Is xReal Air 2 Worth Buying?

xReal, Rokid or Viture are not AR or VR glasses, they are great companion devices like airpods. What a headphone is for sound, xReal is for visuals.
Rokid Max vs xReal Air 2; The Right AR Glass For You
Просмотров 11 тыс.7 месяцев назад
In this quick review I looked at pros and cons of Rokid Max and xReal Air 2
Good review. But I bought the Viture Pros on Amazon today. Why? For me, it is the adjustment dials. I'm nearsighted, and if I have to wear glasses for either one of these two AR glasses, I'll be returning them. Also, there seems to be a difference of opinion about which is better, so either way, it's not certain which ones will be better for me.
I’m on the verge of getting the new viture pro glasses for watching movies and videos. Bigger, more clear screen. Just wondering if you have had a chance to try them and what you think.
13mpg??? 😢😢
is this good for work use for viewing pdfs, powerpoints, webpages etc? is the text and readability crisp & clear like a real monitor and the color reproduction ? and what about media viewing experience like movies etc ?
God bless you
Thank you, Please share the download link.
I am in the boat. I want the 86 Trueno, but if I can't get it I am planning on getting a regular one or a ecoboost. (I dont want to break the bank but I want something fun). what are your thoughts?
GR86 is fun to whip around. light car. great quality toyota
Xreal is the one i will get. Xreal at least has a decent community ,support and xreal keeps updating this glasses which is good.
s650 is also my first sports car
How do you like it?
@@afterworkioit’s the best bang for your buck best interior in its class and faster than the competition 🤷♂️
In your sample videos. The xReal Air 2 appears warmer - red compared with Rokid Max.
FYI You need to activate 120hz mode. A bit cumbersome but as far as I know 120hz mode is not active as standard
Why does he look similar to an Indian youtuber TECHNICAL GURUJII??? 😅 well anyways all the best for your journey 🎉

Hi, I really found your initial Viture vs. Xreal video very helpful! Due to mixed reviews that I read, I just ordered the Viture and X-real and wanting to keep the Viture due to the software and the company support behind it, the image quality is exactly as you stated and unfortunately very soft, wavy at the edges, and just overall a less crisp and smaller picture. The XREAL picture is miles better and I have been going back and forth on this. I feel this new video from you seems apologetic for the company. What good is after purchase support in the end if the image quality suffers so greatly compared to the XREAL. I had no preconceptions coming into my own comparisons, but was just trying to replace some movie watching functionality of the Vision Pro I recently returned since the heavy ness of the device. Either way I fully agree with your original review and comparisons and will be sending the Vitures back after originally wanting to keep them. The XREAL (pro 2 is the one I bought) just have a way more quality screen IMO.
Honestly speaking, I agree with you. The reason I resorted to VITURE for now is my primary use case is to use it on flights with iPhone and support for Apple VISION Pro video via native app is a plus. I don't see myself using them at home with laptops. For Sim racing I have Varjo. So yes while the XREAL video is sharper, the image is bigger - colors are not accurate and app support is lacking. I am actually looking at the Ultra version and will get it once it's available. That said after sales support does matter. The reason I buy Apple products is after sale support.
Thanks for the quick response, always great to see that. I find the xreal image to be just over all better even in terms of colors and overall picture clarity, maybe a personal opinion. I understand that each pair of glasses may be best for one purpose or another, but most people will only be buying one. And even ignoring the projected screen size, it would be very very difficult to give up the clarity of the xreal screen and go just for the viture alone. The difference in overall was just too great imo, much like you initial opinion. Anyhow, thanks again for you great content, was very informative.
is the size of virtue enough for content consumption. Virtue says it is 120 size display when expand does it work?
I have an issue with these being the same cost as a meta quest 3 but only having one function. I think 300/350 would be a price that would be more attractive
Thank you. Where do we get the windows install file/s for xreal air pro. just got mine
Question? Would you go for Xreal 1 or 2? Would like the 2 pro, but the 2 have smaller screen than 1. Btw, here in the UK, Amazon has stopped selling Xreal in the past week. Seems very odd behaviour
You always say "this one". I dont even know which one you are talking about anymore.
This one, that one, which one?
😂😂😂
Massive thank you, fantastic video review as I want to use it for when i am at wor as a nurse and have very little space or time...i need something i can telax and watch tv or netflix with...and ofcourse my football...thank you
GR86 is an amazing car/platform, I have a z4 m40i rn, and im torn between getting an r35 gtr or a new GR86 as a dedicated kinda backroad/touge car, the r35 would just be another regular street/tuning build but a i may go with the GR to beat on
Thanks for the very honest informative video.
Interesting review, but the background with the video is really annoying for me with ADD.
Do you have any referral links for Viture? I'm planning on trying these out and I heard they have no problems with returns if you're unhappy with them.
VITURE are actually very good with returns. It's ROKID which is not very responsive. try Amazon as they have 30 day return policy.
