Alhamdulillah, I have had the honour of sitting in Hazrat Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahabs gatherings and speeches. One of the greatest scholars of this time. Arabs who do not take anyone else to be their leader, take religious rulings and advice from Hazrat Mufti Sahab. That on its own speaks volumes about Mufti Sahab's knowledge and wisdom that Allah SWT has bestowed upon him.

Such a fascinating video. our aslaaf have always held the view that appointing a khalifah (caliph) is one the main obligations of a muslim society. Not something that's to be taken lightly. The fact that British were so much against the weak ottoman empire is proof enough. Muslims have been divided for so long and it's no wonder since there's is no one uniting them there has been unimaginable suffering.

I did Law university, in Jurisprudance class, in covering the development of legal theory and law...it covers Aristotle, Socrates, Austin, Lock, Heart etc but no mention of alternative that was present for 1400yrs upto today... I just learnt that present legal system foundation was shaky and hardly there, so all these laws and rules was coming from here and there with no sound source or foundation or authority...

In this day and age we are confronted with daunting challenges of climate change, unguided technological disruptions, and social crises (income inequality and family breakdown etc) which requires Islam as a genuine solution as it holds man accountable for using property and power. Mufti taqi is a Great scholar. I'm a student of knowledge and his books. Specially his commentary on hadeeth is a phenomenal A masterpiece of a literature.
Justice Mufti Taqi Usmani is the most knowladgable Scholer in the earth right now. Studing his books I got interested to study politocs and completed my post graduation in political science. Now I decided to study more and do a doctorate in Political Philosophy of Islam. And my motivation is Mufti Taqi Usmani, His father Mufti Shafi and his teacher Ashraf Ali Thanwi. I am from Bangladesh.

Dear Paul, you should also highlight Mufti Taqi Usmani's work in Islamic Banking System. He is a leading expert and authority in this field and worked with many Muslim countries governments to formulate their Islamic banking , contrary to the Western (Jewish) banking system that is based on interest , forbidden by Allah in Torah and Quran.
This is the traditional understanding of nearly all religions and cultures including Christianity. The whole modern idea of politics is a product of 18th century European liberalism and it's spread through colonialism.
I think he mentioned in the video that theocracy as understood by Christianity and Judaism is a rule by the Pope and the rabbis which makes it a rule by men, not God.
i am currenly studying European history and western political philosophy, i too failed to find the specific historical details about the origins of social contract as an event.i blamed myself for not being able to find it in this age of information. I did Law university, in Jurisprudance class, in covering the development of legal theory and law...it covers Aristotle, Socrates, Austin, Lock, Heart etc but no mention of alternative that was present for 1400yrs upto today...
I just learnt that present legal system foundation was shaky and hardly there, so all these laws and rules was coming from here and there with no sound source or foundation or authority...

My profound appreciation for the amazing work you are doing. In this day and age we are confronted with daunting challenges of climate change, unguided technological disruptions, and social crises (income inequality and family breakdown etc) which requires Islam as a genuine solution as it holds man accountable for using property and power. I hope the world thinks out of the box and rethink the world order in light of Quran.... being the final word of Allah for guidance of humanity.

Justice Mufti Taqi Usmani is the most knowladgable Scholer in the earth right now. Studing his books I got interested to study politocs and completed my post graduation in political science. Now I decided to study more and do a doctorate in Political Philosophy of Islam. And my motivation is Mufti Taqi Usmani, His father Mufti Shafi and his teacher Ashraf Ali Thanwi.

Dear Paul, you should also highlight Mufti Taqi Usmani's work in Islamic Banking System. He is a leading expert and authority in this field and worked with many Muslim countries governments to formulate their Islamic banking , contrary to the Western (Jewish) banking system that is based on interest , forbidden by Allah in Torah and Quran.
Mufti Taqi Usmani is a dua of our elders, A gem of our ummah, a lamp of Deoband, India and a treasure currently in Pakistan

This is the traditional understanding of nearly all religions and cultures including Christianity. The whole modern idea of politics is a product of 18th century European liberalism and it's spread through colonialism.
I think he mentioned in the video that theocracy as understood by Christianity and Judaism is a rule by the Pope and the rabbis which makes it a rule by men, not God.
@@mahirabdulahi4131 God cannot rule directly in a temporal sense. Laws are carried out and interpreted by men.
