Is GR86 automatic right sports car for midlife crisis? Why not Miata, Mustang GT?

I am getting a GR86 and here is why.

GR86 is an amazing car/platform, I have a z4 m40i rn, and im torn between getting an r35 gtr or a new GR86 as a dedicated kinda backroad/touge car, the r35 would just be another regular street/tuning build but a i may go with the GR to beat on
