With a big DLC released this week including a new category and a new track( 99% confirmed) I think this review is a week early 😂. I think LFM works because it's separate to the devs and can react quicker to the community. Also as a Sim its relatively cheap to get all the content. Have a good day mate.
Got the game early 2022 during winter steam sales, 2100h+ hours in as of today solely on gamepad, never enjoyed a racing game so much for so long. I always been into racing since Virtua Racing days, but never I have been that much addicted. Unfortunately, since having a family, I do not have the space/time to have a proper racing setup anymore (that was a reason I did not get into the game earlier, being scared of not enjoying it without proper equipment), so even on console purely on gamepad it can be a decent experience. For anyone still on the fence, just buy it during steam sales, it is always going at very good price and even if you ignore the DLC at first, you will still be able to experience much of the content online and will most likely get your money's worth.

Plus, another thing to mention, is that the force feedback on ACC is absolutely amazing. You can feel the car rumble through the steering wheel and the tires gripping the track. They did great with it. When I hop back into GT7 I always wish Polyphony would upgrade their force feedback.
Agreed, GT7 FFB is very poor in comparison. So few options to configure. On ACC I also really like the car to car differences in steering lock, helps you dial in your steering.

My biggest surprise/disappointment is that it still has career mode bugs from years ago (yes there are people who do start by playing career mode). Imagine my surprise when I completed a 3 hour endurance race weekend, completed everything in full, came first in FP, Q1, Q2, Q3 & the race but at the end didn't get a medal nor any other achievements. The career mode % progresses but that' is about it. It seems clear to me that they either don't' know how to fix the bugs or just don't care.
If you like GT racing, ACC is amazing. The graphics, sounds, and physics are top notch. I actually enjoy racing ACC over iracing when it comes to GT racing
Hey Oscar! Great video but wanted to mention that there are plenty of open servers constantly open and full in Europe for casuals! Though LFM is a great way to go it's not necessary. Also you really forgot to mention the gt2 car dlc coming in a couple days! Great video regardless keep up the good work!
I only race offline, the game is addictive. The AI i miles better than Gran Turismo and some other games but would love AI that's adaptive. Going to play this a lot longer
Still on the fence about buying this on PS5. Im still going for 100% in GT7, then have F1 21 to play after that. By the time Im done AS2 will prob be out. Very few copies of this out in the wild and even when you find one it is over £30 used.
They improved the tyres but the damage is still a big problem in ACC for me. My car wrecked in the race and the one that causes damage continues to run, no safety car for the big races and the horrible netcode
Have both from the beginning AC and ACC. While AC is more hardcore sometimes then ACC after many patches is one of the best racing ( can't call this ordinary game ) simulators so far...
I don’t think there is a need to wait for AC 2 if you are thinking about the playing AC or ACC. You can get the games on at a good discount that already makes both games worth playing.
ACC is always on sale (for really cheap), I don't think anyone should wait. It's a no brainer for me. Same for AC Ultimate edition, it's always on sale for $6...Both games are really good.

I tried ACC yesterday and I wasn’t impressed. I’ve been playing GT7 for a while. I wasn’t impressed with the how the controller felt and it seemed very unpolished. Also, it was difficult to not be distracted by the wheel and driver doing jazz hands even if I barely moved the joystick.
I thought you were gonna review the pxn v12 but I understand that it is vey expensive so you might not be able to buy it as they didn’t sponsor you. I just hope you can review it one day 😊
Strange you released this without doing even a small bit of digging into the fact that a huge new patch was literally days away. There's been a few of your videos that just flat out miss the mark in this regard, pulling the trigger on topics or products that are literally on the verge of changing/new releases making your reviews seem outdated or just straight up lazy. Production has always been your strong suit though, and everything is always put together well... I just think you should seriously consider doing more research before dumping half/old/bad info on your large audience.

Really suggest driving the GT4s and TCr races on LFM. ACC got so much diversity in feeling and racing. LFM is awesome fun for adding these

Is ACC still worth it in 2024? Absolutely it is. Plus the Red Bull Ring coming 24th January and the Nordschleife in the spring. 👍

ACC is great, but I think you should wait for AC 2 to release and then choose between these 2 games.

LFM is great in AC! I rather race mx5 than gt cars, otherwise I'd have bought acc already
I just bought it on Xbox for $25 then picked up all the dlc for another $25 .... so $50 not bad ... but console lacks LFM and telemetry or Udp out
Can’t get past tutorial without crashing, literally 5-7 minute intervals would crash out of nowhere. Refunded and never looked back
