    oh my god 😭😭😭 i just made the transition from procreate to krita and ive been fighting for my LIFE trying to figure out clipping layers bc i CANNOT shade without it and this is the first tutorial i’ve found that actually explains how to get more than one layer to clip to a single object 😭😭😭 thank you thank you thank you!

    I've watched so many tutorial videos and this is one of the first ones that has made sense. Thank you.
    A lot of the tutorials that I have watched often mentioned masks but not what they were or how to get them.

    Thank you SO MUCH. I keep seeing this technique used, but never explained, so I've been trying to follow rapid mouseclicks and never figured it out. I wish this had been the top result, would have saved me a couple hours of frustration.

    I watched 2 10min long videos. And I had to watch them several times because it was overcomplicated explained. I expected nothing and my mind got blown. This elevated my workflow comfort by... atleast up from 0 to something

    It is so difficult, this was literally the 5 vid i watched to understand, in paint tool sai 2 and medibang clipping is really ez and you dont need any group .-.

    2:05 that is a huge flaw in krita, having to make those quick groups in order to apply a clipping mask

    I was trying to figure out how to do this correctly in krita omg lol. Coming from manga studio 5 it was called a clipping layer. Buts since its outdated, krita is the new go to free drawing program!

    Took me like 30 minutes to figure out that my background got filled in with white using the fill tool and it messed up the masks ability to work properly. After backtracking to the mistake and getting the layer bact to transparent it worked perfectly.
