengths have still not recovered. I don't think they ever will. So it may not be a quick fix. When did you colour your hair? How long ago? I'll do a video on colour curl shock, what helps and what doesn't soon ok? I have lots to share on this topic.
