    I used to spend summers on my uncles farm when I was a teenager back in the 1970s. He had a DJ-H and a JD-B. I drove the B a lot. Racking hay mostly. That and an Allis Chalmer's C. You video brings back a lot of memories for me. Great job with the restoration. And you knowledge about the tractor is amazing!

I saved your video because I have a ‘41 H waiting to be restored as well. Also subbed. Keep it up!

    To equalize air pressure in rear tires rig a hose up to both valves. The pressure not so important but having them equal is.

    Take a 3/4 thick plate full diameter of the bore by a 1/16 less then the bore, And put it in a arbar press and they would have come right out, I saved six 1957 D8 cat pistons that way, and I pressed them out the crank side of the wet sleeve

    Was the dumping of tyres on the side of the highway a joke or are you so insensitive to the environment in your country? Otherwise a good watch and being so young gives me hope for your generation. I'll keep following if the environment doesn't suffer any more.

    • @thesmallenginekid
      @thesmallenginekid  Год назад +5

      Other suggestions were to throw them in the ocean with the batteries or to burn the tires at night as they don't make smoke - something with the air pressure and dew point? Seriously though, we take them to the town transfer station for $3/tire regardless of size. The transfer station also takes up to 5 gal/day of the used oil/fluids.

    That makes no sense and it's really irritating to watch!!!
