I didn't read anywhere near the amount i wanted to this year. I only ended up reading Decline of the West Volume 1, The Confessions and Imperium. Imperium has to be the highest payoff book per page I have ever read though it genuinely changed how I look at things.

I didn’t do as much reading as I should have this year but I did read a few. Christian Nationalism by Andrew Torba and Andrew Isker. Good, solid read about the latest movement everyone on the left is fearmongering about. Nothing in their arguments struck me as outrageous or unreasonable. (I do have Wolfe’s CN book sitting on my shelf and I’ll probably get to it a my next read). The Boniface Option by Andrew Isker. A good guide for Christians in how we should be living in our current time. The Holocaust Narrative by E Michael Jones. Extremely interesting read and I’m sure one that will get some people to clutch their pearls from the title alone. It’s mostly about how the narrative has been used to destroy the morals and culture of western nations. Really good read, definitely recommend. Currently just recently started Enough Already by Scott Horton. Interesting history lesson so far on a lot of the lead up to our constant Mid East activities.

Notice Auron never touches the JQ, the manufactured Holocough narrative, and the current mass-murder taking place in Israel? Not surprising to those of us who know truly WHO controls the levers of financial and societal power.
Of course, all his fan-boyz come to his defense, as if the above were simply minor historical matters being overlooked, or he has other topics "he'd rather cover."
No! As much as Auron might see himself as open to all forms of cultural critique, he is basically controlled. He's afraid of the blowback by The Blaze, the impact such discussions would have on his image and YT numbers, and where such discussions might lead him intellectually.
Not once has he had EMJ's on to discuss his books and their relevance to current events. EMJ's would force Auron to address the JQ head-on, which he doesn't have the courage to do!

Somehow, that Buchanan book slipped under my radar. That's a must-read. Buchanan has a suprisingly large catalog.

Sowell's "visions" framework is surprisingly evergreen. Maps perfectly onto COVID.

Two things to keep in mind about NN Taleb is that he *refuses* to publish or address his balance sheet as a trader. He also wrote an effusive intro to Saifedean Ammous Bitcoin book and less than 2 years later did a complete 180 and repudiated all the positive things he said in that intro.

Rufo's book is a must-read to understand in detailed depth exactly how the woke left conquered the institutions. Well-written too.
Another book I highly recommend is Michael Anton's "The Stakes". Not only because it is an excellent sweeping summary of everything happening politically, but also because it is incredibly well-written and very fun to read (despite the serious topics engaged in).

I spent years reading books on politics and political theory. Can’t do it anymore. I get my politics fix from podcasts and Twitter. I reserve reading time for something more enjoyable and relaxing like history.

On the number 2 place the idea that wanting your identity to be protected lead to the certain European event is ludicrous. That was darwinistic eugenics that started it.

    In progress:
    1. On Power by Bertrand de Jouvenel

On CS Lewis book, saying "well maybe god is doing this" or "What if god wants this" is not an argument for anything. Anyone can come up with what ifs, but we need to know if its actually true. I suppose all it does is show that god and pain are not necessarily incompatible, but it still doesnt mean anyone should believe in god.
