I did my advanced training at redstone national arsenal outside Huntsville. A thrill one day was our training helicopter had to move out if the way quickly...air force 1 flew over- the Clinton's were taking Chelsea to space camp. We spent a day at the space camp area...cant believe that was 30 years ago this summer.
I will be going to Space Camp in May, 2024. I’m getting so excited. But, it’s 6 months away. I can’t wait! NASA does not own Space Camp. It’s owned by the state of Alabama.
Yes, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama is one of the largest and most popular space museums in the world. The museum is dedicated to showcasing the history and technology of space exploration, with exhibits on rocketry, satellites, and the Apollo missions to the moon.
Great video! Thanks

I did my advanced training in Fort Ben Harrison in Indianapolis - that was almost 40 years ago!?!
Pathfinder is being refurbished, in case anyone wonders why it doesn’t quite look like a full space shuttle. That is because, right now, it isn’t.
Thank you! Had a feeling that was the case. Soon as he got to the SRBs and ET without the OV, jumped to the comments knowing someone would verify.

Going this Monday haven't been there since 2019.
Supposed to mostly sunny, so have fun!
I wonder how far they are in restoring pathfinder
I haven't heard any update on it - if I find out anything I'll post it!