It says windows for nebula needs usb c dp, can you not use hdmi 2.1?
Viture look way better than Rokid, but bro, you can’t compare 60hz vs 120hz
May I suggest, try not to use "This one" when referring to the item, Its difficult to catch. =)
You are braindead
Hi sorry, what did you mean the iPad was was a bigger screen? Is the screen projected just not that big really?
I’m curious how the Xreal Ultra hardware will stack up with the (slightly) increased FOV for productivity Also interested in the Visor hardware… I’m mainly looking to use for productivity, would love to create a virtual replacement for my 43” ultrawide Any other solutions I should check out?
One very important thing to note if you wear prescription glasses for near-sightedness: The Rokid is easily the winner with the diopter dial, because the Xreal need prescription lens inserts (more $$$) and also the Xreal Air 2/Air 2 Pro has a smaller OLED screen compared to the Air 1 requiring your eyes to be much closer to the glasses, and the prescription lens inserts will get in the way. Wearing contact lenses is a non-starter for many as you cannot wear them while asleep, and for many the use case is media consumption either resting or in bed - you cannot take the Xreal off and get a 5-minute shut-eye or nap. The Xreal Air 1 may be an alternative, but it comes with drawbacks in most other departments compared to the Air 2.
The challenge with Rokid is their lack of support for firmware update + they have neither the desktop nor the mobile app for any kind of integration that XREAL and VITURE are offering.
@@afterworkio Agreed, Xreal is clearly the more popular glasses and they're doing the hard work with 3DOF with the beam. Again it depends on use cases as I (Myopia -3) want the glasses for gaming and entertainment, and the Rokid hardware wise has a bigger FOV and diopters, while the Xreal Air 2 has a smaller 0.55 inch Micro-OLED panel which, while it looks to be higher quality than the Rokid, requires the eyes to be closer. The AR/3DOF stuff in Xreal is nice, but IMO it's really for productivity users needing a second monitor, or for stabilization when in public transport e.g. planes/buses. And the Beam is too underpowered for streaming video by itself - If I were to ever get the Xreal glasses I'll pair it with the Rokid station with full Android TV. My perfect imaginary setup would be the Xreal Air 1 with the bigger OLED panel and diopters/prescription inserts, with all the other ergonomic improvements of the Air 2 Pro, connected to a more powerful Beam that has enough processing power to do both do 3DOF and as a powerful Android TV box.
xreal will do 3d
Thanks you sir
Best review so far on youtube
There are many USB-C hubs that allow I-O USB-C, plus another USB-C power in, to power or charge everything connected to the hub. Both Apple & Windows are setting their default task bars to the bottom of the screen. However, there exist in Windows many Task Bar applications that allow this Windows taskbar to be placed on any of the four sides. These taskbars can be auto-hidden, resized, etc as usual. Linux on both Apple & other computers can have these taskbars, sizable, removable, etc onto any of the four sides of the screen.
Link for the windows beta?
here you go: www.reddit.com/r/Xreal/comments/18lykaq/new_nebula_for_windows/
Rokid is a waste..Nreal very good... Used both of them for Productivity also
Opentrack+PhoenixHead Tracker = steamvr on Xreal Air ...
The sound is MUCH better on ROKID
How do you know that?
@sgringo from watching and reading loads of reviews
@@chriseYe-xh6oh Interesting... thanks.
Can you do comparison of Quest 3 vs xreal air 2 ; and specifically focus only the video watching experience (picture quality, clarity, sharpness etc); watching you tube, Netflix, movies, shows, videos, on themNetflix
Yes we need this
XREAL Air 2 Pro, Displayport to USB-C cable and my gaming PC. No hubs needed. It's not perfect but gives me a nice big oled screen for gaming without the uncomfortable weight of my Quest 3.
Correction: Nintendo Switch can be used with xreal or rokid max by using any options available in the marking including Rokid Max adapter, Viture Adapter and XREAL HDMI adapter, but in my experience so far Viture ONLY works with its own adapter. So when I said it can be used as plug and play that's what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.
Hi i just pre-order this xreal 2, i'm curious about the text pixel, is that really bad for text because beside entertainment, I'm plan to use it for coding or sort of. Nice review by the way.
Keep me posted. I also want something for coding.
Thanks for your review! I was thinking of getting the Viture, but then I heard about xReal Air 2 Pros. I‘ve been trying to compare the two different glasses, & your review was so informative! I will definitely be saving my cash up for the xReal Air 2 Pros; they definitely sound like they’re worth the money to me.
The display & smart glasses market is going to blow up in 2024/2025. Keep it up! We need dedicated channels and reviews on the rapid iteration and evolution of this stuff!
Excelent!!!
great review, I am waiting to receive my Xreal pro 2 should come any time soon now , my biggest worry was the screen size , lets see hehe
does it support iphone 15 ?
Yes
