I appreciate this isn’t gore and it’s interesting that you guys experiment with animation. I followed you guys initially for the limited animation with fledged characters without necessarily needing a lore. The extra movements and stuff are kind of uncanny and tbh a bit corny though. You guys were going really good for me about a year and a half ago. I might have adhd, so grain of salt, but too much going on is distracting and feels bad, especially in this funko-pop-esque 2d style. It worked well in solid poses, fluid movement feels unnatural. It’s all just a little too much input. Appreciate the effort tho, I can see you guys are trying. Also I’m grossed out by a lot of recent vids lol
I was just thinking that. It's a lot smoother with less keyframes and more movement during conversations. Idk if I like it just yet, but it isn't horrible
i really love how brew and his team are just experimenting on how to improve animation, and I appreciate the effort, however I prefer the animation Brew had before this, this kinda looks like a Vtuber who's model isn't fully finished rigging yet. Not saying it's bad, I really like it as a vtuber fan, it just looks like uncanny. However, if Brew and his team wants to keep this up, I really don't mind lol Also been binging Brew's videos lately, it's just fun to watch
I feel bad for this guy. To me he seems more like an overly obsessed collector who didn’t have enough money to do what he loved and felt like he needed to do.
Bro I have never seen the way the animation is now, like how brew’s hair is moving when he’s taking and how he has more movement than other videos but I love the new method
Is Brew using a vtuber model to record his animation this time? Has he been doing a livestream or something that I missed, because a vtuber model WOULD make recording the basic animations pretty easy
Man, VTuber Brew looks crazy. Seems like a cost effective way of increasing the animation quality. Honestly? I like it! The back of his hair wiggles too much though, and the chin movement is inconsistent with the previously established artstyle. I adore the other little touches though, like the little messy hair strands waving around, his hand reacting to gravity, eye movement and lip syncing. His weird sidebang things move around like crazy and that is exactly how I would imagine it. If you continue to try working on this model, I think you'd be golden if you just got rid of the chin movement and slowed the back of his hair a bit. It would look really good!
As always love the content, I've noticed the animation looks like a VTuber! I really like it, I've never seen Brew so expressive. I kept playing back some scenes just to admire how well it looks. And this was such an interesting case as well 😄
As someone who has watched Brew since it’s 2nd video, the animation has REALLY evolved. From simple bean characters, to more advanced stills, to animating individual hair, arms, eyebrows, etc. Just incredible!
It looks like they're using a virtual 2D model and using live tracking (similar to how vtubers use them). Since this is easier than traditional animation (minus actually making the model look good and setting up face tracking), it's efficient and nicer looking!
The animation looks like a vtuber model from how smooth it is, from the layers of hair to the animations in the arms! I've watched your videos for a while Brew and you've improved so much!

I completely understand the guy, I freaking love objects, especially antique or ancient objects. If I could, I'd have an entire house filled with them, not only because I just love the "novelty", but specifically because I want to study them, have references at the ready and because I want to cherish them. It's true that people, even my own family, thought I was weird as a kid but I would pick up random objects I found on the street. Of course, this does not include trash nor do I have a hoarding problem, but I adore collections. Nowadays, I'm willing to pick up corpses, clean them and then make skeleton displays. It's quite wonderful, despite what culture may have conditioned you to think. My Mum was thoroughly disgusted when I picked up that dead blackbird and a pigeon, but now she's enthralled.
My heart when I heard Brew said his mom burned all the paintings... All things aside, I think his theft habit probably is a manifestation of him craving the presence and love of his father since he left. Having those items is also a deep association with his more prestigious childhood. I am sure he is an admirer of art but the wanting very likely to be based off on his childhood experience.
The biggest criminal here is the mother for destroying irreplaceable art! Crazy woman. Even if you thought it was just junk, you would not throw items in a canal or burn stuff. You would just donate it to a charity shop or something 🤷♀️ I don’t buy that excuse for a minute!

Yes, the forging methods are a result of the low iron content in Japan's iron sands, but the modern methods put enough work into it to make the blades of comparable quality to blades from other places.

