Hi, thanks for that video. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to put in mixed intervals in the polar flow app? Ie. is it possible to for example do - warm up 1,5 km - run 1 min rest 30 run 2 min rest 35 sec, run 3 min rest 40 sec and so on? Does that work in Polar?

Hi, yes, that is the function I use a lot. You go to Add Training and choose PHASED training. There you can mix distance and duration and then you can add repeat phases. Additionally you can choose if you want the next phase to start automarically or manually. Nice features from Polar.

Hi. so I have the polar v. Normally I do my interval training on road. But when I do my phased interval training on track I tend to see my gps is not accurate. For example the other day I did a 25x400 m with 30 sek rest. for every time I ran the finish kept going further and further off my original stop end before the watch automatic switched to rest phase. Everyone else experience this? for me it ends up do my whole "work" phase then click pause then walk back to the original start and stop point and then click continue so the "rest"phase can go as planned, if that makes sense.

Hi Jamal, I use regurarly the phased training, no issues whatsoever. I also run on typically on a 3km track, back and forth, whenever doing intvervals, but the gps is spot on, always the same distance is measured. Have your checked the automatic stop function? Or better saying the start next phase automatically box when planning the phased training?

@@activezone8574 thanks for reply. Yeah so I think I have figured out the issue. to day I ran 8x1000 1 min rest (with auto start next phase) in the 1 minute break/ rest phase I was walking around to prevent stiff legs. So what I found out is that in my rest I walked a total 15 meter and the clock is adding the 15 meter in to the work phase to get the total planned distance of 1 km in the "work" phase. + normally i start my flying start when the work phase is showing up. there I found out that the gps starts kicking in asap after the "work display" is disappearing. So for todays workout I ended up running 8x1000 witch I planned in the app. and I had "auto laps" on for very 1 km. I ended up start at one place, run and see on the display the auto lap pip up but still have som meters to goo in the work phase. Dunno if any of this is makes sense to you but for me and what I experienced it makes sense hehe.

@@jamal6509 Hi, yes, I understand what you mean, I also walk or jog between hard session and finally end up basically with more km-s due to these extra walks. So, I rather have 400m hard Zone3/4 and 400m Zone2, and not 1min rest between them.
