And it's evolved form, Suguchino (meaning Superior Bloodedge), is Dark/Ghost type while also a reference to Afflicted Great Izuchi. So a zombified Kamaitachi? That's a yikes for the Sneasel lines! Plus, much like the Pokemon-themed Bosses in Tears of the Kingdom what Bilsu Art has made, the Afflicted Monsters and Risen Monsters do evolved after exposing to a living item called "Qurio". Most of them do grant Monsters the Ghost-Typing while others doesn't. And they even have upgraded materials to defend against other enemies until they're dropped after being defeated by humans And in Suguchino's case, the pelt and hide are useful for nullifying Dragon-Type Moves. Like Sneasler, Suguchino do prefer solitude rather than forming packs due to the zombie-like appearance and killer rogue-like behavior that makes you go to the gun show. I kind of like the idea of all starter pokemon being descended from three legendary ancestors, kind of creates a reason for why the starters are always a fire, water and grass trio, and why they, in particular, are chosen as starters- they're special lines of pokemon from each region KNOWN to be descended from the original three. There's a good bit of fanfiction there somewhere, maybe starter pokemon lines are specifically bred by a religious order or something of the sort that has settled in each region and specifically bred their lines of starters to best fit the region they find themselves in, and perhaps this order has some sort of role in the roots of the pokemon battle leagues of each region- hence their ability to control the starter pokemon. A sort of Pokelluminati, if you will. It would also explain why starter pokemon tend to be stronger than other pokemon you catch, and have exclusive moves. (I know, I know, in more recent games many starters are all over the place, I'm old, ok?)
For the grass fusion I was imagining a large tortoise body with a snake tail and neck that would have meowscarada fur on its neck and on its back it would have the foliage from the various plants the starters along with the spikes from Chestnaught and Torterra on it. The tail and neck could have sceptiles yellow bulbs and it’s face could have a decidueye beak with a meganium like face. The legs I was imagining a cross between Venusaur and torterra legs. That’s just what I was imagining, I love the way you did it!

You should add these to your region. Maybe they can all have some lore as in a mythical/legendary pokemon split these 3 up into all the starters cause they decided to rival/challenge Arceus himself. They were really powerful, claiming they could beat Arceus, so Arceus split all of them up into 9 starters each, forcing them to live as a smaller, less powerful, and common form.
With these fusions acting like Legendaries, maybe another idea would be to take the base form of all the starters to make little fairy/pixie mythicals, or perhaps even a 'pre-evolution' a-la Cosmog to Sogaleo for them all! Could be really interesting to see a cutesy version of these using those elements.
I think a good part three to this series could be "early route pokemon". Fusing every route 1 mammal, bird and bug. Maybe they'd end up being too boring, but if the 3 fusions per episode keeps up, that's the next trio of categories that make sense to me. Okay so, I have a few ideas/criticisms for Beastorch, I do like the design but I see small things that I feel could be better, for example Scali-Bird just being on top of the stick, I could have easily put him in a curvature like a bird sitting on a tree branch, the neck and head flames are so close to each other yet look disconnected, very unrealistic for fire, maybe just make them one big flame, I think the little tail flame is too extra, and lastly, very nitpicky but I'd like it better if the slim lines in the wrists were gold to match the feet
If you haven’t done it already, would love to see just the starters from each region combined with one another, example fusion of Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise. So on and so forth
I need to see a Legendary cute pokemon, their power is cuteness. ability Cute Rage, its so cute everyone wants posess and hug it, even the most agressive pokemon will defend its cuteness to the death. Although its vulnerable looking its like cult leader who knows exactly what its cuteness does to others and actively uses it to make others serve and defend it.
Considering a lot of water starters have weapons such as cannons, guns, or swords, a combination NEEDS a weapon. I'd suggest a trident with cannons for the tips.
As a followup to this vid, i'd love to see you try do two pre-evolution stages for these new "fakemon" then create a flat out fusion of the 1st and 2nd stage starters and compare how different/similar they are.
This is one of my favourite Fakemon videos. I love all the designs! I can imagine them being the Legendaries of some crazy new version of Pokemon Red, Blue and Green, where you collect the starters of every region before being met with one of these ancient elementals.
I love this! A follow up video where you take these, then simplify them into a version in line with standard starter design and made pre-evolutions would be cool too! So this video is the fusion version, then next would be turning the fusion into a credible starter 😊
i don't dislike the grass-starter fusemon, but a different direction you could've gone that i think would've made for a cleaner design would've been taking torterra's world turtle/garden shell idea, and mixing it with the sauropod body type from meganium (but with chestnaught's longer legs--just as a quadruped), and going from there. so it would basically be a gargantuan living garden housing ancient fauna (taken from torterra's tree, venasaur's flower, sceptile's buds, and rillaboom's leaf "hair"), with the sceptile/decidueye/meganium head, a "collar"-frill styled after serperior's and mewoscarada's, that flows into a "cape" based on decidueye's and chestnaught's, and finally a tail based on sceptile's and serperior's. add the fluff from the mammalian grass starters on the underline of the design, and i think you'd have something that still reads as a grass starter fusemon, but with a slighty cleaner silhouette. but as you pointed out, you could literally do anything the grass fusemon, given the variety in body types. overall i still really like what you came up with :)
What you could do is combine the pokemon of each trope. For example, the first route bird or normal type, pidgey, hoothoot, tailow, etc Fossil pokemon, champion's mascot, egg pokemon, Pikachu clones, that kind of thing
I want to see every pseudo legendary, fused or maybe every regional bird, or regional rodent, or maybe all three in one video to keep the pattern of three pokémon per fusion video
I love the work you did here! What if you did this again but cut the generations into 3 groups: gens 1-3, gens 4-6, and gens 7-9? That way, we see more of individual pokemon in the designs and can see the evolution of starter design as a whole.
I love the fire type! For the grass starter I think it would have been cool to increase how far the spikes on the arms stuck out and increase the mass of the back and included sceptiles orbs to be like fruit in the tree

