The end of chapter animations are actually so top tier they really put so much heart in them.
I heard that there was supposed to be another big endgame secret scene ending.
Remember a few trailers/leaders back that we saw fully set Wukong defeating the entire armies and titans in the clouds.
They unfortunately had to cut that out since they needed to bypass their own countries policies because it releates to their governments deeds.

The funny thing is he actually achieved 7 different forms of immortality 😂
He made himself immortal in 7 different ways, and has almost a million layers of immortality on him lol. He can also clone himself (or you) at least 85,000 times to attack you. He also has 72 lives, which means that all his clones have 72 lives.

Wukong: unreasonably strong and fast, he carried mountains on his back and ran at the speed of a meteor. He can create 87,000 clones of himself that all have the exact same abilities and strengths as himself. His weapon weighs literal tons and can increase and decrease in size to whatever he wants. He can transform into anything he wants. Anything. Oh and the little matter of him being immortal MULTIPLE TIMES OVER! all that is just the tip of the iceberg. Wukong is literally what broken characters dream about becoming.
the question is he has 72 lives does his immortality attack itself to those 72 lives so that even if you take 1 immortal live you have to kill 71 more heavily immortal lives
@@durrangodsgrief6503 well the 72 comes from his transformation technique, it doesn't give him 72 lives. He is immortal like 5 times over from learning a breathing form of immortality, eating all the heavenly peaches of immortality in heaven, drinking a banquet of heavenly immortal wine, being one of the 4 "spiritual primates" which buddha described Wukong as being able to "alter the course of planets and stars".
There's a story in TJTTW where he goes toe to toe in death with Daoist immortals (secretly demons in disguise) where his head is chopped off then he regrows it, his organs are taken out and he regrows those. then he bathes in a pot of boiling oil for fun. By the end of the Journey to the West he reaches enlightenment becoming "The victorious Fighting Buddha" giving him another layer of immortality and as we see with the "true buddha" earlier on reaching enlightenment makes you one with the universe

It's important to point out that one of those mountains was Mt Sumeru and the other was Mt Emei. Mt Sumeru is stated to contain its own heavens and God's. Essentially, Sun Wukong carried heaven on his shoulder like it was nothing, which in the lore is the equivalent to the whole universe.

In one of the death battle episodes, Wukong virtually beat Hercules with little effort. With that in mind, the odds are against Kratos severely.

Dude, I'm sorry, but Kratos doesn't even get time to swing his blades. If you read Journey to the West, Wukong isn't just insanely strong compared to these gods; he's feared. Zeus and Odin wanted Kratos out of the way in case he tried to do something. The gods of Journey to the West actively won't do things because it might catch Wukong's attention and make him destroy the heavens as a goofy, fun Monday prank, which he's done multiple times. He can just come and go from the gods' realm, take what he wants, and most times, they'll just avoid eye contact with him despite being immortal beings. He is different.

Afro, each chapter has a secret area that once beaten, will give you a vessel that massively helps with the final boss of that chapter. Remember this in chapter 4.

Wukong has 7 layers of immortality, held up conceptual infinity, and leapt to the edge of the universe in a single second. Kratos MIGHT be able to beat “The Destined One”, the protagonist of Black Myth: Wukong, but Kratos isn’t beating Wukong.
after beating the game and learning more about the true ending, I disagree with the last part. *Spoilers*
The Destined One becomes the new Wukong to go on a new journey himself, and is given all of Wukongs memories stopping the old monkey from putting the ring on his head. he without a doubt will be able to do the things Sun Wukong could do if not better. Kratos definitely doesn't beat The Destined One unless Kratos faced him before the end of the game.

We are not "playing" as sun wukong, we are sun wukong and this whole thing was so that wukong could be born again without the headband.

Slight correction, he didn’t ACTUALLY jump to the edge of the universe. When he returned to tell Buddha about it, he found out that he’d never left Buddha’s palm. Buddha even showed one of the etchings that Sun Wukong left on one of the heavenly pillars.
That’s how Buddha sealed away Sun Wukong originally for 500 years.

I was worried about this, goddamn you Afro lol. Kratos is not beating Sun wukong. The only person who could outright beat sun Wukong was Buddha who won because he was one with the universe (being everywhere and everything all at once) and transcended all concepts. Sun wukong already was over 10 times immortal, and if you want I can go over some of those ways. Only reason kratos survived isnt because he was inmortal, but because he was just too strong to be held there by any of his gods. Sun wukong by the end of journey to the west attained Buddha hood, therefore having similar feats of Nirvana as Buddha himself. He can transform into basically any animal or creature, make clones that have the same powers and/or power level as him, along with means of flight, a better weapon with greater reach, etc. Also, it's pretty telling when even after death you still have many creatures using your essence as a power boost to potentially challenge heaven.
SPOILER AHEAD:
It's also heavily implied sun wukong allowed himself to die too so he can be free from that headband that was conteolled by the gods, which is stated to give the most severe headaches, which the only way i see kratos overpowering is in rage mode.
Wukong can also make clones of his opponents that are the exact same strength durability etc as them with their powers

Actually, lore accurate, Wukong has one weakness, he has a pair of golden eyes, that have true sight and can see far and clear over 1000km, but extreme weak to direct wind or smoke blow into his eyes. In the original story, the Yaoguai King Yellow Wind and Red Boy (Final boss chapter 2 and 5 in Black Myth), caused big trouble to him with wind and smoke abilities. But yeah again, still, they have no way to kill him. If Kratos can exploit that, he can cause big trouble to Wukong.

Even going by the logic of "Kratos can beat this game version of Wukong", what you are playing , what is tearing up immortals and other powerful beings, is literally one of his clones made from 1 hair strand.