But after stealing the tapestry, as his girlfriend also realized, it was no longer for the art, he became the same as the museums he stole, just collecting art and history and monopolizing it for a lucky few, not caring about expression or soul of the work, only its age and price.
@@Semnome-gv5yg yea, it definitely turned for the worse towards to the end. i still feel sorry for him though, just not as much.
Love how you're getting animated now. So much expression in just shaking around a little.
Brew can literally be a vtuber at this point
Could save on animation costs, and time :p
isn't he a vtuber already? that movement on this episode looks like his character is made from Live2D.
@@shini183 seems similar to the animation that Leafyishere had. Wavy and such. (Dont take this the wrong way lol)
Can anyone notice how more lively his animation has become
I was just thinking that. It's a lot smoother with less keyframes and more movement during conversations. Idk if I like it just yet, but it isn't horrible
i really love how brew and his team are just experimenting on how to improve animation, and I appreciate the effort, however I prefer the animation Brew had before this, this kinda looks like a Vtuber who's model isn't fully finished rigging yet. Not saying it's bad, I really like it as a vtuber fan, it just looks like uncanny. However, if Brew and his team wants to keep this up, I really don't mind lol
Also been binging Brew's videos lately, it's just fun to watch
Who's your favorite vtuber, mate??
@@doorcruz any members from holostars, they're a fun bunch, also like watching utaites using their vtubers models (o^-^)
@@shirostatus7831 oh, thats really cool!!! Are you happy they got a new gen?? As for me im more of a hololive kinda person ajdgajdh
@@doorcruz yeah, I'm excited to see their dynamics, and i watch hololive occasionally since i started with them before holostars ww
I'm convinced this man is a dragon in disguise, slowing hording good he likes
exactly what I thought LOL
Look closer...... Closer
No, he was a dragon and got reincarnated as a human
Don't think I saw anyone else mention this, but I love the new animations for brew. He looks so much more alive now.
yeah the hair moving looks great
The part where the paintings where burnt moisted my paper and uncrunched my autumn leaves, so painful
idk who or what caused the better and more detailed animation for brew, but thank you, it did not go unnoticed, and congrats, it's great!
I feel bad for this guy. To me he seems more like an overly obsessed collector who didn’t have enough money to do what he loved and felt like he needed to do.
Yeah, he loved those art pieces. To think that everything was destroyed must have shattered hos heart
Then work to get money to be a collector. Its an expensive hobby, and he chose this way to get what he want.
It sounds like he had some trauma around his father leaving and filled the emotional void with the art.
@@fjolliff6308 then after the spychological evaluation they could have found something related to that but they didnt
So he can steal because he “desperately” wanted the stuff.
Love watching your animation become more sophisticated over time, it's so cool to see your skills improve
Bro I have never seen the way the animation is now, like how brew’s hair is moving when he’s taking and how he has more movement than other videos but I love the new method
I gotta say, I am LOVING this animation style, Brew feels so fluid and alive!
watching brew’s videos and seeing the new animation style video by video is the most entertaining thing ever
Is Brew using a vtuber model to record his animation this time? Has he been doing a livestream or something that I missed, because a vtuber model WOULD make recording the basic animations pretty easy
Animations and editing were great in this video.
Great job. 👍
I was distracted by Brew moving around SO MUCH. When did he get so animated?
And this was such an interesting case as well 😄
For a guy who appreciate paintings and other art my heart skipped a few beats when the mother set the art on fire..
As a side note; The animation improvements are very noticeable, looking good Brew team
love the slight details of your animation! how the hair moves when you do. and now all of the little things can shine :3
Was not expecting a more animated brew, but im not complaining
Brew! the new animations are amazing! all the little details on the hair! i love it! 😄
Hearing the art was damaged or destroyed actually hurts my heart and makes me angry! Even hearing about him ROLLING up a painting! Ouch! 😩😔Come ON!🤦♀️He was basically a spoiled brat his whole life!🙄
I'm pretty sure he was poor after his dad left...
Interesting design choice for brew’s character but the wobbly animation is a little strange?