Maybe you could make prevolutions of these fused Pokemon? That is if these Pokemon have multiple stages in the first place…
Honestly, seeing these, I would really love to see a legendary fusion for each type. You made each of these ancient masters of their type. So, what about the rest?
Imagine if they added these as Legendaries that were common ancestors of the starters!
Okay so, I have a few ideas/criticisms for Beastorch, I do like the design but I see small things that I feel could be better, for example Scali-Bird just being on top of the stick, I could have easily put him in a curvature like a bird sitting on a tree branch, the neck and head flames are so close to each other yet look disconnected, very unrealistic for fire, maybe just make them one big flame, I think the little tail flame is too extra, and lastly, very nitpicky but I'd like it better if the slim lines in the wrists were gold to match the feet
I think one of the most impressive parts of beastorch is how the final art makes an otherwise stiff pose look awesome. These are very cool designs.
If you haven’t done it already, would love to see just the starters from each region combined with one another, example fusion of Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise. So on and so forth
Since Gen 8, I’ve found myself choosing the Grass starter, and this is no different. Her behemoth is just so fierce and cool.

I need to see a Legendary cute pokemon, their power is cuteness. ability Cute Rage, its so cute everyone wants posess and hug it, even the most agressive pokemon will defend its cuteness to the death. Although its vulnerable looking its like cult leader who knows exactly what its cuteness does to others and actively uses it to make others serve and defend it.
It could be fun to redesign Gen 1 Pokemon concepts how you think Game Freak would design them now

I love Herbehemoths design. It wouuld be nice if the next fusion would be early route birds and rodents.

Considering a lot of water starters have weapons such as cannons, guns, or swords, a combination NEEDS a weapon.
I'd suggest a trident with cannons for the tips.
Herbohemoth looks almost cohesive enough that it could just be a grass starter final evolution

As a followup to this vid, i'd love to see you try do two pre-evolution stages for these new "fakemon" then create a flat out fusion of the 1st and 2nd stage starters and compare how different/similar they are.
I love the water and grass fusions. Not a big fan of the fire one though, to me it looks just like Blaziken with some added accessories
Idk if it just me, but, a theoretical full evolution line for these starter would be cool

This is one of my favourite Fakemon videos. I love all the designs! I can imagine them being the Legendaries of some crazy new version of Pokemon Red, Blue and Green, where you collect the starters of every region before being met with one of these ancient elementals.
That square space pokemon would be minecraft pokemon to not an ant

A follow up video where you take these, then simplify them into a version in line with standard starter design and made pre-evolutions would be cool too!
So this video is the fusion version, then next would be turning the fusion into a credible starter 😊
i don't dislike the grass-starter fusemon, but a different direction you could've gone that i think would've made for a cleaner design would've been taking torterra's world turtle/garden shell idea, and mixing it with the sauropod body type from meganium (but with chestnaught's longer legs--just as a quadruped), and going from there. so it would basically be a gargantuan living garden housing ancient fauna (taken from torterra's tree, venasaur's flower, sceptile's buds, and rillaboom's leaf "hair"), with the sceptile/decidueye/meganium head, a "collar"-frill styled after serperior's and mewoscarada's, that flows into a "cape" based on decidueye's and chestnaught's, and finally a tail based on sceptile's and serperior's. add the fluff from the mammalian grass starters on the underline of the design, and i think you'd have something that still reads as a grass starter fusemon, but with a slighty cleaner silhouette.
but as you pointed out, you could literally do anything the grass fusemon, given the variety in body types. overall i still really like what you came up with :)
What you could do is combine the pokemon of each trope. For example, the first route bird or normal type, pidgey, hoothoot, tailow, etc
Fossil pokemon, champion's mascot, egg pokemon, Pikachu clones, that kind of thing
Every pseudo, early bird and rodent could be cool. Or every fur bait :0
That last one is crazy
I want to see every pseudo legendary, fused or maybe every regional bird, or regional rodent, or maybe all three in one video to keep the pattern of three pokémon per fusion video

I love the work you did here! What if you did this again but cut the generations into 3 groups: gens 1-3, gens 4-6, and gens 7-9? That way, we see more of individual pokemon in the designs and can see the evolution of starter design as a whole.

I love the fire type! For the grass starter I think it would have been cool to increase how far the spikes on the arms stuck out and increase the mass of the back and included sceptiles orbs to be like fruit in the tree
The only thing I would change is making Herbehemoth taller, I feel like something with Behemoth in it's name should be bigger then 6'9''.
