DB Z introduced me into Anime genre. I was so close to visiting Japan one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit the place that inspired artists like Toriyama San. R.I.P.

Ngl, the smokescreen after a beam is lit as hell. Imagine the maneuvers you can pull with that.
Pulling a Cooler movie where you throw a beam to blind the opponent, next second later you’re just throwing a Supernova at their dome.
The sickest part is ki blasts and characters can fly through and they actually move out of the way as things fly through! That's cinematic as fuck!
In a real match not against a computer nobody’s going to stand there and watch a super attack come fire at them from across the arena lol

If they add a online team battle similar to xenoverse were players fight at same time.
Then I hope they add a change lock on to another opponents option because it will be needed imagine your team losing.
Against 5vs5 there are only 4 left you your opponent and your homie and opponent his fighting you see your homie being close to be defeated.
And then you use a chargeable atk your opponent try to move out of way or trying to block it.
but you lock on on the opponent who's beating your homie instead turning tides of battle on your side by caughting them off guard..

We have had tournament game modes in the past, as well as cell games...It would be VERY cool if they did a tournament of power battle royal that can be played either online or locally! And when a character gets eliminated it would be cool to see their picture get greyed out like on Zeno's screen from the show.

Stayed up all night just to make sure I could see the gameplay as soon as possible and it did not disappoint.
Battle Wear Damage, the Ki Blast particular effects, THE WAY NAPPA'S GIANT STORM EXPLODED THE BUILDINGS IN WEST CITY LIKE IT WAS FIREWORKS, everything about this looks incredible and i can't wait. Literally the only thing i think can be even better is making the actual hits have a louder sound cue so that they feel even bigger.
I don't care if this releases in the winter or even in 2025 and beyond, no matter what happens in my life even if I'm completely broke and dying the next day, the moment this game comes out, i am on it 100%.

as someone who hasn’t watched dragonball this game does look amazing only thing i’m worried about is the pacing it seems so fast, i’m assuming that’s how it’s like in the anime but i can’t imagine playing stress-free against sweats😭

I strongly believe it’s gone release this year (or at the latest early early next year) simply because it’s the 40th year anniversary of DB and that alone would be the perfect thing to end the year off

im already going to pre-order AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, but if they showcase somethings like tag team battles where you can fight besides a friend MY DREAM IS COMPLETE, i go from pre-ordering the base game to the premium probably haha. I understand if people usually dont like tag team in these games but i really enjoy it just being beside friends and trying to defeat opponents TOGETHER instead of just playing againts each other, but i get it if people just enjoy the competitive alone fights.

I think they did use some of the old sound affects. I was thinking the same when I heard Goku’s sounds, then when Vegeta said Galik Gun, it pretty much confirmed it for me. I recognize those tone pitches and that sounded like Chris Sabat from back in the day

IK WE BACK BUTTTTT. The beams should be bigger depending on what type of attack is it like base you be a small beam but in blue should be a much bigger beam for a full power Kamehameha
The ssj blue has that shintani blue shade, I love it so much and I’m so happy they did that style for this game 😭 I cannot wait for this to be out already, I need it!! 😭
