love the video as usual, but I feel like there was criminal missed potential in not rounding out poison pumpkaboo's bat-head leaves into the overlaying poison drips from the movie.
Thank you! Valid critique, I wanted to keep the Pumpkaboo as recognisable as possible, so I feel like rounded droops might've stretched a bit too far? Regardless tho, I assure you that it's evolution is very drippy indeed...

These forms of Pumpkaboo all turned out really amazing! Love the sheer creativity of each form, all very endearing, especially love how the abstract idea for a Flying Pumpkaboo Pumpkaboo came out being a Tomato who was born into the world and decided it chooses violence, truly peak performance!
Thank you!! It was definitely fun going through all the wonderful and wacky food-plants and assigning types to them (even if some were changed up last minute) - Once the image of a tomato being thrown entered my brain, there was no escaping it!

Earthy Pumpkaboo could’ve done better as a Sweet Potato seeing they’re part of the nightshade family of plants which produce fruit (such as eggplants and tomatoes), but since the Sweet Potato is the root of the plant it still would work as a root vegetable.
Fair, but I'm also Irish so that would be sacrilegious
Potatoes are nightshades too, with a fruit also. Chilis are also nightshades.
I feel it would have been neat if some of the pumpkaboos were like over sized berries. Like the fire pumpkaboo being a Tamato berry. Or the psychic type being that Enigma berry {the one with question marks all over the skin}.

Pumpkaboo is my all time favorite so I love all of these! The fairy type could easily be a convertgent idea too, Plumkaboo! being Fairy/Ice rather than Grass/Ghost and representing Christmas rather than Halloween.
Bonus points if its found in a region based in Germany where "The Nutcracker" story originated.

The Fire, Electric and Dragon variants are by far my favourite ones. I'm seriously looking forward to the evolutions. Will they be Regional Gourgeist or something different entirely? Either way, I can't wait to see.

Cactus pears are closely related to Dragon fruits, so I think you should’ve gone with pineapple for the sake of variety. Then again, you made a watermelon and a frozen watermelon.

Poison could have had a green top half and red body. And the shiny could have been green with a carmel colored top.
Could've! But Fire and Flying have that same colouration, so they'd feel samey!

Well they do all have the same face, so it's understandable!
In the evolution, the parts and go guys that look like the ghost. Maybe some of them could be the fungus growing out and the fungus flip over to make that weird body shape that has.