Yeah it creeps me out
i love the new little details like the hair and chine movement, or the hand flexing! nice job guys!
i loved the more animated characters, it felt weird at first but it fits perfectly, or is it just me that hasn't noticed that before?
She knew! She absolutely knew!
I mean, donating hundreds of millions of dollars of art to a charity shop would 100% get that woman arrested. Still, a real tragedy.
Did anyone notice how Brew in this video has a lot more physics added, like the hair swaying a bit.
amazing! wait this was made 8 minutes ago whatt, also i like the new stytle of animation :D
You are such a phenomenal story teller.
This guy could've sold a couple things, moved to another country, and enjoyed his treasures in a mansion for the rest of his life 🤦♂️
Yeah, but for him the objects themselves were more valuable than anything else
And all because he never got to enjoy his father's fortune again
Daddy issues, but in another level
Who would buy stolen art?
@@sourpatch6350 There's a huge black market for stolen art and artifacts. Rich people don't have any rules remember? Rules and laws are only for us plebs
@@GlorifiedGremlin you're painting the rich as cartoony villains when there are laws that give tax reductions for buying art (in legal markets, of course) the same way that charity foundations give tax reductions. The poor follow the rules, yes, but the rich exploit and make them.
he probably loved the thrill and yknow daddy issues smh
The animations on the brew crew are kinda getting nutty, the fact that they animated the coffee overflowing in his cup while he's moving is kinda nice xD
Just goes to show don't tell the cops anything but "I don't know what you're talking about" or use your right to remain silent!
The animation of Brew is so wonderful in this vid. I'm in love !
we all know how he really did it tho; he simply reloaded his save file whenever he failed
love the new subtle animation for brew. looks amazing! :)
i love the new animations
Same
I think it's kinda creepy lol
As an artist and a history nerd, that ending causes me physical pain.
Could you please provide the source for the claim he memorised 200+ cameras?
Thank you.
Actually the switching of the "Object removed for study" sign was Galaxy Brain that deserves a "BUT YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO CUT ME OFF"
Sooo..... how did he memorize 200 cameras? That was literally no where
Your animations are getting better so fast I'm impressed
Brew's movement feels so uncanny
Omg!! Love the animation improvement! Fabulous work!
It annoys me that someone like this can steal that much and only get 4 years.
stealing isnt that bad compared to other crimes plus he did it so well so museums could hire him to teach them ways to protect items of value
I mean his skillset could be useful so yeah
4 years is quite alot for just stealing things people commit much worse crimes and get 2-3 years I mean I know someone whos only just got 14 months for r****ing a 15 year old because the last couple of times he did that to people he only got suspended sentances for 6 months their the sentences you should complain about not someone getting a fair amount of time for the type of crimes they committed because you have a hardon for cops or something
He didn't hurt anybody
You must be an American.
The animation has greatly changed from a year ago, it’s been too long since I’ve seen your stuff, Brew. I’m home now!
If the steel from the kamimoto comes straight from mills in Japan...doesn't it mean it's poor quality steel?
I remember reading somewhere that the unique way japanese swords are forged is a byproduct of the poor quality iron available in mainland Japan.
Yes, the forging methods are a result of the low iron content in Japan's iron sands, but the modern methods put enough work into it to make the blades of comparable quality to blades from other places.
They're just conpletely normal knives with a clean, professional Look.
The steel used is just the same kind that your average best buy knives are made out of, however the "manufacturing techniques" are very east Asian, if you know what i mean.
Some call it a scam, allegedly.
Thank you so much for this mega episode. Also noticed the cool animation update, amazing!
I don't feel bad for this guy, it was his choice 100% and if he never made that choice none of this would have happened. He didn't have to listen to his girlfriend, he has 0 excuses
Love the CSI Miami reference, so much nostalgia, brilliant
to me the mom is the real bad guy in this story.
BRO BREW'S ANIMATION IS LIT!!!!!! KEEP IT THIS WAY!!!!!
japanese steel is weaker due to impurites, that means that its actually lower quality not "top notch quality"
Hearing about these hundred years old paintings being burned is indescribably painful. Especially as someone interested in not only art but also the history of art.
