Also using cool water to rinse conditioner helps seal the moisturizer from the conditioner into your hair cuticle (strands). Also use the cool shot button after blow dry to seal the cuticle (closing your cuticle) and creates shine after blow dry
@@ulovemegz that's a pro tip. I used to wonder what the cool button was for on my blow dryer. We have the same blow dryer so I blow dry with hot then blow again on cool to seal.
I started using ORS because of you and its been some YEARSSS, they are a faithful company, the results are good good. I feel they studied black hair or something 😀
Girl, thank you so much for this. For the longest I've had relaxed hair but you know the way social media is with natural hair being everywhere that I started to feel kind of uncomfortable with my relaxed hair and feeling like I was doing something wrong. Now I know that I'm not and that there's nothing wrong with relaxed hair thanks to your video, so I just want to say thank you for giving me some much needed confidence in my hair!
There is always so much online to make us feel quilty in one way or another about something. Just do what makes you feel the most comfortable and good about yourself. I love watching these videos and seeing how talented you are at doing hair, it's amazing to watch. Ordinary mothers etc, who aren't qualified hairdressers, doing friends and families hair and making it look so easy. It's an art and these techniques have to be kept alive and handed down the generations. Can l ask you how you keep your hair from going wavy and curly again in between styling. I am white but I have wavy hair and when I straighten it in the hot weather it is frizzy before too long because of sweating and the heat. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.
@@kerryquinn7188 hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words I really appreciate it! Also I totally get you on the frizzy hair part, I'm also from a country with hot climate as well. My little secret is this, when I'm at home I always cover my hair with a silk scarf! I know it sounds stressful but trust me it's great at ensuring that while in your home your hair isn't exposed to the elements and I also use a mixture of a hair oil and cream on my hair and I do this twice a week, trust me doing this plus the hair scarf will leave your hair smooth and soft. I also go to the salon once every 2 weeks for blowouts and it helps as well. I hope you consider my suggestions 😊
@@lovelymaknae9778 Thanks so much for your reply and the info, funny my daughter mentioned to me about sleeping on a silk pillow case but I didn't know about a silk scarf, I'll definitely give it a go. @@lovelymaknae9778 nothing is wrong with having relax hair. We need to stop letting social media dictate our lives.
