u can its a spare when it doesnt have an identification # on the engine grill and when youve seen the new one.

Effective immediately. ALL FDNY apparatus shall be outfitted with the Federal Q2B mechanical siren. All electronic sirens are to be decommissioned and re-installed in police and EMS vehicles. (I wish).

They can jump in and out easier and faster especially once they get on scene they can be ready with their med bags to jump out right when they stop.
makes sense thank you for the reply. in my town in Missouri they ride up front like a normal fire truck, and the back doesnt even have doors. never have seen that before and thought it was interesting. :)
