    I already own all three and love them. This is a great offer and perfect for someone who wants to try out the programs. I’m self taught and amazed at what I’ve been able to create. I’m not a graphic designer, but I create digital content and publish books on Amazon. I’d say go for the trial. Nothing to lose. 😊📚

    At this point, the only viable alternative lacking is for a program like Adobe After Effects. I know Resolve Fusion is there but it's node based and often tedious to accomplish things that were easily accomplished in After Effects.

      this is a very, very, very good point about affinity I think the main problem with it is is that there’s not enough professional not even tutorials out there but even examples of work they need to hire some evangelist that actually used to work with Adobe because the main problem is as I own an agency I tried using affinity designer a couple times and there’s just some things that it’s still doesn’t do that. Illustrator doesn’t until that happens. It’s just no way to do it. I tried actually use it a while ago I always get the impression that with affinity at least until recently there certain things they just don’t wanna change that would really I think bring more professionals over that’s just my opinion.

    • @KuttyJoe
      @KuttyJoe 2 месяца назад +1

      I believe this 6 months trial is really about trying to get as many people onboard as possible in order to be confident in being able to switch over to subscription based pricing. And they've already announced that their being bought out by a company that already has subscription pricing so there's no question about where this is going. First, they'll offer both pricing models as they continue to get more people onboard. Then they'll spring the trap. I think the problem is that Canva probably needs to see a bigger userbase than what Serif currently has so Serif is getting aggressive to get new customers. You should have seen how aggressive they were back in the day. They used to call my home and high pressure try to sell me their earlier products.

Affinity is just begging to be the next Adobe, they don't have the market dominance to act like Adobe today, but if given the chance, they'll behave the exact same way. Switch to Krita and avoid any chance of getting screwed in the future, and the more users Krita has, the better it will become.
